Thanks a lot. I woke up this morning thinking to myself 'you know what would make this day amazing? If I was somehow forced into forced into a state of shock and disbelief due to some abhorring mlp footage from the dark side of the franchise! Even better: if that happened twice!' But yeah I've seen that one before. Pretty weird stuff...

Just because 0 is the exponent, doesn't mean your number is getting divided by zero. It means your number is getting divided by itself once, which is why it is equal to one. And since putting a negative sign infront of a zero means nothing, you still get the same outcome. Dividing by zero has nothing to do with this.

Would My Little Pony be better if it was for Cartoon Network?
WWAPD replied to FruitRiver's topic in MLP:FiM Canon Discussion
Although creative freedom is very important, I also think it's important to have some structure and outside opinions. I don't find anything inherently wrong with the names or color schemes of the ponies we have now, nor to I think it's a very important part of the show. Lauren Faust's original names don't seem very appealing to me, but maybe I'm just bias. However profit-oriented Hasbro's motives may seem, they are still a very big part of what the show is today. The fact that Hasbro made Twilight an alicorn may have been for the sake of selling more toys, but it is following Faust's original vision of the show, as well as helping it move forward in general.- 28 replies

I just don't care. I mean, the wings are just props anyway. What matters is the fact that she's a princess now. OF COURSE she's not going to be as good a flyer as Rainbow Dash. Everyone is getting so worked up over a few seconds of flying time from Twilight. Does it really matter how she learned to fly so quickly? Does it really matter if it makes no sense that she won't be able to fly as well in later episodes? Twilight's wings are just a piece of eye candy to make her more distinguished.

Whats the big deal with Fluttershy and Rainbow Dash?
WWAPD replied to ♞RedLotus♞'s topic in MLP:FiM Canon Discussion
1. Though I am a big fan, I hardly think Digibrony is the most popular brony on the internet. 2. http://digibrony.tumblr.com/page/2 If you look at his analysis of "Applebuck Season" (or just ctrl+f "favorite pony"), he says That Applejack is his second favorite, with Twilight being his first. Way to keep the argument going! -
Whats the big deal with Fluttershy and Rainbow Dash?
WWAPD replied to ♞RedLotus♞'s topic in MLP:FiM Canon Discussion
It's almost as if they were a rarity. Anyways, I agree with you on the idea that RD and Fluttershy have very straight-forward characters, and that less popular characters like Rarity and Pinkie Pie should be given more appreciation. I think the main reason why Rainbow Dash and Fluttershy are so popular is because most of their characteristics can be seen immediately, such as Fluttershy's timidness or Rainbow Dash's athleticism. It takes longer to relate to characters like Pinkie Pie or Rarity because we have to look past their initial appearance to fully understand their character, and to understand the motivation behind their actions. -
Favorite High School Science Class
WWAPD replied to Foreigner And Lover's topic in General Discussion
Well, I just finished sophomore year a few months ago, and so far my favorite math has been Algebra 2 advanced and my favorite science has been Advanced Biology. I do hope both those change though, as I am taking AP Physics and AP calc BC in the Fall. Oh, and if computer science counted as a science class, then c++ would be my favorite.- 33 replies

Who Has a Bigger Problem With Greed: Rarity or Spike?
WWAPD replied to A Talking Dragon's topic in MLP:FiM Canon Discussion
If you look at both Spike and Rarity's greed moments, it's Spike's and not Rarity's that end up causing the most external damage. When Rarity tricks Spike into giving her his birthday gem, nothing much comes of it, but when Spike ends up becoming greedy, it's due to the fact that everyone BUT Rarity was giving him everything he wanted. In fact, it was Rarity who ended up saving Ponyville from Spike using the birthday gem example to convince him not to be greedy. In Sweet and Elite, Rarity does act selfishly, but does anything bad happen? No. She ends up realizing that she could have gotten exactly what she wanted without such inappropriate behavior. And after all, wasn't the fact that she was willing to make Twilight a dress in the first place an example of Rarity's generosity? In fact, it's moments when Rarity is generous that get her into the most trouble. In suited for success, Rarity offers to make dresses for the whole mane six, and they end up taking advantage of her generosity instead of being thankful. Is it not right after this episode when Rarity begins to exhibit the first of her greedy behavior? So yeah. In my opinion, Rarity may be selfish at times, but that does not outweigh her overall generosity. Spike's character is just overall motivated by greed. -
I just got back from a seven eleven with a slurpie in hand! I actually completely forgot about it until I saw this thread, soon after I left my house and journeyed through the sweltering heat for over 10 minutes until I finally found a seven eleven.

