I'm starting to read the Naruto Shippuden manga since, my friend told me that the manga is really good.

The sad part that I found so far was, Neji dying in the manga.

I really like Full Metal Panic FUMOFU and Chrono Crusade.  I also enjoyed Elfen Lied, Wolf's Rain and Blood.  I watch a variety of Anime, but those were some of the first I watched since I could pick them up locally.  In fact I had no idea what I was buying at first, but these were enjoyable.

Havent seen much yet but I have a list of 26 more Anime to watch. So far though I loved Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann, enjoyed Death note (but not quite as much as the manga), and I am insane about Code Geass: Lelouch Of The Rebellion.

I loved Digimon when I was little.  Noein and Serial Experiments: Lain are both amazing sci-fi anime.  Fruits Basket is very sweet and emotional.  Gunslinger Girl has great storytelling.  Last Exile and Elfen Lied are both cool.

erm i'm just gona give my top 5 

 

1. Fullmetal Alchemist (2003) it was the first anime i obsessively watched when i was younger and got me hooked on anime i consider the original superior to FMA brotherhood  

 

2. Baccano- this anime to me is an epic train ride of awesome action and even better characters 

 

3. Gankutsuou- one thing i should point out is that i consider the count of monte cristo the greatest novel and the anime brings all that and makes it a beautiful work of art and rewrites the story abit to make the count even more vamperic and untouchable.

 

4. FLCL no words and describe its win

Angel Beats is my all-time favorite anime. I cried throughout the series, and if I watch it again, I'll bawl. 

 

Other favorite animes include Fullmetal Alchemist, Fruits Basket, Sailor Moon, Sword Art Online, and Rosario + Vampire.

The only reason I found that cartoon was because there was a bike trail in Whistler, BC called Samurai Pizza Cat. When I found out it was an actual show...yes.

 

My favourite is by far Neon Genesis Evangelion. The characters are so complex (except Shinji and Rei, screw you guys), but watch the dubbed version; the VA's are annoying in English and a lot of stuff is poorly translated. 

I have four action figurines, two of which are fairly rare collectibles, and a MASSIVE poster of Asuka. Mari's my favourite now, though.

 

Black Butler is a close second. Grell. THAT IS ALL. I even changed my name on here to his at one point, because I LOVE him. The VA in English is stellar, and the dub is good too. I love the design of the characters and I LOVE period stuff, which is why I also love Downton Abbey and GoT.

I'm surprised to see so many people enjoy it as well! No one seems to know what is is.

 

Hetalia and the first season of Darker Than Black are up there, too. Deadman Wonderland, Ouran High School Host Club, Oreimo, and High School of the Dead are all good fun as well.

 

Manga-wise, it's different; I like Liar Game and my guilty pleasure is Fruits Basket (the anime sucked). I was obsessed with Kyo *laughs*

Well I have no specifics in it buuuut... I'll give my top 5......here we go *breathes in*

 

5. FullMetal Alchemist: cuz it has alchemy.... and badass transmutations you can't say no to that.

 

4. Digimon (every kind): My childhood anime beginning... plus kick ass evolution.... DIgivolve!  go!!!!

 

3. Zoids: HAHAHAH I bet some of you might remember this... first anime kind where i bought 20 toys for it... and oh yeah Bad ass animalian Mechs hehe

 

2. One Piece: one word.....pirates......yup.... pirates :3

 

1. Sword Art Online: I mean come on it brings 2 of my favorite things in 1 is Anime.... and 2 it's in an MMO nothing gets cooler than that hehe..

1 - Mahou Shoujo Madoka Magica: Cute, awesome and sometimes kinda sad. I just love it!

2 - Black Lagoon: Bad ass action, with a bunch of characters who know how to be epic.

3 - Death Note: The plot of the anime + L *fangirl squeal*

4 - Hellsing (+ Ultimate): There's just something satisfying about watching vampires and a priest f*** each others s*** up.

5 - Fate/ Zero: Way better action sequences than Bleach (well the Bleach I've seen) and characters that I find interesting... and Caster .

5) Angel Beats! - Mostly because of Masami actually making me tear up.

4) FLCL - Awesome music, awesome action scenes, awesome characters, it's just awesome.

3) Higurashi no Naku Koro ni - I loved what they did with the story arcs, and they really pulled off horror pretty well IMO.

2) Beck - This one does a really good job telling some of the things bands typical go through, starting from scratch.

1) Serial Experiments Lain - AUGH, I know I said "no particular order," but this has to be my absolute favourite anime. I just love psychological mind benders and this one really pulls it off for me.

I'm currently reading Pokemon Adventures/Special and Full Metal Panic. These two would have been up there but the title says anime and I haven't watched the Full Metal Panic anime and Pokemon Adventures doesn't have one. Naruto is also an honorable mention.

Huh. Favorite anime. Well, I might as well dive in.

My top five are:

 

1. Clannad. Setting up feelings, and breaking them down. It uses the galge's story and plot 9while summarizing a lot of it) to set up a beautiful love story that will keep you interested and curious. Though the longer you watch it, the more addicted to it you get. And it doesn't restrict itself against taking a hammer to this gentile story, smashing the main character's meaning of life and reason to live. An anime that willing to creatue a beautiful story and smash it, all for the sake of plot and feels, and to teach a lesson - that is the anime I most love.

2. Steins;Gate - Again, same reason as above. BUT WITH SCIENCE, and suspense and drama. Though it's less of a love story and more of a conspiracy story. Never the less, it is amazing.

 

3. Shinsekai Yori - A beautiful anime with a rich story based around japanese mythology and civilization following our own, in a wolrd where Science and Esper powers fought; and the espers won. In my view, this anime is pure art, and is just beautiful at capturing the aesthetics of japanese culture.
