Not really my thing. Unless I was going with very close friends who understand that I don't drink or dance with strangers. I do have friends who are DJs but I would go to their parties for DDR than anything.

I've never been but even though I do like club music (though anything can be "club" music at this point, depends on the audience) it seems very socially draining for me and I'd be done after 5 minutes

No. I hate parties and crowds frankly, such exhausting environments. Plus clubbing and not drinking don’t really mix, just like me and drinking don’t mix anymore.

A whole decade later and I still don't know what it even means.

When I try to think of what it might be, I picture a bar, loud music, drinking, dancing. That's just not me. I don't like alcohol and I don't like loud places.

Although... that kinda sounds like when I went to see Streetlight Manifesto back in 2011, I suppose it might have been in a "club", but it was a concert, not just some random gathering of people dancing and drinking. And I went for the concert, not any of that other stuff. lol. I had ear plugs in and didn't drink at all.

I have tried many times to enjoy clubbing because of peer preassure and never liked it. I enjoy spending time in a small group of people in a cosy envoironment such as house or student house.

No, this is simply not my thing.

I don't like alcohol and large noisy environments. I have been to bars to celebrate some events for friends, but I don't really drink.

I recall one instance where I was going through a rough patch after a breakup many years ago, where I went to a gay bar for a friend's party, and several people were hitting on me

I'm average looking at best, but I remember that instance bringing my confidence back up at the time as I realized perspective was up to me.
