web Is there anyone else who still uses Yahoo Answers?

For the past seven years I went there for quick answers, but nowadays it seems to be ridden with trolls. They have become the reason why I continue to go there, to see how would they handle and apply their ridiculous ideologies (e.g. racism, genderism, religion/atheism, etc.) into different scenarios.

As of February 2018 I still use this website, but then there is this troll that keeps reporting my questions (such as about asking liberals for advice for homeschooling kids, or whether is nationalism good or not). Trolls like this and some of the worst racists are why I hate this website, and why I have sometimes become influenced by their extremism.

Is there anyone else who still uses Yahoo Answers? Also, were you affected by it in some way as I am?

No, because I've seen far too many incorrect answers. Use quora.com for in depth answers to various questions across a wide spectrum of topics.

Unfortunately, in order to ask questions in Quora, your answers need to be visible to a number of users first. I find that to be ridiculous.

I've never liked Quora.

They've always struck me as blatantly biased, elitist, etc.

Everyone is blatantly biased. Saying someone is biased is like saying you breathe nitrogen with oxygen. When someone says that people are blatantly biased, I also wonder why they can't see it in others. I can.

Most of the Quora userbase are professionals or educated. I don't care if a person is elitist if I ask about tax code and when I should consider filing as a MD corporation or FL. If I want to know how to fix a P valve seal, I don't care about someone's politics ... and neither does my plumbing.

If people don't know how to peel the substance from the bias ... well ... learn to or continue selectively picking from a limited sample. I'll be over here getting smarter in the meantime.

I definitely agree, but the elitism can be a bit annoying, depending on how polemical and unnecessarily aggressive they get.

No, not really. To be honest, I don't really trust answer sites that much, because most of the information on there isn't even accurate.

The only time I really use, look at, or even browse those type of websites is to find comedy gold like this:

I very rarely use those sites unless I'm looking into something heavily opinionated and I want to see what other people think about a topic. Still though, I wouldn't use it as a resource for fact finding or basing any serious decisions on. Sites like StackOverflow are the same deal; you don't just copy the top answer to a question and shove it in your program, you might decide to do something similar or figure out something even better.

Only to ask stupid questions for the sake of annoying people

Sometimes you can find hidden gems on it (by hidden gems I mean really funny threads) like...

"am I pregant?", "I found my son watching MLP Porn, what should I do?" and other funny moments

Understandable -- except the bias in question also seems to affect Quora's moderation, sources, etc., quite often (which isn't understandable, however).

That, and its interface seems pretty impractical and unpopular.
