What's your favorite part of the fandom?

Hey there everyone, I've been thinking a lot lately about our fandom. There is so much to enjoy here! I've even been trying to decide what my favorite part of it all is.. So I decided to make this topic for all of you!

What is your favorite part of the fandom, and why?

Art?

Music?

Roleplaying?

Fan-Fiction?

The community? [Other Bronies/Pegasisters/friends]

What part of the fandom do you like the MOST!?



After everything I've experienced through this community, I guess I'd have to say I really enough the community as a whole, While there is so many interesting people with so many idea's and opinions. I'd like them all to express them. I've even made a very few friends which I really hold dear to myself.

Brony music is alot better than mainstream stuff. It has allowed people with talent to really shine. The art is also great. I guess im getting into RP and such not entirely familiar with how it works here.

I would also say my favourite part of the fandom is the community as a whole. Everyone is always really kind and understanding, and I love how everyone is accepted for who they are.

I like pretty much everything, the art, music, fanfics and of course the community that makes it all possible. It is a great show and a great fandom and I am glad to be a part of it.

The community is the greatest part of this hooves down. With out the community we wouldn't have all of the fan-art, fanfiction, or music that comes out of it!

 

Also this is one of the most welcoming and friendly communities I have ever seen!!!

I really, really like the fanfiction community. It's huge and varied, and there are a ton of talented people contributing to it! It makes submitting work a little intimidating, but then there's the other thing-- I love the community. A majority of people who like ponies are really polite and friendly. :3 So it's only a little intimidating to post.

I cannot choose between the community and the music. 

 

The community is my home. I go to MLP Forums everyday because everybody is respectful and fun to talk to.

 

The music is just fantastic. I mean, seriously. Listen to OdysseyEurobeat, Acoustic/MandoBrony, and DPB and you'll understand.

i have to choose the music. its all i ever listen to anymore. my favorite song that i listen to is loyalty by AcousticBrony & MandoPony

i listen to a lot of other songs to but this is by far my favorite.

 I'm not a big fan of shipping, fanfiction, fanatics, etc.

 

Also, I'd say the most impressive part is the fan art. Some of the art just blows me away.

Hmm... that's actually quite surprisingly hard to choose. 

 

... As much as I'd like to say community, I'm gonna go and say "Art" because I like seeing all kinds of pictures fans can create, even though at the same time... they make feel sad because all of the beautiful pictures I see are proof that I can never reach that same level. Still, it's my favorite part in the fandom.

 

Roleplaying has also interested me quite a bit after being in three other (Non-MLP) ones in the past, but in this fandom I fear I wouldn't be able to keep up with everyone else.

I haven't had any experience in roleplaying, so I can't really say anything about it.

 

As for the art, literature, music, and overall community, it's excellent, and I can't decide a particular part that I like more than the rest.

I'd have to say the fanfiction. Some fanfics are so great, they could be perceived as an episode in terms of story and characters.

I love the community, of course! First, it's sort of the cheating answer, since it covers everything else, but the forums and stuff are simply awesome. Of the individual communities, I'd like to make a shoutout to my fellow bronies in the PMV community! Almost every single PMV maker I have talked to has been friendly and happy to give and receive feedback, plus PMVs are just awesome.

For me it's a tie between the community and fan animation.  I guess that counts as "art".  I love some of the stuff on youtube by Mr. Broniator, the pony.mov videos, and the guys who did Epic Cupcake Time and Epic Pie time. 

 

As for the community, I feel like MLPforums at least is a really vast but welcoming and fun environment.  Which is why I've stuck around.

Music and Art are virtually tied for me with a nod to the former. The creativity, the volume, and the variety of what we put out is just stunning to say the least.

Hard to choose. I love the community on its own level, because without the community, many of the art mediums and such wouldn't be as prevalent and well-done as they are. So first and foremost, the community.

 

After that, I enjoy the music a lot. No other fandom has as much fan music of high quality as we do. Other fandoms have the fanfics and art in tons like we do, but none of them have this much music, around the clock. I then appreciate fanfics because I love to write them, and then the fan art, because I love to traverse DeviantART and just look at all the art pieces. It's a never ending forest :3 I find fields of new stuff every day.

Community, I can find bronies almost everywhere (either it be in certain online games, forums, etc.) and when you meet them for the first time..
