I don't listen to any genre of music that much, so I tend to listen to a variety of genres. Something that many songs that I really like have in common is that they are piano focused, or are played entirely on the piano. I also have a tenancy to really like a song for a couple of months, get bored of it, find a new song and repeat the process. At the moment, my favourite song is "When Johnny Comes Marching Home" from the American Civil War, but that will most likely change soon.

Ever since being more active in the Geometry Dash community, I've been listening to a lot of dubstep and other electronic music. Some dubstep can feel edgy and cringy to listen to, but for the most part it sounds great and is chill to listen to. I also listen to slow, relaxing piano/orchestra music, which I turn on when I feel like chilling and going to sleep.

While I enjoy/tolerate MOST genres of music, Metal is my all time favorite. That being said, metal is a wide range of genres, so to be more specific, I like power and doom metal. Lately, my playlist is full of Iron Maiden, Metallica and Dethklok, with Danzig and Pentagram thrown in sometimes too. That being said, metal has helped me through some rough times, and generally motivates me to get up in the morning.

I like orchestral movie soundtracks (especially John Williams), Disney music and Broadway showtunes. Other than that it's too hard to narrow it down to a genre because I like one song here, a piece of music there; nothing you could really define as a specific love of one thing over another. Just a bit of everything, sort of...

I generally listen to 80's music of almost any sorts, hard rock, prog rock, glam metal, classic rock, indi rock, power metal. I'm also quite a fan of retrowave/synthwave music and electro-swing.

To be honest, I listen to what I like. But it is mostly metal (here especially melodic death metal, progressive metal and sometimes thrash, heavy and power metal), rock (mostly prog rock, indie rock, alternative rock and post-rock), EDM (usually uplifting trance, progressive house, progressive trance, chillstep and melodic Drum 'n' Base) and new age/world music/Electronic music/Ambient like Enigma, Era or Tangerine Dream. But it can also happen that I hear a few songs from the 80s, 90s or older or even a few mainstream songs. It also depends on my mood what I listen. The only music I don't like is Hip Hop (especially german Hip Hop), extreme techno like Gabber, extreme metal/grindcore and Schlager.

I like all types of music except for country, rap, and hip hop. I personally favor electronic and classical music. It's a weird pair, huh? Some futuristic sounding stuff then, you have the calm melodies of classical. It really just depends on my mood at the time.

That's sounds like a lot, but you have no idea how many metal sub genre's there are.
