May the Best Pet Win [POLL]

I've seen so many polls about best Mane Six member, best CMC member, best princess, best background pony, etc. While I'm sure this has probably been done before, opinions do change and I'm curious as to who everyone thinks the best pet is.

 

If you do choose to vote in the poll, please give your reasoning, especially if you select "Other."

 

For me, I've picked Angel. I know there's the whole running joke in the community, "Angel is the most evil character there is," and while I do enjoy the ribbing and I get my fair share of laughs from it, I just can't help but like Angel.

 

He does have his moments of decency. And it definitely would be inaccurate to say he doesn't care about Fluttershy, because we have seen plenty of moments where he worries for her and supports her. To me, Angel seems to have much more character to him than most of the other pets. Owlowiscious would be a close second for me.

1. He's Rainbow's pet.

2. His incredible neck strength.

3. "May the Best Pet Win" / how he was introduced in-show

4. He isn't constantly used to facilitate a pun.

5. He's the only tortoise I can think of who can fly; Great A'Tuin doesn't count, as that's space-swimming

I like Angel. He's a little rascal and can really escalate a situation. I like that about him.

Definitely have to go with Tank, for the wonderful relationship between him and RD. The cuteness with that never stops. 

 

Gummy would be second place, since he is hilarious. His blank expression is amazing for any situation.

He's a lot nicer to Fluttershy than people give him credit for, just watch Hurricane Fluttershy or Scare Master

Gummy. That alligator is really deep and just understands me. He's the rock to Pinkie Pie's balloons. He's the sprinkles to her her cupcake. The Mane 6 all have unique and interesting pets, no hate on them, but Gummy is my choice. Tank would be second and then Owlowiscuous after him.

Angel Bunny for sure. He's the only one with a character. The others aren't developed acting more like props half of the time.  Angel is a dick, sadistic almost but does care for Fluttershy but doesn't put up with her more timid traits. Yeah you can hate him for those things but you can describe him by more than saying he's Fluttershy's pet.

I would have to go with Angel Bunny because he is a character that I love to hate.
