Dusty Soul 2,614 September 6, 2012 Share September 6, 2012 (edited) Is there any kind of music that you can't get into, is it a particular song, or a particular artist? It can be anyone or any song. Just please respect other peoples opinions. I honestly can't get into country... It's not like I dislike it or anything I just find it hard to listen to. Twiliscael 3,962 September 6, 2012 Share September 6, 2012 Blood on the Dancefloor is a bastardization of music in my opinion. I can usually at least tolerate all kinds of music because it has some sort of creativity or skill put into it, but holy f@#$ that band is AWFUL. In my opinion, of course. You're free to have your own if you want... 8 I tend to take the high road, get stoned, and fly low . . .

Lost 1,411 September 6, 2012 Share September 6, 2012 Most stuff played on the radio these days just irritates the hell out of me. Also alot of the techno/house/dubstep crap is just not my thing, it was once but not for many a year now. + Dusty, you're spitfire avatar/siggy is slowly giving me more love to spitfire ;D My PC is even named Spitfire ^^ Your friendly neighborhood alcoholic motorcyclist Life is too short to worry what others think of you, be creative, be weird, live life. NeverNeverland 1,941 September 6, 2012 Share September 6, 2012 I can't, and will most likely never, get into dubstep. And I don't mean the shitty mainstream Skrillex dubstep - I mean all kinds of dubstep in general. I can handle other electronic genres fine (Hardcore and DnB especially). I wouldn't have put those two in the same category, because at least BOTDF is moronically funny. Idk Signature Credit Goes To Midnightive "Moon Prism Power Make Up!!!!!" Bari 7,024 September 6, 2012 Share September 6, 2012 I don't like Country. It's slow and annoying. I like music that doesn't make me feel like I'm dying. I need something to match my energy.

Well that's unfair because real dubstep IS Drum and Bass. When Dubstep was first emerging TEN years ago, It was good. I like the Wub nowadays, but it will never be true dubstep. Marshmallow 1,137 September 6, 2012 Share September 6, 2012 Dubstep. I just don't get it. It doesn't sound good at all to me. I really don't see what's the appeal and why it got really popular all of sudden:/ 1 "There was me, that is Pinkie, and my three droogs, that is Rarity, Rainbow, and Fluttershy, and we sat in the Ponyville Milkbar trying to make up our rassoodocks what to do with the evening." I like the Wub nowadays, but it will never be true dubstep. I guess that makes me a hypocrite. My main problem with dubstep is that is has a solid beat and a great buildup, but (please forgive me for saying this, it irks me more than you think) the drop is slow as all hell while trying to be energetic as well - which isn't a good mix. To me, slower mixes are better for soothing tracks and high tempo tracks are better for energetic ones. That's about as good as I can describe it. dood, dont u luv wen teh base goes wyb wub wub and wobbel wobbel wobbel n stuff. i liek it wen teh base drops, i thnk skrillex does it teh best! HEATHEN! As a Happy Hardcore fan, having a drop in a song is blasphemy, because they don't fit into the song, screwing up the tempo. But we are off topic. 1 Signature Credit Goes To Midnightive "Moon Prism Power Make Up!!!!!" Hail Feld0
Veiled Enigma 389 September 6, 2012 Share September 6, 2012 (edited) I just can't get into more hardcore Metal, like Black Metal and the sorts. I can appreciate the instrumentals, but the vocals just turn me off. I guess that makes me a hypocrite. If that's your peeve with Dubstep then I think Melodic/Liquid Dubstep is probably something you can appreciate more than other sub-genres. http-~~-//youtu.be/wXVQNSlFJ6M Edited September 6, 2012 by Veiled Enigma 1 "Pain Is our Teacher. SilverHeart 741 September 6, 2012 Share September 6, 2012 I can't stand dubstep or any kind of metal that heavily features screaming and/or growling. It literally gives me a headache to listen to music like. I don't actually have anything against those types of music...I just personally can't stand them. 1 Silver Heart, Lapis, Mirror Image-My OC Ponies. Signature by PixiGlow Are you bored? AegisReflector 887 September 6, 2012 Share September 6, 2012 HEY GUYS. IT'S THAT SONG WITH A MILLION PARODIES! I will never understand why this song gained a lot of fame like it did. It's just a typical pop song about......WHAT ELSE.....a young immature love song. It's probably because many of the OIympic teams did it.
Envy 6,529 September 6, 2012 Share September 6, 2012 Since others are posting genres, I have to say country and metal. Country just rubs me the wrong way, from the occasionally awful lyrics like "God Bless Texas" (*throws up in mouth*), to... Well, country just puts me in an bad mood. Some of it is depressing and can instantaneously ruin my mood. If it's not depressing, it's just annoying. I try to be open-minded but country I just can't stand. In regards to metal, I just don't like the screaming. It's just very unappealing to me. I won't hate on metal, I just don't listen to it. In regards to individual songs/bands. Although I listen to a lot of Classic Rock, there are two bands I do not care for: Led Zeppelin and Steve Miller Band. That's not to say I dislike every single song made by these bands (I really like Stairway to Heaven, actually), but in the end the vast majority of their songs I absolutely can not stand. Particularly, Steve Miller Band's "The Joker" and Led Zeppelin's "Whole Lotta Love". Mostly "The Joker" actually. That song is so bad and awkward it's embarrassing having to listen to it by myself (when it comes on the radio). =/ 1 Everything needs more woodwind! It's alright, but not the worst song in the whole wide world. It did become popular enough to be ponified. It is quite brilliantly made. Kazuki Fuse 534 September 6, 2012 Share September 6, 2012 Basically any electro genre (dubstep/dnb/house/whatever), I can't recall a single song from any genre like that ever "clicking" with me. Eh? Nandatte?
Regality 233 September 6, 2012 Share September 6, 2012 Well in terms of genres of music, I've never really been able to get into country or rap. However, I find it very hard to listen to most mainstream singers and bands of any type these days, as I consider most of it to be auto-tuned garbage. ~~
Viscra Maelstrom 3,719 September 6, 2012 Share September 6, 2012 the only thing of music in the world i've found out i CAN'T get into, physically, is goregrind. while i can tolerate the musical content, because i listen to my share of noisy stuff, i just can't stand the down-pitched growling. physically. if i listen to Last Days of Humanity, for example, and the growling comes in, my bowels feel like they are twisting around, starts hurting, and i need to get to the bathroom immediately. it's the only album from my audio collection i've ever needed to delete from it because of that very reason: it hurts my bowels when listening to it. i am not exaggerating, by the way. 2 Soundcloud---------Twitter---------Tumblr---------DeviantArt
Lolness The Hunt 39 September 6, 2012 Share September 6, 2012 So many dubstep haters. :/ I don't get it. Anyways, I haven't been able to listen to country and like it. I don't know why. I just can't. I also don't like the super mega hardcore grindcore metal (The one song of that genre I listened to is called "baby killers" or something stupid like that. It was bad. Very bad). I can listen to almost ever metal genre but that. Yorick walks into a bar. There is no counter.
