Well before I had ever watched the show I thought Rainbow Dash looked the coolest, but when I actually started watching the show I started to like Pinkie. Now my favorites are Pinkie and Fluttershy

i didnt like Pinkie Pie or Rarity at first, but they quickly grew on me. theyre still battling for second place in my favorites list, unable to dis-throne the mighty Fluttershy. im still not a Twilight fan, so that hasnt changed at all. i think its because her personality represents the archetype of the kind of girl that gets on my nerves in real life.

I started out really liking Rainbow Dash.

Then I switched to Fluttershy.

And now Rarity has grown on me.

Yes, I did do Stop Motion, and I was working on a stop motion project of Fluttershy's Lullaby (Just the Fluttershy part.) It was at some point in trying to create the clay Fluttershy that I lost interest in doing something that was a mimic of someone else's work, and realized I wanted to do my own work. Then life got to busy and I haven't done any since. Please message me if you'd like to see some of my old work that's pretty bad.

Niice! I animate with Lego. I find it a lot easier, but that's just me. I find claymations very creative at times, mostly because claymations are very hard to pull off correctly.

I used to be into Fluttershy quite a lot. She was the perfect pony at first. Our Fluttershy everypony knows and loves is quiet, soft, gentle and shy. Who couldn't love a pony like that? It wasn't until later that I realized that Pinkie Pie isn't just an annoying obnoxious pony...She's an awesome annoying obnoxious pony who knows how to PARTY. She's the most random pony out there, ever, and I love her for that. Sure, she's quite the opposite of Fluttershy, but she's too funny and random that I can't help but love her too! Of course, I still love Fluttershy, but I've taken much more of a Pinkie Pie stand since I came to the realization.

Yes, in fact, I have quite a lot, in the beginning, I was thinking Rainbow Dash, because I like pegasi and I liked her personallity the best.

Then I thought Pinkie Pie, because she reminds me of myself (still does).

And then I thought Twilight, because she seemed the most interesting to me.

BUT THEN I thought Fluttershy, because Idon'tevenknowwhy.

 

After that, it went Derpy, Colgate, Lyra, Spike, Applejack, Apple Bloom, Dr. Whooves and finally Sweetie Belle. Sweetie Belle's been my favourite for quite a while now, and she's probably going to stay as my favourite, 'cause she's best pony.

 

My mind is twisted, don't even try to find continuity through this ._.

I pretty much first liked Rainbow Dash very much. She's everything I kinda wanted to be, but later on somewhere half-way Season 1 it changed into Twilight Sparkle. I'm not quite sure why, though. It could be how Twilight was developed as a character. Rainbow Dash is still pretty close to being a fave too. She's still 20% cooler than the rest of them.

I was torn between RD, AJ and Twilight when I first started watching. Now, at season 3, Its still a tie between Applejack and Twilight. RD just kinda fell to the side. I guess its because Applejack and Twilight are pretty much me if you rolled them up into one.

I don't even know anymore honestly . I mean I pretty much consider Fluttershy my favorite because shes adorable and because I tend to be so shy(I've gotten better, but I'm still quite shy. Anyways another story.)

However I also have started to like twilight for somereason to. Shes firmly placed second. However I can't really say my favorite has changed, because technically the first time I saw MLP was the clip from "Stare master" And one of my friends had Fluttershy as a skype icon actually. So she was technically the first one I noticed, and therefore shes pretty much stayed my favorite.

It all started with Dash being my favorite, and then it quickly transferred over to Fluttershy not even halfway through season 1. She's held her #1 spot for a while, but the #2 is a dead tie for Pinkie and Rarity. It's considered blasphemy to my circle of friends, but Pinkie's actually very very slowly creeping up to Fluttershy. <.<

When I first began watching the show, I took a liking towards Rainbow Dash mostly because she seemed to be the fan favorite of everybody else and had some qualities about her that I liked. After re-watching all the episodes several times I realized how great of a character that Twilight is and how much I can relate to her.

 

Also, the writers started making Rainbow Dash act alot more bitchy :/

Thats a hard question to answer, Fluttershy was the pony who i thought and still think is the most adorable pony alive ha, but then The Great and Powerful Trixie came into my life and i was like this mare is super Hilarious ha, and such a smartflank, Then Pinkie Pie and her braking the Fourth Wall and Punny Funs, always made me laugh, and Now Babs Seed, Her voice is just the most funniest, cutest thing ever. When I first started watching the show my favorite pony was AJ, but once I watched Sonic Rainboom I became a Rainbow Dash fan and never looked back.

Fluttershy has always been my #1, and I don't see that changing anytime soon. However, my rankings of the others have changed over time. For example, Rarity used to be dead last in my mind, and she now is just ahead of Rainbow Dash and just behind Twilight Sparkle, making her #3 overall. This is mainly due to the way her character was not explored very well in earlier episodes, making her seem very shallow, condescending and holier-than-thou. She still is a bit of a priss, but she's also shown to be compassionate and caring for her friends, bumping up her position considerably.

 

Likewise, Rainbow Dash used to be higher up, but my opinion of her has fallen considerably. I feel like she showed her element of loyalty much more often earlier in the series, and as it has progressed, she has become more self-serving and less concerned with her friends well being, sometimes being just plain cold-hearted.
