gaming Where do you buy your video games from?

Fairly simple question here. There are plenty of options when it comes to purchasing games. Major retailers, resell shops, online retailers or simply digital.

With all these options, where do you buy your games? Could be any mixture of these of course.

I mostly buy my games digitally from Xbox Live. When I don't do that, I either go to Walmart, rarely Gamestop (I feel better supporting Walmart almost. :\) and if I want to go to a resell shop, there is one in Evansville that is quite good. I like to get DS games from there. :3

Amazon. Always used Amazon for games and what not. Never used anything like CEX, Game or anything like that.

A lot of the time I buy digitally these days. There aren't too many stores that actually sell video games in any real capacity around here. The two major ones being Gamestop (whom I have issues with), and Smyths (no one outside the UK and Ireland will know them). Other than those two, there are a few smaller independent stores around the city, but I'm hardly in there enough to purchase from them. Digital is just more convenient, even if you could get better prices elsewhere.

On the occasion I don't download them directly, I just go down to my local EBGames to pick them up.

I've gone digital, so Steam.

As Vulon Bii did, I've gone digital; although, I don't buy them from Steam itself as they're too expensive. I buy Steam keys from sites like Humble Bundle and BundleStars at like $5 for like 12 keys worth somewhere around $10+ each. In doing so, I have over 250 games in my Steam library and have a library worth (according to Steam Gauge) $3623.87. I have only spent like $500 bucks.

I mostly buy my games at gamestop since I walk there although with some exception of the games such as animal crossing new leaf since i care about my data, yo-kai watch 2 fleshy souls for sailornyan, and wii-u and 3DS VC games, I just go to the eShop. Steam games, I just buy from the steam store whenever there's a sale.

Always buy them online, especially from Amazon, I still buy a couple of games from GS, but lately I've been trying to cut my trips there

It's a split between a digital purchase through PSN or XBL or through Amazon. I have picked up games at random places, like a pawn shop, or craigslist, but those are rare moments.

I buy my games from GameStop. If it's older games like PS2 games, I get them from Retro Reboot.
