Griffons *Rainbow Falls* Spoilers duh.

Was anyone glad to see the Griffon team in Rainbow Falls? I was, it shows Ponies will allow other species to play in the games.

 

Granted, we still have little to no knowledge on the Griffon's culture, only fan fiction theories for that.

I'm not surprised to see the griffons. It is the Equestria GAmes after all, meaning that all species in Equestria could try out. What I am surprised about is that they qualified, meaning we'll see more. What I'm more surprsed about is that we didn't see Gilda, who I thought would have been there. But hey, we can still see her.

That blew my mind and was very happy to see it, I was leaping for joy at all sorts of characters that made back an appearence when I thought or didn't expect them to have any impact. For instance I was shocked Derpy was back! I heard evil rumors that they were gonna cut her out entirely even as a small spolier or easter egg because of controversy from other people saying "she's an insult to the mentally challenged" which is a load of horse apples!

 

But nope she was back in full awsomeness, as was Pump Biceps and to top it off a team of gryphons who also made it to the finals! Very excited for more episodes now!

I was glad as well to see the Griffons being allowed to qualify for the Equestria Games, we don't know anything about the culture of the Griffons but at least we are learning more about the Equestria Games.

If you guys get why i'm calling one Kathyrine, you will get a freaking massive hug.

 

Also I'm currently writing a light Chroma and RD friendship fic, with Kathy and Gaston on the side. I'm building up their personalities. Because I can.

I didn't expect to see the griffons, but I sure liked seeing them.

 

What made me think is that it seemed like the team were representing cities, and them there is a griffon team. So, is there a city of griffons within Equestria?

The creative staff needs to throw in non-ponies more often, if just for the variety.

 

I understand that ponies are the ruling & most common species, but that doesn't mean they can't let the other species do something from time to time.

I'm not to surprised to see them, i mean its the Equestria games, implying any species could participate.

Just a minor update but we get this poster as a promo for the upcoming Equestria Games episode:

 

Looking to the far left, along with the 3 griffins we saw compete and qualify in Rainbow Falls, we see 3 new griffin newcomers. There's a light orange/red female in the back, a black and blue female, and the purple male with a similar facial profile to the brown male in Rainbow Falls.

 

Whether or not they have any impact, I don't know, but its always great to see more new characters and designs. Also you can never have enough griffins.

Equestria never really came off as a discriminating nation, so I'm not surprised that they have griffons either
