I am quite pleased with how this turned out. Aside from the fact that the newly sharpened pencil was cutting through the paper at times.

Thanks for the complements, guys. Means a lot to hear that my doodles are enjoyed by someone.

 

Learning the ropes with Paint Tool SAI to get the vector done. Hopefully it won't turn out too bad.

The expressions sell it. I mean, let's face it, Dash's dad is just jealous that she gets to have gooey, sticky, delicious, stretchy, greasy pizza while he's stuck with some frozen corndogs he bought at the corner store.

 

Once again, Citrus, a work of art worthy of an artist of your caliber. Surely Dash's pizza eating at a young age helped her become the excellent and rotund mare we know and love today.

And can I just say that making a circle in Paint Tool SAI is the worst thing ever. And I usually say that about everything that I find difficult, but I'm dead frigging serious, it's impossible. If you know anybody who uses that program, pray for them, because they have PTSD.

 

I may send a spruced up version for submission to EQD, depending on the response.

Citrus, I cannot express my delight in seeing this new and improved pizza-eating, dad-disapproval Rainbow Dash picture. It's simply... beautiful. The way the freshly-disturbed sauce rests on Dash's face is simply breath-taking, her father's look of slight-disapproval is improved ten-fold now that color has brought him to life.
