Fair enough. I have enough external battery packs to keep my phone and tablet going for a few days, but unsure how well the towers and data net would handle a long-term blackout.

I only have a 160 watt inverter and it's only good for charging my laptop in my car...

I have one of those too, but it seems a fairly expensive way to charge a laptop.
