thank you very much- luna . next to rainbowdash, derp and lyra, is my ultamate favorite pony. i wanted to draw her, but in a way that i could really set ourt emotion that other ponies coukld see and feel when they look at this drawing- i started with multiple preliminary sketches until i found one that really  screamed heart tearing mind blowing idea here! then i began to draw- i put everything i felt and had been feeling into her- in a way i saw myself in her when i watched the episodes- i really just put everything i had into this.

That's still the most amazing part of all i think. How much detail and life you created from just one shade, one colour of graphite. Its simply astounding.

Well don't try to replicate your own work or duplicate its sucess then! Obviously just randomly drawing whatever you feel at the time creates masterpieces of its own!

ive been doodling all my life- i didn't get serious with it until about maybe two years ago- but i wasn't taught anything- basics i learned by watching others and replicating the art i wanted

Absolutely a phenomenal piece of work.  The mane and tail are done with such detail and fluidity and the shading is quite lovely.  You deserve every bit of praise for this one and I hope to see more, as you have gained a fan in me.
