My favorite hero/PC is Gordon Freeman from the Half-Life series. He's epic and you know it.

My favorite NPC/sidekick is Wheatley. From the same universe, he appears in Portal 2. He's adorkable <3

 

Annnddd...favorite villain is either Bowser or GLaDOS (or does Wheatley still count here?).

 

I also love the Bulbasaur line, both Scouts, and Zee Tee from Eversion.

Right now, it'd have to be Ike from Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance and Radiant Dawn. Throughout the two games his character gets progressively more capable and awesome. I enjoy his confidence, very inspiring~

Beautiful, strong, dependable, understanding, and loving. She's a great character. I have no clue why people were so fixated with Aerith, who was more 2 dimensional than a sheet of paper. I guess getting murdered worked to her advantage.
