When the weather is freezing I tend to get chunky chicken noodle soup and hot tea. Campbell's or Chunky is very good.

I love myself a bowl of homemade pumpkin soup and a cup of tea during stormy days. Having a nice cup of tea during a rainy day is oddly nostalgic, come to think of it.

We have this amazing dish that's referred to as "rum dum soup" here on the Native American reservation.

It's basically macaroni, diced tomatoes, and sometimes a protein such as ground beef or pork, topped off with a slice of American cheese, and it's usually served with a few pieces of Passamaquoddy Fry Bread called "Tumasis"

It's very delicious and very warming and reminds me very much of my childhood.

Rice and noodles, the Asian kind. They're the most versatile food choice in Asia, since you can pretty much add any spice, sauce, or other foods on it and it will still be good, even with something as simple as meat sauce or sliced tofu. They're hot and fresh, and with the case of noodles you can heat it and then keep it cold to serve it as Asian cold noodles in the summer, so it works all year long regardless of the climate.

I would list hot chocolate and mocha too but they're drinks. :v

Food-wise, I loves me a nice bowl of tomato soup and a grilled cheese sandwich. Also have to mention Chicken Noodle soup, especially homemade. Trust me when I say it's amazing with actual chicken and especially with homemade broth. :squee:

Drink-wise, of course that goes to hot chocolate... I mean I like my chocolate, so it would only be reasonable. :P But I do like a nice cup of Egg Nog during the festive season.
