Well, I went to Equestria Daily only a few minutes ago to find the oddest thing. Please have a look at this.

 

 

 

Now I am actually kind of excited for this, even if I think its a little strange. First off, Libman was clearly not voicing Pinkie here, hopefully thats just for the trailer. If not, I would be very dissapointed. I also am not a big fan of how the characters show ball joints as if they are a figurine... Its odd. One thing I do like about the design though, is the natural skin colour, very good move. Overall, this looks very adorable, and I cant wait for more information.

I think Equestria Girls is kinda like that mole you get on your face that nobody wants to talk about.

 

Except now, the mole has fallen off, walked away, changed its name, bought a train ticket out of town, and now pretends as if it doesn't know you except for around Christmas where it shows up to dinner and engages in awkward conversation with the in-laws about how it's doing so much better now working for an auto manufacturer in San Jose. And then your wife brings the turkey out, but of course it doesn't want to eat any, it just keep yap yap yapping about all the great opportunities it apparently has and you dare not interrupt it by announcing that Melissa's pregnant because nobody wants to steal the thunder from that egocentric asshole.

 

Where was I? Oh yeah, this has nothing to do with ponies, and I'm probably not going to watch it.

You sound really biased and sound like you're just venting on something you don't like. Your post doesn't have anything to do with anything. I think it reflects really poorly on the FiM fandom how badly many FiM fans mistreat Equestria Girls and it's fans.

I think the Equestria Girls Minis look really cute, myself.

You and me both! ^^ Although, the design seems inconsistent for some reason. The toys have the normal eg skin tone, with the animated version having a natural skin tone. Not a big deal, but interesting to note.

Maybe.   If it comes out like that(with better animation) Id watch it.  I dont know if id like it and honestly im not a fan of the 3D cartoon things anyway.   But..  Gotta love the refrences from the show and the EQG movies.  I noticed 5 on the first watch through.(3 times total)

 

I think it will be decent,  BUT>>>  I DREAD the shit from the fandom hitting the fan. (Cant spell fandom without fan, Lol.)(And what i mean by that is if there is a fandom, there is going to be something hitting the fan, ALWAYS)

Then I apologize for my assumption. I figure it's for the best that it's different, if you wanted FiM, you'd watch FiM. I'd like to see a series where they deal with Human world magic which is quite different from Equestrian magic.

Well that looks... terrifying. Seriously a message to animators "STOP TRYING TO PUT CHARACTERS WITH BIG EYES AND ROUNDED HEADS INTO 3D ANIMATION!". Seriously characters designed with big heads and eyes just don't work in 3D. This should have been apparent since the early 2000nds.

I'm...somewhat okay with this, but as the short is only 25 seconds long it's almost impossible to garner much from it. As with EqG when it first came out it's best to just wait and see what comes of this when it is released.

I... do not know how to react to this. I mean, I became a Brony after Equestria Girls was a thing, so I wasn't too attached to the ponies to have a jarring transition into the human world.

 

With that being said, I must admit that that teaser was mind-numbing. Mostly, it's the animation that throws me off (since the FiM animation style is what I associate with EG the most).

 

Additionally, I genuinely do not know if Hasbro is going to put any effort into that. Obviously, I hope they do (after all, they have expectations to live up to). I guess I'll try watching it, but I have a sinking feeling about it.

 

(I actually thought the trailer was a joke, or a fan-created thing at first)

The animation and voice acting was pretty bad... but I'm willing to give this show a shot. I mean I love Equestria Girls so anything to do with it I'll like though I wish they would just turn the movies into a full pledge show.

 

Side note: Just thought about it, maybe there trying to experiment with us and see if we would like an Equestria Girls tv series so this is just to see how we would react to this.
