Season 4 Opening

Now I want to hear Twilight rapping about how she grew wings! That would be a great opening!

Specific changes to the Season 4 intro:

 

- At the "sharing kindness" part of the song, you can clearly see Discord looking out the window of Fluttershy's cottage

- At the very end, Luna is reading the letter alongside Celestia

- The letter itself of course has most of the supporting cast alongside the mane 6

 

I'm sure somebody will do a side by side comparison video soon enough.  There are probably other things I missed.

I actually really liked the new opening, it didn't have huge changes, but in the part where Fluttershy says "sharing kindness"  you see Discord in her window xD He be creepin'!

- The group photo is taken by Photo Finish.  It now includes Mayor Mare, Mr. & Mrs. Cake, the CMC, Big Mac, Granny Smith, Zecora, Snips and Snails

 

- The Hub doesn't broadcast in HD where I am, so I still can't tell if Twilight has wings during the part where she jumps out of the balloon gondola.  The first time you can clearly see them is when she spreads them at the "magic makes it all complete" lyric

In my opinion, the season 4 opening is improved now because more ponies are in the intro. Luna was added and a bunch of others were too which make the fans of those ponies happy 

 

Plus. The more ponies the better XD

Despite much evidence to the contrary of already-posted images and GIFS within the preview topic, I believe DHX has posted these as ruses. Their true intentions lie in making the greatest pop culture reference yet, in form of their premiere episodes' unique new introduction.

 

If only...

 

Maybe somebody can make this into a fan animation of some sort.. I would laugh so hard xD.

Hey, I've heard that the intro was changed, but haven't had the chance to see it yet.  Can anypony give me a link or something?  While we're on the topic, what are your thoughts on the changes to the intro?

It's really not all that different, just a few minor changes. Nonetheless, it is cool to see it updated.

I thought that although the changes were small, it was nice to have a change, I especially liked how Luna was put into the reading of the letter part. At first I was suprised that for most of the theme Twily didn't have wings, then I remembered that it was a flashback of her arriving in Ponyville.

I didn't That's awesome. This is my first time seeing it, as the Youtube upload I watched cut out the intro for some silly reason. And, I would assume so. He had an even bigger role, with much more screen time than I had ever imagined he would, from the previews. Something I was ecstatic to see. I don't doubt he'll be showing up a few more times.

 

 

John and Megan both confirmed he's going to be singing this season, so he at least has one more episode.
