Anyone Here Not Have A Favorite Pony?

I think that it's perfectly normal to be unable to choose a favorite pony. Choosing a best pony is kind of like choosing your favorite child, it's almost near impossible for many.

 

Rainbow Dash has always been my favorite pony ever since I got into the show in early 2012. Have my feelings about her changed over the years? Yes, but that isn't enough to knock her off of my personal best pony pedestal. 

 

It's fine to not have a single favorite pony. In fact, I like people who can't decide and just go with the generic answer that "EVERYPONY IS BEST PONY"!!!!!!!!! (Because it is so very true  ).

I seem to alternate between Twilight, Pinkie, and Rarity. Pinkie and Rarity are nothing like me, and originally I didn't like either of them. Now I can't decide which one I like the most.

Yeah I've had this problem, pretty much why I can't participate in discussions that involve the phrase "your favorite pony", which are alot. Each character seems interesting to me each day for different reasons. By finding something to like in all of them, I cannot fully connect with any of them.

Yes. This is why I designate between favorite mane 6 and other groups. If I had to pick just one... I'd be stuck in an eternal internal struggle between Trixie and AJ.

 

Mine probably really is AJ though. I mean, we're nearly one and the same, and I have many times said she would be the absolute ideal girlfriend in my opinion. I just love everything about her personality and morals so much. I also get so annoyed when I see people type her name as AppleJack or Apple Jack. That could just be my selective OCD kicking in though.   doubt it

 

Trixie and I have very little in common on the other hand though. I just like her because she is fun and I imagine she has a lot of depth lurking behind that facade she puts on. She reminds me of how I roleplay characters now and then, it's fun to be nothing like yourself at times.

I usually say Fluttershy is my favorite pony simply because I identify with her. When it comes to picking favorite characters though, I do find it to be a challenge. They each have merits and flaws, and picking a single "best pony" is near impossible, so in that sense, everypony is best pony.

Eh. They're all lovable characters in their own way, but I honestly think there's a pony for everyone People usually relate to their best pony, or, at least, are like them in some ways. Seriously, go dig through the Rarity any of the fan clubs and tell me you don't see a bit of their best ponies in the words they say

Me, personalty I love many ponies. I really like Princess Celestia, along with Princess Luna, Rainbow Dash, Twilight, and others.

I like each ones style and I don't "hate" any of them, each person is uniquely different and I like how the show represents that.

 

I like all of the mane 6, Princess Celestia and Luna. I like how much wisdom is packed into the main princesses, but I still think luna should be expanded upon a bit more.

 

I love how they made Rainbow Dash one of those "Awesome Cool Kids" but I love even more that she will cut the act to protect her friends.

 

I love how Rarity is so genuinely creative in both fashion and generosity

 

I love how Twilight Sparkle keeps her friends together with her wisdom and her leadership skills

 

I love how Applejack is always so Honest about everything, and the way she would risk everything to ensure the safety of her friends.

 

I love how Pinkie Pie defiantly laughs at the face of danger, how, even with a troubled past, she has managed to find strength in looking at the light of things when darkness looms all around her, I love her ideas and how she manages to save the day when everyone has tried just about anything.

 

I love how Fluttershy is so kind to everything and anything, How she stands up for her friends without using violence, and without forsaking any compassion or respect for the attacker at the same time.

Nope, I have decided for a long time that Rainbow Dashie is my favorite pony, though I actually LOVE all of the mane 6, just Dashie stands out the most for me personally!

I thought my favorite was Rainbow Dash, but then I ended up liking Rarity more (I'm a sucker for elegant classy dames). Then, after watching Smile HD, I ended up liking Fluttershy more. I guess it's true what they say, "One does not simply pick a best pony".

Anyways, I guess I know what you're saying, kind of.

 

When I first became a Brony, I switched favorite ponies like I do socks.

 

Literally, I switched twice like every day. xD

 

I finally tried to settle on one for a short time.

 

But of course, it switched again.

 

I never really had an "official" favorite pony until the Season 3 finale.

 

That's when I was sure that Twilight Sparkle was my favorite pony.

 

Then Equestria Girls made me like a thousand times more sure xD

 

I did switch to Fluttershy for about a week...

 

But she's always been my true favorite, Twilight Sparkle. ^^

 

It just takes time, I guess. ^^"

Twilight Sparkle, Rarity, Princess Celestia, Octavia, and Pinkamena all like to take turns as my favorite pony. My current one is probably Twilight but Rarity really likes going back to that #1 spot. 

 

She's such a cutie though so I doubt she'll be switched out any time soon:

Alright, I admit. I can't yell "X IS BEST PONY" because I really have none. Applejack is the best of the mane 6 imo, while Vinyl Scratch is the best background pony for her unique design.

 

The thing is, everypony have their flaws and you might like some pony just as much as another one. There really isn't such thing as perfection, you only have something good.

 

Nothing in existence is perfect.

It has varied for me before, I admit.  I liked Twilight the most at first (by far the most relatable), but then Fluttershy became my favorite (funniest and cutest).  As my avatar demonstrates, TS is my favorite again.  However, I'm starting to like Rainbow Dash more now (I used to hate Rainbow Dash).

FlutterShy: awesome character and are adorable, shares some of my personal likings

Apple Jack: the one that is most like me in real life, honest and loyal to her friends and family
 

Vinyl Scratch: has awesome design, is a icon for some of the music from the fanbase

Octavia: has also an awesome design its adorable

Luna: speaks to me in some way i really cant explain shes so mysterious, she reminds me of some parts of my past

i could go on and on but im to lazy to do that so i take the big "issues" so to say for not being able to pick one

I used to not have a favourite pony either and just liked all of them, couldn’t decide from one episode to the next. I remember I was going to do a topic on it like this one to, but when it came round to it I’d decided on Scootaloo, and no other pony had quite taken her place and all, nore so since then so couldn’t really do the topic anymore because I could decide on my faverite.

I can't really find a single pony I like above ALL others.

I have some ponies that I prefer, based on groups or appearance pairs (Luna > Celestia/ Lyra >Bon Bon/ Sweetie Belle > rest of CMC), but I can't pick one pony above EVERY pony.

It's like shopping for ingredients for a fruit salad: you might like a ripe, crisp apple over a weird, gnarled, rotten apple (not that any ponies are actually like a rotten apple) and choosing one brand of blueberries over another, but when it comes down to the actual salad making, you can't just eat one type of fruit and call it a fruit salad!

I can safely say that I do not have one definite 'favorite pony,' as each of them exhibit a trait or aspect that I admire and respect.  When I first became a fan of the show, Rainbow Dash was hands down my favorite for athletic and bold nature as well as her overall character design.  Then, as time went by and each character grew, I began to favor them instead of just one.  I think my little sister put it best when I asked her who here favorite pony was and her simple answer was an enthusiastic "All of them!"

My current favorite keeps shifting between Rarity and Pinkie Pie. I used to not be too keen on Pinkie, I thought her always hyper nature was annoying, but I've learned to love her personality. How can anyone not like a perpetually happy pony who likes to party hard and help others have fun as well?

 

Then of course, there's my old standby, Rainbow Dash. She's the friggin element of LOYALTY, and she's so awesome. But I find I relate more to Rarity, while Pinkie Pie could break me out of my shell.

I would lie if I said I didn't have a favorite pony. It is part of the MLP franchise to have a favorite. I don't see a problem in having multiple favorites, and switching between them from time to time

I cannot relate there. Rainbow Dashie has always been and always will be, my favorite. Applejack is a very close second.
