does a set of all sets contain itself :3

Uh, well, it has all sets in it, so of course it contains itself.

I think you worded that wrong.

"Does a set that contains all sets that don't contain themselves contain itself?"

Once 50 votes are in, I'll tell you guys what my friends said after seeing the results.

anyone know any good paradoxes?

Post them here!

Ill get you guys stared with 3

THIS SENTENCE IS FALSE

If satan is a bad person, but punished bad people, doesn't that make him a good person?

Could chuck norris create a rock so heavy that he himself couldn't carry?

>Um... True, I'll go with true. That was easy.

>Two wrongs don't make a right.

>Yes. And he could still carry it. Think about it.

So yeah, those ain't real paradoxes.

Now here is a real paradox.

Well, he wasn't the one who killed 2,391,421 people in the Bible.

Chuck Norris can't create rocks.

If a crocodile steals a child and promises its return if the father can correctly guess what the crocodile will do, how should the crocodile respond in the case that the father guesses that the child will not be returned?

Which came first, the chicken or the egg?

>Two wrongs don't make a right.

But three rights make a left.

Just wondering, why are there so many versions of Russell's Paradox?

Oh, one last thing.

------------------------------------------------------

A guy heads into a court room, and the judge is waiting for him.

"If you tell me only the truth, I shall sentence you to 4 years of prison. If you lie, I shall sentence you to 8 years of prison," the judge said.

The man considers his options. He can either testify against himself, or he can lie and spend 8 years doing jail time. After a long moment of thought, the man regains his mind and composure. He stands up, ready to make his final statement regarding his trial.

"Judge, you will sentence me to 8 years of prison."

The judge considers what he can do now. After much careful consideration, the judge takes his decision, and in the end, he sets the man free.

------------------------------------------------------

Think about THAT one.
