I want to know how many pastafarian bronys are out there! I'm a pastafarian and if you don't know what a pastafarian is, google it and/or read the book, "The Gospel of the Flying Spaghetti Monster" it's such a funny book that explains pastafarianism or fsmism as a whole. If you want, go to the website http://venganza.org

If there is a god, I think that it is so far beyond our perception and capacity for understanding that to dwell on it, let alone claim to understand it, is at best ornamental.

I was never touched by his noddly appendage. However long before I knew about pastafarianism, I found the artist that made the very famous image of the FSM, Arne Niklas Janesen. He made cool robot art...

Seeing as the entire concept is a comedic farce against faith systems, I object to its objectives. But it's still funny to look at.

This made me chuckle for sure, but no, I am not a Pastafarian. Maybe I'll become one though~ ;) *laughs*

If the Pastafarians were so great, why don't they have JESUS? That guy could turn water into wine. WATER. INTO. WINE.

Well actually while pastafarian's claim that there is the same amount of evidence, there really isn't.

You can never be too sure these days, I know it is a made up joke religion but all it takes is one crazy weird person to actually take the religion serious and get offended and then report me to mods or something. So that is why I added the you are either A B or C thing. I don't want to offend anypony.

How do you know that Spaghetti isn't an ancestral, subconscious memory that the FSM gave to some Italians a long time ago?

I've enjoyed it from the first time I saw the concept of the Flying Spaghetti Monster compared to the concept of God/a God.

That was back before it really exploded on the internet, though, and I actually thought the member that posted it was making up the concept themselves so I was like "Lol. Flying Spaghetti Monster... So random". It was that long ago. lol

You say that as if spaghetti isn't made by the Flying Spaghetti Monster in His image.

EDIT: Oops, beaten by Evilshy. lol. I don't know how I even missed that post. o.O

To all of you who think that pastafrianism is a joke: Of course it is, but it's a serious religion. From what I have learned pastafarians doesn't believe in the flying spagetti monster. The only thing that they want to say is that they think that all of the religions are really "stupid". They have many supernatural happenings in their stories. They think that their story is just as likely to have happened as, for example, the bible.

So they doesn't believe in their story. The only ones who do are trolls, they aren't true pastafarians (again, from what I've heard). The only message that they want to send is that religion can be really stupid or something like that :P

But maybe I'm wrong. I'm not an expert in the subject.

You're pretty accurate. The FSM was created as an argument for keeping Intelligent Design from being taught in school alongside evolution. It has, apparently taken on a life of it's own since those days.

I would not consider it a serious religion, but rather an anti-religious movement. Though I'm certain many people "join" more because they find it funny than due to any serious opinion for or against religion.

Nah. I'm not a Pastafarian. I'm an apasta or maybe even an anti-pasta.

I'm skeptical as to whether pasta even exists, and if it does, I think it's harmful because it exists.

I'll be writing some books on it soon. The Pasta Delusion and Pasta Is Not Great: How Italian Food Poisons Everything.

May you be touched by his noodly appendage this holiday season.

It is obvious that he is our creator, silly evolutionists.

Evolutionists and evolution have nothing to do with creation. Development, yes. Creation, no.

Silly Pastafarians.

See, it's threads like this that piss me off. Pasta? Seriously? Unbelievable.

One day soon, all will be made clear when the TRUE Lord of our universe returns to judge the unbelievers and reward those who were faithful to Her teachings. Blessed Be Her Hooves.

You, Miss Rarity, are exactly correct. I share the same thoughts as LMR, do I think some form of higher power, some sort of divinity, created the world? Yes, yes I do. But am I bullheaded enough not to believe that organisms evolve? No! What creator would make a organism that could not adapt and change with it's environment? I think god took into account everything when creating us, including adaptation and evolution.

DAMN i wish i had this shit for my class i took last semester! it was a writing course on opinion articles and editorials but our topic was support either creationism or evolution or debunk or support both. these would be hilarious examples to use in our class discussions. damn, 6 months late.
