What will happen if a Houyhnhnm meets a Equestrian?

A Houyhnhnm is one of a race of intelligent Horses from an island south of Australia (not Tasmania to the east). These horses keep a race of barbaric Humans called "Yahoos", named after the Horses' word for "evil".
They also practice eugenics (and possibly racism), they never fall ill, their personality is cold and "perfect", and they never lie. Also, they do not mourn or celebrate death; they dismiss it as a trip to the "First Mother". *

By contrast, the "sunny" (and "stormy") Equestrians, or "sapient ponies", are in, many ways like us. They live in a different world, they don't have Humans (shut up, Lyra Heartstrings!), they just accept you whoever you are (unless you're a "monster" like Discord or Queen Chrysalis. Or Krastos.), and they do fall ill and die, in which they wail in sorrows.

What if a Houyhnhnm (as enountered by Lemuel Gulliver) meets a Pony in Equestria (or vice versa)? Will they start some sort of flame war, between the Equestrian's changeable emotions, and the Houyhnhnm's cold perfectionism? Though it'll be something nice to watch:

what will the Equines do to each other?

EDIT: * First Mother - a possible Houyhnhnm deity/goddess, alongside "Law and Reason". This might become a strong debate if this falls into Equestrian ears, which comes with the controversial possible interpretation: "THE FIRST MOTHER OF YOURS IS OUR QUEEN FAUST!"

They'll probably start trouble (unless they have some inner sense of honour, or they hit it off well being that they're both equines), then Celestia will step in and be like "I won't allow you to harm my people!" and either moon them, send the royal guards after them, or rely on Twi and friends to stop them

 

And of course there's Discord, who would troll them so hard xD

 

Edit: Now that I think of it, they would probably accuse the Equestrians of being an abomination, since they're like much more humanlike (never seen one of that other race before)

 

Edit 2: Now that I read more, I think they would get along at first. Although the Equestrians would see them as cold. They would likely be emplyoyed as judges and royal guards. Eventually, the Equestrians would find out their true nature, and there could possibly be a civil war.

I think we are all forgetting something. Houyhnhnms while inteligent and haughty they are still just normal horses physically speaking. Now I ask you, what would physically normal horses with a vulcan like society do or even could do to a diverse race of super ponies that control the weather, the rising and setting of the sun, the change of the seasons, and have such varied abilities that one pony could punch through solid rock while another can break the visual spectrum by flying super fast?

 

Equestria would be horrifying and shatter every belief they ever had. Even if they wanted to wipe them out they would stand no chance what so ever, and lets remember they are not even fond of war to begin with. Equestrias existance would bring into question everything they knew.

The Houyhnhnms treated Gulliver fairly nicely once they realized he was slightly more intelligent than the Yahoos. I think once they realized that Equestrians are essentially human minds in horselike bodies, they would tolerate them. Of course it would depend on where they were. If the Houies came to Equestria I expect the Equestrians would find a way to share the land and live in peace as long as the Houies didn't show malicious intent. If the Equestrians landed in the land of the Houyhnhnms there might be an initial reaction of fear, but they would welcome the Equestfians once they saw how useful their magic is.

I think the Equestrians would be more freaked than the Hs.  I see them as more like Vulcans & the EQs are a little Xenophobic & don't take well to outsiders.
