I'll be honest, I could pick everything on this list. I just love to game, and each platform is special to me in its own way. :D

If I had to go with one though, I'd pick PC. Mostly because it's just so convenient, highly customizable, and the games are usually a bit cheaper than on home consoles.

Not to forget steam sales :D

* i'm more than happy playing on my pc. i'm not really much for console games anymore, but i dunno if that's due to not really having any of my own (well i do, just not in my room, where i spend a lot of my time) or if it's just because they don't interest me. i mean, i play my 3DS sometimes but eh, pc is far superior.

PC for sure, I built my own rig and it was well worth it. A lot of games on it.

Oh, I also have a Wii U as well. That's fun.

I haven't really played video games in well over a month now, but I like Nintendo for their games. Sony can have some good games, too... sometimes.

Usually, I play nothing but Sony consoles... it's nothing against Xbox and Microsoft, but I grew up on the PS1. I'm just used to the way a PlayStation controller feels in my hands. I also grew up with the GameCube and GameBoy Advance, so Nintendo is great too. I play Xbox when I'm with my girlfriend or my friend.

Never played PC (except games on my friend's laptop) as I have neither the expertise nor resources to purchase parts and build my own.

Edit: I also have no place to put it in my dorm. The only way I could get my own gaming rig is if I got one of the on-campus apartments or an off-campus apartment, and that's more money than I have.

As far as the 8th gen goes, I mainly play on PC. I started my PC build a few weeks ago and over the past year have bought lots of games, so it was really worth it to ascend xd. Plus, my favorite game is currently a PC exclusive, so yeah.

Aside from that, I also like to play games on the SNES, 2DS, Gamecube and Sega Genesis. I don't mind the Xbox and Playstation consoles (though I haven't really been impressed by the PS4 or Xbox One), but I'm more of a PC, Nintendo and Sega guy.

My main platforms are PC (at least what my laptop can handle), PS3, and PS4. I think Sony is killing it in terms of what I want to play and what is available on a console.

But I also dabble a bit on my 3DS and the only mobile game I've really gotten into is Puzzle & Dragons.

I'm more interested in the games than the platform. For the time being I'm playing my 360 more than anything but once the games I've been waiting for come out I'll shift focus to PS4 for awhile.

My Vita, 3DS and PSP all get equal love though.

All about the PC. Superior graphics, modding, steam sales, and the fact that it's, you know, a computer. In this day and age, computers are basically a requirement, why have two different machines for gaming and computing when I can have one that does both just as well (or even better)?

Xbox One and 3DS is what I play. I have a preference to Xbox nowadays (plus I can't exactly afford to support two systems like that) and currently I own more games for it than I have ever owned for any system. That is saying something. Really enjoy the system. ^__^ The backwards compatibility makes it even better.

The 3DS is a pretty easy choice, though the overall game selection isn't the best. I feel like Nintendo is once again dropping the ball with third-parties. Been playing a bunch of Smash lately.

Voted for all except mobile. I don't really have a certain platform I prefer over the other, it really depends on which game I'm playing.

*cough*PC master race*cough*

Seriously though, I play mostly on PC but I have a PS4 solely for exclusives.

  • 2 months later...

These days I pretty much stick to PC games and occasionally a 3DS game like Pokemon, but I've played so much Xbox in my life (and I still play a lot of games with a controller on my PC) that I included it in my vote.

For me, I would have to say it's a tie between Playstation and Nintendo. I grew up playing both platforms and they had some pretty enjoyable games to play, in my opinion. Currently, I'm mostly playing on my PS4, Wii U, and my 3DS.
