I wanna see Starlight and Trixie get summoned by the map!

It looks very interesting and any opportunity to see Trixie and Starlight together is a treat for me. Also, I love the look of the new changeling hive.  

However, I do have one question. How can that changeling be Thorax's brother? Aren't all changelings just hatched from Queen Chrysalis's eggs? It doesn't seem like changelings have parents.

They could be from the same clutch of eggs, only other changelings you hatch with are considered siblings.

So, is this the opposite of Thorax's introduction episode where

 

instead of the Changeling wanting to be reformed they try to reform the Changeling themselves?

Interesting idea. Don't get me wrong. I'm definitely not calling this a flaw with the episode yet because I obviously haven't seen it. It will most likely give us an explanation.

Ok. That's fine Sparklefan. That's what this topic is for. We are just giving our thoughts and predictions based on what we see from this trailer. Doesn't really matter if you're wrong or not. Why the long face?

Two observations:

Changeling rock transformations are back....yay?

And it seems like Pharynx is trying to either ruin the "beauty" of Thorax's new kingdom or he is trying to bring the old hive back to it's "former glory"

Either way he seems strangely alone for a supposed group of rogue changelings mentioned in "Triple Threat"

Did Thorax actually manage to assert himself on all but one?

Is that guy so bad that give him unique look?  He doesnt look like any common pre-reformed changelings.

I have a prediction for this ep: That changeling will be reformed and become a colorful changeling with happy happy happy personalities. I challenge  you to do something more interesting this time, writers!

Looks like Starlight and Trixie finally have their time to shine without anypony bugging them all the time. I think of her as the real main character of the show. Twilight's only here because of her name.

Looks interesting.  If it's the Map sending Starlight & Trixie to the changeling hive, then I'm looking forward to seeing either (a) Trixie freaking out at the beginning of the episode to her cutie mark flashing and glowing, or (b) if she already knows how the map works (which would be a reasonable assumption seeing as she's friends with Starlight), Trixie geeking out over how the "great & powerful" friendship map called her (as long as she doesn't let it go to her head, that is).

Either way, I'm hoping for some prime cuts of ham from Trixie.

Hopefully Spike has some role in the episode, even if he doesn't go along with Starlight and Trixie. If he's completely missing like he was in "Fame and Misfortune." it will be a slap in the face to his character if he's seen as not important enough to even offer the two of them advice before they leave. =P

Also, I hope Pharynx does more than smash stuff like the yaks. This is the episode I was most looking forward to because I wanted to see the show delve into what amounts to changelings having feelings about being "the bad guys" and how they identify with the rest of the world. What they showed in the promo worries me a bit, but hopefully that was not indicative of the arc of the episode as a whole.

She (Starlight) can be a real main character in Season 8 -- along with Fluttershy, Pinkie Pie, and Spike, of course!

The reason why I want them to be main as well is because their arcs aren't quite finished, while all the others' are, under my thoughts.
