I for one am glad that they're taking their time - it means that this game might actually be worth playing. I'd much rather wait a year and change for a good and balanced game, than have them quickly

Well seeing that it's been "under production" for several months, I'd say these guys are slow as buck at making games.

I mean seriously, I took a flash-game-making class and made my own fighting game just like this in about 3 hours.

 

It better be more than it looks, because I'm getting tired of waiting for this.

I'm soooooooo excited for this! So far, I really like what I see with the fighting system, and not to mention the music is fantastic.

 

 

Well seeing that it's been "under production" for several months, I'd say these guys are slow as buck at making games.

I mean seriously, I took a flash-game-making class and made my own fighting game just like this in about 3 hours.

From their website: "Getting a character into the game requires character planning, concept balancing, concept art sketching, concept art cleaning, high-res conversion, making of sprite-sheets, importing into the game, testing, re-testing, calibrating, movement balancing against the other characters and itself, SFX, Background Music, Background Stage sketching, cleaning and conversion, stage testing, engine Modification, GUI Modification, more testing, compiling, testing for unforeseen bugs and issues that might appear... A huge load for each char in."

 

Now, do this to 17 characters and you'll see that they work hard as hell. They do have a life behind the computer screen, you know.

I am terribad at fighting games... but I've been following development of this game for a while now and it looks phenomenal. Truly amazing that they're so committed to making it free, too! They won't even take donations!

 

I am gonna play this game til my thumbs blister from button-mashing.

Love and Tolerance for everyone!

 

Especially the ones I don't agree with.

I just want to revive this thread for additional discussion about whatever we may!

Personally, I've been playing charge characters on SF4 recently. The next step would be mastering the rushdown.

Then I can prepare to Bake... >=D

I still find it sad that the initial release won't have training mode. VS Mode will have to do or so..

This is a freeware indie game that is being made by the developer mane6. They say that even though it will be freeware they are doing anything and everything possible to make it a great game and not half-ass it.

 

From the info given they really seem to be trying to make a fantastic game.

 

Anyone else gonna check it out?
