As I read this thread, it just proves furthermore how much favortising is a problem on this site. So, I'll be upfront.

 

I'm not "Famous" but I don't have any desire to be famous. I just focus on being what I am, and the people who accept me for it is all I need. "Fame" should never be a goal on a community social network site like this. It should be about meeting new people and making friends, especially with a community like the Brony fandom.

 

You don't need to be famous on a site like this. You just need to focus on making friends and conversing with them. That's what social media is meant for, isn't it? If that's not what you've come here for, what's the point of staying? I always love meeting new people, and I'll treat them with the same amount of respect as I would with a more popular member. I don't care if you're not Sir. Flutter Hooves. I don't care if you're not Dsanders. I don't care if you aren't Pink Mist. They're all my friends, but I won't treat you any different from them.

 

Fame? Who needs it? When you have friends, that's really all you need.

I'm very famous, from the looks of it. But I can sometimes throw people off my trail by changing my username for a while, or maybe I can physically pick them up and throw them off a trail. It depends on the circumstances.

It's true though. I have been on here for probably a year now and can't exactly think of many members on here that I'd consider forum famous. Especially compared to other forums I'm on.
