Say Something Nice About Your Least Favorite Episode(s)

Many of us have a least favorite episode. A lot of you may say it's Mysterious Mare Do Well. Some of you may say Lesson Zero, or maybe even Sleepless In Ponyville. Whatever your least favorite episode is, there has to be at least say one thing nice about it. I'll start:

 

Boast Busters: Trixie is amazing!

 

Spike At Your Service: Pinkie Pie, Fluttershy, and Rainbow Dash have adorable moments.

 

Games Ponies Play: It had some pretty funny jokes.

Magical Mystery Cure: I wanted to kill myself. 

                                    I liked the songs on it.

                                    It made me throw my TV remote and it fell under my dresser, which i ended up finding $5 under it.

Owl's Well That Ends Well: The dragon was cool looking, and Twilight got a useful pet.

Spike At Your Service: Watching Spike being very useless and being a doofus was pretty hilarious to me and overall a very funny episode.

Griffon the Brush Off: Overall it was a pretty decent episode with a good message the problem of course that it was the WRONG MESSAGE which ruined the episode for me. As I have said before on other occasions Gilda acted like a jerk but so did Pinkie Pie by acting like a creepy stalker with jealousy issues. If I had to be completely honest if I was Gilda I would have beat the hell out of Pinkie Pie and Pinkie Pie was my second favorite pony when I first watched that episode and is now my third favorite. And just because Gilda didn't play nice with Pinkie Pie dosen't make her a "false friend", yes there are false friends and I have dealt first hand with them in middle school and high school but I don't think Gilda fits this category.

 

Spike at Your Service: Applejack had a strong showing in this episode, but then again what episode that focuses on Applejack dosen't? Now if only Spike had a bit of a stronger showing in this episode then it would have been an excellent episode.

 

Magical Mystery Cure: I guess it is still too soon to tell if Twilight has been Mare E Sued yet so I can call that at least a good thing and it might be interesting to watch after smoking a bit of reefer.

The Mysterious Mare Do Well: The costume looked cool, liked the superhero references, the opening with the fanclub was adorable, The sad Rainbow Dash scene when she wonders why she's all alone was sad, but adorable

Hearth's Warming Eve: It was fun learning about Equestrian History

Mmmmmystery of the Friendship Express: Detective Twilight!

Boast Busters: I liked the Ursa Major, Trixie was amusing

This is the thread where I get to watch everybody else saying what they liked about The Mysterious Mare Do Well. I enjoy this.

 

Dragonshy: It... provides some good PMV material?

 

Swarm Of The Century: It ends on a hilariously grim note for MLP

 

Feeling Pinkie Keen: It has a good moral (I'm serious)

 

Over A Barrel: Pinkie's song was pretty funny

 

A Bird In The Hoof: Celestia and Twilight were top notch

 

The Cutie Pox: "Mah sister's speakin' in fancy!"

 

Dragon Quest: The beginning and the very end

 

Magic Duel: The opening was atmospheric

 

Games Ponies Play: It had the Just For Sidekicks cameos (Translation: it reminded me of better episodes)

The Crystal Empire Part Two:

 

Had a lot of good humor and I liked the Success Song a lot. Plus, Spike Super Hero Save the Day Swag Time.

Hm, that's pretty easy, since I don't really hate my least favorite episodes, I just don't go out of my way to see them again.

It's About Time- solid Twilight is just too cool(despite coming off as brony fanservice in a way), and the disaster proofing montage is oddly enjoyable. Also, madam Pinkie, cute.

Hearts and Hooves Day- nice song, plus Big Mac's strength is just awe inspiring in this one.

Too Many Pinkie Pies- the first half is pretty good, with Rarity's awesome dress and some funny Fluttershy lines. Plus it was written by Dave Polsky, who writes mostly awesome episodes, this one just happens to kind of fall apart in the second half imo.

Same here! I know a lot of people have episodes that they really dislike heavily, but I don't really hate any episode. In fact, I had trouble choosing The Crystal Empire Part Two as my least favorite.

Magical Mystery Cure: As many others have mentioned, some of the songs were pretty good.

 

Mysterious Mare-do-Well: It introduced Merriwether Williams, who would later write Hearth's Warming Eve and Wonderbolt Academy. I forgive her for one unwatchable episode.

 

Show Stoppers: Sweetie Belle confirmed as a singer.

 

Games Ponies Play: Continuity, the writers are experimenting with it.

 

Boast Busters: Without it, there would be no Magic Duel.

 

Hearts and Hooves Day: I can finally bathe in the tears of shippers whose pairings were destroyed by this episode!

Spike at Your Service - We got that scene where Spike tickles Applejack in an almost sexual way. I need a gif of that...

 

The Crystal Empire - Shining Armour throws his wife. Sombra becomes the first ever MLP villain to actually die. (Yes, they confirmed it. He really is dead)

 

PS I'm having a hard time thinking of S1+2 episodes that I didn't like. To people saying Mare Do Well, I thought that episode was awesome! Applejack got to be a superhero for a day!

This is rather hard because I don't dislike any episode.  The only one I like a little less then the others was Spike at Your Service.  The redeeming factor to that episode was the design of the timberwolves.

The Crystal Empire: Good songs, and the Cyrstal Heart was revealed. Plus, this is the perfect thing to reference if a hater says MLP is babyish.

"Look before you sleep" was my least favorite episode. I suppose the good part about it was the fact that it has a cool theme song, just like all the other episodes, I just really didn't like that episode. I'm interested to see what people are saying about their least favorite episode, cool.

Well, here goes:

Keep Calm and Flutter On- I loved it when the fish bream bowl thing attacks Rarity- "Not the dress!  NOT THE DRESS!"

 

Spike at Your Service- Rarity teaching Applejack how to act like a proper Damsel in Distress. 

 

Of course, even in the worst episodes, Rarity is still awesome.

 

Actually, a bit more on Keep Calm and Flutter On- I thought the humor in that one really worked in general, and I liked the idea of the Odd COuple pairing between Discord and Fluttershy.  Just that I felt that the setup was inherently flawed, and the main storyline wasn't properly executed.

I think my least favorite episode might be "Bridle Gossip," just because I don't like seeing all of the ponies being depicted as judgmental and prejudice.  But the episode does have a lot of good aspects: the curses, particularly Fluttershy's voice, Spike's nicknames, Pinkie Pie's song, Applebloom's role in the story, the introduction of Zecora, and I am sure there are other things that I can't think of right now.
