Since everypony is doing the "What would you do if your favorite pony <insert random stuff here>" kind of thread, I thought I would make this one.

 

So... Yeah. Your favorite pony died and you were invited to say a few words on his/her funeral. What would you say? Would you be able to say it? Would you need a little help from your friends?

I would say this:

 

She was a very good friend of ours, whom we will miss. But, she will live on in our hearts.

For Rarity I'd probably have to spend hours preparing a brilliantly poignant and deep speech. Like, I'd need to devote more time to those words than I'm willing to actually put down to this thread's hypothetical.

 

But for Pinkie: "I don't think she'd want us to be mourning for her. We should all remember what she wanted for us: To be ever happy with smiles on our hearts and dance in our step." [cue dance music, dance off podium as crowd erupts into party]

I'm sure we are all very sad about the death of Scootaloo: she was a great character and the writers made a really bad mistake killing her off and I will hold a protest till they change there minds and write her back into the show

In any event, I'd probably just sit there and talk on and on about how much I love her and how much I'll miss her. I talk about Rarity borderline nonstop, anyway

I honestly don't even know if I could speak at the funeral of Twilight Sparkle.

 

Being an Alicorn, I'd say she'd outlive me easily. ^^"

 

I know she's not immortal though.

 

I'd probably have some kind of speech I'd write for her, in that occasion.

 

I'd say something like "She was best pony, but not only an amazing friend, but a teacher as well, which is something she obviously loved to do."

 

Stuff like that.

For Applejack,

I can personally say....that she wouldn't want us to grieve for her....she'd want us to continue our lives, and only remember the good times we had with her....To remember the glorious moments of Applejacks life....but I for one.....Owe her more than that.... She....*Sniff* was my good friend....some would say more than friends at some point, *Small smile*, a caring, strong hearted, forgiving, honest, and down right enduring pony has left us, but.... I would cry so much if Applejack died. I would give a long speech regarding her honest ways, beautiful looks, persistence, and kind and caring personality that nopony (except Flitter but I wouldn't openly say that) would have.

 

Then I would just go mud bogging with the hearse. Catch me if you can, Apple Family.

I would say that Pinkie would not want us to be sad but to continue on smiling even if she's gone. And say she was an inspiration to Ponyville through her singing, spreading laughs etc.
