What is your favorite game of all time? There are so many games that it makes me wonder what games people like the most. I personally like horror/survival games like bioshock 2 or dead space 2 (My favorite games) So i want to know what your favorite game is.

My favorite game of all time just recently changed.  For 7 years straight my favorite game was Heroscape.  Just recently I got to play the new game Mage Wars which finally pushed Heroscape into 2nd place.

 

You asked favorite game but them mentioned video games.  Probably my favorite Video game of all time is Heroes of Might and Magic 3, even though I haven't played it in 2 years.  My computer now won't run it because the game is too old.  I also have the new Kings Bounty games that are really good and might become my favorite games of all time once I get to playing them more.

 

Anyway it is hard to rate Video games as well as Table-top games, they just aren't the same.  I'd have to say all of my top 10 games are probably Table-top games.

Morrowind.

This game made my childhood and it has become my benchmark for any RPG I buy. So far only Skyrim and Mass Effect 2 have ever managed to get close to the joy and satisfaction I got from this game. I remember being so proud when I %100 the game. Like everything. Needless to say I sunk quite a few hours into this game.

Probably Fallout 3. The funny thing is I can only play it in 30 minute intervals and with everything set to low at about 15 fps, and I still didn't stop trying to make it work. Didn't finish it yet, but it already blew my mind.

if I were to think of my fave game of all time period, it would have to be Deus Ex, as it was the most complex and non-linear that I've ever played; even after quite some years of playing it (not continuously, I sorta remember it after a while and decide to give it another go for nostalgic reasons and I play it from time to time in its entirety) I still find new stuff within it and new things about it that I didn't know before

 

since I didn't grow up with a gaming console, most of (if not all of) my fave games are PC games, and some other games I like include Silent Hill 2 (the only one in the series I played so far), Half Life and Opposing Force, some GTA games, mainly San Andreas and also some first person shooter games and fighting games

 

oh, and speaking of fighting games, I can't wait for Fighting Is Magic to be released, and I mainly hope it will be released

I'd probably have to say Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic. It had everything... amazing graphics for the time (I had to upgrade my graphics card for the sole purpose of playing it), great voice acting, awesome characters, and the story was just fantastic. It also opened my mind to the entire Expanded Universe of Star Wars, too, and almost redefined the term "RPG" to me. I still compare games to it, even now xD

If anyone's a Star Wars fan, and hasn't played it... do it. It was recently re-released on Steam too, so you don't have to worry about compatibility issues, either. Which is nice

Hmmm, it's got to be a tie between Crash Bandicoot 2: Cortex Strikes Back and Spyro 2: Ripto's Rage, they are such wonderful games with incredible music and backgrounds, plus those were the first two games i've ever played.

 

AS for fighting games, Street Fighter EX Plus Alpha. 'Nuff said.

I have to go with Skies of Arcadia: Legends. I can't really explain why beyond the fact that it's so incredibly nostalgic to me. When I first played it as a kid, it captivated me to the point where I couldn't stop playing it.

Final Fantasy Tactics

 

• I have played a full run of the game each summer without fail since 1999
• Have bougt each version of the game there is, even digital copies.
• Gone from lvl 1 to 99 then back to 1 and up again on my main team like 17 times.
• I just love this game so much I believed FF XII was a good game for 40 hours (almost dev team), then I realized it SUCKS.
• My love for this game made took by force the PSP of one of my best friends for three months to play cooperative and competitive missions with myself (no one wants to play with me)

And many other sad things. God I love you Final Fatasy Tactis

I am really fond of survival horror COOP games, they are really good. 
Like "Killing Floor" This one is my favorite. Anyone plays this game too? PM me :3 maybe we can play together =D
