Real life: There's this girl whose name shall remain anonymous who was one of my best friends early on in high school. She disappeared completely and transferred schools 'cause she was going through a terrible time with people bullying her. :( But she's going to the same university as me and I'm starting to develop a crush now that we're friends again...

IRL: I have some crushes in Wind Ensemble.

 

...Probably not for the best. >.< I'm several years older than them, now, probably. The ship left me behind. =( Even going back to college, there's still no hope...

 

I don't form crushes online, by the way. There have only been a few exceptions, two of them over a decade ago. One of them coming about ONLY because the individual is connected to someone I know IRL.

 

And pony crushes? I don't like horses.

My feel feels are kind of dead at the moment but I've still managed to find someone cool to look at again. Now that I'm forced to get over the strongest crush I've had in forever. I think I could say I got crushed by a crush!

 

Spoilers for random rambling about crushes.  :please:  A small wall of text ahead.

 

Now that I actually think about it, it could be that my crushes aren't literally crushes. Meaning like romantic ones. I've always known that I'm not much of a romantic anywhere else than in my own fantasy world - which means I might like the idea of dating there, but the real life deal doesn't exactly attract. Not yet anyways.

But since I've still managed to catch some feelings for some people occasionally, I don't really know what to think. Do I want them to see me as a potential partner or don't I want that? Hard to say. Every time someone begins to show signs of returning the feelings, it's most usually my time to flee. Flee because the idea of a relationship suddenly starts to feel so super wrong. I still have no idea where that comes from but it still happens. That's why I've started to question the logic behind my "crushes". Right now I'm thinking of them as nothing more but as willingness to impress. Or an extreme desire to befriend that certain person and praise them at any given moment.
