I don't have a favorite of all time, because i have multiple favorites for each specific console ~

 

*Nintendo 64 - Super Mario 64'

 

*Gamecube - Luigi's Mansion (All time favorite Gamecube game)

 

*Playstation 2 - Grand Theft Auto: SanAndreas (All time favorite PS2 game)

 

*Xbox - Destroy All Humans! (All time favorite Xbox game)

 

*Xbox 360 - Bioshock (Favorite single-player game)

 

*PS3 - The Last of US (Played it at E3 and it was amazing)

 

*PC -  Grand Theft Auto IV (So much modding possibilities)

 

*Nintendo 3DS - Luigi's Mansion: Dark Moon (Also played it at E3) 

 

 

I thought about all of these from the top of my mind. If i was more patient, the list would have probably been slightly more different. And yes, i went to E3 2012.

 Final Fantasy X is my favorite game of all time. I just picked it up again on Monday. It's such a classic. Perfect game, in my opinion.

Are you gonna get the HD release when it finally comes out? Announced like two years ago... Get the lead out, Square-Enix!!!

 

I have lots of favorite games as well. Okami is probably my top fave though. Such a beautiful experience, even if Issun won't shut the buck up about the most obvious things. ><

I LOVED the Fallout series (not including BoS), since the original through New Vegas. My favorite was probably Fallout 3. I also love both Portal games, the Elder Scrolls series (although I only played Oblivion and Skyrim), and Dishonored. Minecraft and Amnesia are both near the top of my list somewhere too.

I love many games, making a top 10 is the hardest thing ever, but I have it clear in my mind what my all time favorite game it. Paper Mario TTYD, everything about this game is perfect for me. The story, the gameplay, the characters, the environments, the mechanics, the overworld, the sidequests, the bosses...the music...HOLY SHIT the MUSIC. Just sublime

The Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker.

 

Something about a Zelda game that looks like a cartoon wows me, I love it, every Zelda game made equals a beautiful soundtrack behind it. Can't wait for the Wii U remake.

I've got to say that Skyrim is one of the best games, with all the modding possibilities, though there are a lot of bugs so it kinda ruined their chances of getting a GOTY award.

Final Fantasy Tactics. 

 

Yup thats it, my game, its not the best game ever made, it may not be the best FF(yes it is and also the best Strategy RPG EVUR) but it as so many things inside, from the amazing game-play with endless posiblilities of custom yoyr characters to the deep dark and very human story that talked down serious topics like racism, human rights, betrayal,  corruption and even a direct attack to the Jew-christian church. All in a game from 1997, that was waaaaay advance for its time. I own one each version of each retail release for this game and will never regret that.

If ANY video game can be classified as art, it would be Okami. Between its epic storyline, incredible bosses, memorable characters, and literal art, I'd definitely say it's my fave.

FPS: Blacklight: Retribution

RPG: Any of the Fallout games

Action-Adventure: MGS series

RTS: Starcraft series (Haven't played 2 in a while)

Best Story: tie between mgs and the bioshock series

3rd person shooter: Spec Ops: The Line (gameplay is bland but the narrative is so good you'll actually feel depressed about your actions)

I liked the second one much better.

 

Honestly, I enjoy Bioshock 2 more and it made up with it with Minerva's Den. Plus I could go into a huge tangent on some of the game design elements that makes Bioshock 2 better than the first one. It's actually quite surprising how some people haven't noticed it even though I did and i'm not talking about dual wielding either.
