I wouldn't know, I've been using Chrome for years because I've never had a reason to use anything. It's fast, has add-ons, and can integrated right into a Google account to make setup easy if you do system restore or get a new PC.

Wanna bet?

Even some fairly trustworthy websites are a near-unusable mess that will give your computer e-herpes(I'm looking at you, DeviantArt) without ad-block. There's also things like Tumblr Savior and Ponyhoof(which makes Facebook MLP themed)

Wanna use some-place actually seedy like Pirate Bay without adblock? Forget it unless you want everyone around you think you're on a hardcore porn site.

You trying to advertise Chrome or something?

Also, I don't use Dumblr, Ponyhoof or Pirate Bay and I've been on deviantART using Internet Explorer without encountering problems.

Then you got lucky, I've heard countless people complain on the forums about getting infections form the ads.

There are many viruses out there that can hide themselves on the computer.

Besides that point, not all people will get the same problems because of different activity. It just depends on the user and IE.

Well on my Macbook, I  think Safari is better Integrated into Mac even though I do have Chrome installed.

On my Windows, I surprisingly use IE 10, I dunno, it just feels fast and fluid. I sorta like using the underdog too  :P

I use Opera, and am more than happy with it. Although I have Chrome installed on my computer, I've never used it.

(edited)

Iceweasel/firefox, looking into going dwb and elinks though.

I use Chrome because of the ease of backing up my settings and all the add-ons I can install(Adblock is a God-send).

as of Firefox 29, syncing is a lot like chrome's, just sign and sigh.

Who still uses Internet Explorer?

I use google chrome. Firefox started getting weird, even with ad-block plus on it.

And IE, I just want to uninstall it but I can't find it in my programs list on my PC. It randomly opens up once in a while with a spammy ad site.

I uninstalled my Internet Explorer and my whole desktop was gone, wiped clean.

I used to use Internet Explorer as far back as version 5 (not sure if that's the version that comes preinstalled with Windows XP based computers) and stopped using it a few months after I "upgraded" to IE8. Due to all the bugs, glitches and errors that IE8 had, I decided to move to Chrome. I have changed my mind about using Chrome but only once. And I was using Firefox when I decided to switch from Chrome but then after my old computer stopped working properly, I switched back to Chrome because it was the only good browser on the computer I borrowed during the time that my old computer broke. I have also continued using Chrome and I can't imagine I'll ever change browser until Chrome ends up down the same road as IE. Which I doubt will happen considering just who Google are

Chrome, been using it for years now. I used IE prior to this, at first I was far too stubborn to switch, but I got sick of the crashing and eventually went looking for another browser. Firefox was my first choice since I've used it before, but someone recommended Chrome so I checked it out. :squee:

Usually Google Chrome, and Interet Explorere as back up.
Although I must admit that Chrome is crashing a lot on my new windows 8 computer...It starts to annoy me so there is a lot of chance I'll use IE again as primary browser.

Well, you could always develop as you want it and put a detection code for certain browsers. If the user is using a outdated version on IE, you can load a piece of code that will make the website work to that specific version, or just pop a popup saying that version of IE isn't supported.

Have you never seen stuff like (if browser == IE.7.1.0042 then) on the source code of pages?

I use Google Chrome almost all the time, it's my favorite browser by far. In the rare situations in which I need to use a different browser, I usually turn to Firefox or occasionally Internet Explorer.

I'm a Google Chrome user. If it's Google I'll util(use it) :P. Unfortunately, I used to use the Google Earth Flight Simulator and Chrome no longer allows third-party addons _-_ . That's just one anti-perk.

Google Chrome. It's simple, fast, and easy to install add-ons. Looking at you, Internet Explorer :okiedokielokie:

Chrome. Despite it's rather heavy resource consumption, it's a well designed, user friendly browser. (Kinda sad that i still managed to accidently sync with my friends' school project account... they noticed my browsing history, LOL).
