Do you find characters attractive?

I don't find the ponies, specifically, attractive. It really depends entirely on how they are drawn. Some fan art is sexy, but I don't find the ponies attractive when in context of the show.

 

The only reason I sometimes find them attractive is because of their personalities. I don't find people attractive unless they appear to have some depth to them. If there is depth, if there is potential, it makes someone a viable partner in my eyes--whether or not I have discovered who they really are.

 

The ponies in the show are not real. I don't expect to meet them in real life. I don't expect to meet someone like them in real life. I don't have the desire to date, have sex with, meet, etc., any of them. But they are valid, deep characters to me. I look at them the same way I would any other fictional character. Sometimes, that means I look at them with sexual attraction.

 

@@Gestum, you have confused me. Please tell me precisely why it is wrong to have crushes on fictional characters. "They don't exist" is not, to me, a valid answer. I know they don't exist, that's why they're fictional characters. What about their not existing makes liking them wrong? Because I will never meet them? I know that. I acknowledge that. I have no misconceptions about that. What's the problem?

Do you think it's wrong to be aroused by live action media (e.g. pornography) depicting fictional characters? The characters played by those actors are no more real than My Little Ponies.

 

It is fine if you are not attracted to fictional characters of any kind. I don't care. But--as long as one is fully aware that a fantasy is a fantasy--what is the issue with attraction to things that don't exist?

Yes, I think they are very attractive and yes, I'm sexually attractive to them because they are beautiful and hot. They all have real nice plots even the stallions and they are cute and adorable that makes them attractive to me in an adoring way. They are smart and beautifully colored, and they don't look like the ponies or any equines we have on Earth. That why to distinguish them from Earth's equines I say, FiM Ponies.

 

Basically, I say FiM Ponies are very sexy and attractive.

I think stallions have attractive looking art but like I don't find them sexy? But I would say I get mini crushes on them, but like I don't know how to explain it but it is way different than a person but I think some ponies/stallions are nice to look at. Of course, real horses are just beautiful animals, in no way attractive. I think the only reason I find them mildly attractive is how they are personified.

Heh, jk, but in all seriousness I would never like ponies that way, but if that's someone else's cup of tea, I'm not telling them how to make it. To me it's more of a fetish, but it should be kept private. It does go to an extent where people push it to minors (meaning the CMC, Diamond Tiara, Button Mash, etc.), which is why I'm not fond of cloppers, but just as long as they don't bring up horse ass in regular conversations I'm fine.

I personally don't have an issue with having a crush with afictional character, problem is taking it too far and believe you're literally dating it or being married

I think it depends heavily on the context of the image you are viewing, ponies taken straight from the show are not sexy to me, but with the power of fan art anything can be made sexy as seen by the plethora of pictures people have been posting in this thread. However, I will say that hypothetically if ponies did exist and humans interacted with them I could see one advantage to being in a sexual relationship with a mare compared to a woman, and that is ponies are so biologically different from humans you wouldn't have to worry about having children with them which I guess could be an advantage or disadvantage depending on the person.  However, if you somehow managed to break the basic laws of nature and had a child with a pony you would end up having a centaur, which are easily the most badass creatures in the (fictional) known universe. I mean just look at this picture

I can't really read what the small print says, so I can't say for sure.

I don't think you meant "race."  That comes off as meaning something else entirely.  And do you watch the show with the sound off?  The ponies of MLP are entirely speech-capable; and better at it than a lot of humans.  They certainly do have personalities.  Have you seen the show?  Or simply stared at a still image at length?

I don't understand the question?  For the same reason a heterosexual male might find a female human attractive; though there isn't really a "why" to it.  I didn't need to sit down and make a list of reasons to find Rainbow Dash attractive.  I saw Rainbow Dash and was attracted to her.

btw peeps, regular ponies are not hot and it's obvios, but a whole bunch of the things the fandom do are infact attractive, humanized or not, but you still are gonna deny it, because you respect the characters to much for you to downgrade them like that

If it's any consolation I doubt they would be interested in us humans either.

Most of them, probably not. But I'm sure some would, considering how some of us are attracted to them, and since they live in a world with more than one intelligent species in it, the idea of dating someone from another species probably wouldn't be as big a deal to them, no more than an interracial couple would here. although a pony with an actual animal would most likely still be frowned upon.

I'm not really all that bothered to admit on here that I am a bit of a clopper. So yes, I do find some of the characters in it attractive.

 

Albeit, if my real life non fans asked, I'd probably deny it due to the fact that I'd never hear the end of it.

Absolutely! I love cartoon characters and the ponies are no exception. They're caricatures and as such they are designed to magnify the attractive attributes of who they represent. They're absolutely exquisite!

Holy St this thread is giving me a migraine. I would like to say my peace just to get it off my chest.

I don't like it when you mix both cutesiness and sexiness together. It just screams wrong to me on so many levels like they're on complete opposite ends when it comes to attractive traits.

One describes childlike innocence (cute) while the other describes adulterated wickedness (sexy) to me, but putting the two together is illogical IMO.

So the whole idea of people finding ponies attractive, well its alright to discuss this bizzarre fetish this fandom shares along with the Furry Fandom to an extent, but I'd be careful NOT to go too in depth that it violates NSFW rules.

But back to the question, I can sort of see why people would find MLP characters attractive. It must be the butts and eyes being too well defined. Almost human-like and anime-ish even in their pony forms. This wasn't a problem with the previous generations as their snouts and eyes did reflect similarly to Real Life Horses. That and the fact that they don't have to wear clothes every once in a while since they're horses soo the perverted side of imagination becomes vivid and clear... . I've said too much.

Honestly, the sheer thought sickens me and gives me a corrupt perception of what the show is about as @Star Trail mentioned which I agree wholeheartedly.

I actually do find them attractive, and their personalities make them even more so. I will say that anthro fanart and the EG versions really brings out their attractiveness more than the feral versions from the show though.