Here in Colorado, cigarette smoking is generally frowned upon (at least by my fellow high schoolers) due to the increasing abundance of weed. After all, why smoke cigarettes when you could just get high? To answer your question, no I do not smoke, and nor to I consume weed in any fashion. Though many of my friends do weed, who'd no doubt otherwise be smoking cigarettes. (neither of these look badass in my opinion.)

So I just finished my first ever fanfic and published it on FiMFiction right here: http://www.fimfiction.net/story/82891/pony-royale (this is the same link you'll find in my signature) It's based of the book/movie Battle Royale. I only have the first part up, but I was planning on releasing the rest soon. The reception doesn't seem to be too good, but I wanted to know what you guys over here thought!

Should all of the Mane Six become alicorns?
WWAPD replied to DR Leper Lupinstein's topic in MLP:FiM Canon Discussion
That sounds great! Just as long as Applejack is counted out. Hell no. Do you really think the writers are going to just copy the plot-line from Princess Promenade when they know g3 is widely hated? That aside, it's a stupid idea anyways because you'd have so many princesses that they would have nothing to do. But then again, that's just my opinion. If you really think it's a good idea, and that it would be a good story-line, then I suggest you write a fanfic about it. -

Honestly, just to make loud noises. There are some cool cracking routines online as well. Me and my friend are both jugglers and he got me into whipping too. This one is sort of a prototype whip, as we've never made one out of gorilla tape before.

So I made a bullwhip with Rarity colors. I braided it with gorilla tape. Me and my friend spent most of last weekend making the strands and braiding each layer. Last night I attached the fall and cracker. About an hour ago I finished the handle and knob at the end. I might post a video of me cracking it later, but right now it's two in the morning where I am. If anyone is interested in making one the video is here: http://www.instructables.com/id/How-to-make-a-Good-Duct-Tape-Bullwhip/

Does Rarity count? Last time I checked, she had the lowest score in the "who's your favorite mane 6 pony" poll. I feel a lot of people are pushed away by her girlishness, but I find her to be one of the most complex characters. Also, what about Caramel? I don't really know much about him, but I included him in a fanfic.

Ghost Stories, Folklore, Legends and the Generally Supernatural
WWAPD replied to Tyroq's topic in General Discussion
I've never actually believed in ghosts or anything like that, nor have I actually ever had any kind of experience with that of the supernatural. That said, my grandparents old house is over a hundred years old, and about half my family including myself refuses to sleep in the very back of the house. In fact, I've often claimed it was haunted just so that I wouldn't have to sleep there alone! That said, the closest thing to a supernatural experience that has ever happened to me in that house was my inability to operate the television set. -
I love meat, and I eat it all the time. Bacon and steak and burgers and hotdogs are just too tasty to give up. Also, it's a pretty good source of protein. Sure you can also get protein from beans or whatever, but meat is in far better abundance and is yummier.

If you're into science fiction, right now I'm halfway through Oryx and Crake by Margaret Atwood, and I would definitely recommend it, though it starts off a little boring.

The Crystal Empire Or Magical Mystery Cure?
WWAPD replied to 100 beasts kaidou's topic in MLP:FiM Canon Discussion
I have to say, I think the two-parters are a little overrated, mainly because they always introduce new concepts and characters. I think magical mystery cure was an excellently spaced season finale, and it was pulled off in one episode. It didn't add yet another secondary character, or antagonist that will only remain important for that episode. The Crystal Empire just seemed long, drawn out, and less relevant to the rest of the show. -
I'm a sophomore in high school and I recently came out about being a brony by wearing a WWAPD shirt. It was less of a "shit hits fan" effect that I expected, and more of a "break the news to everyone you've ever met" effect. As for haters, they're pretty much non-existent at my school, except for one kid that keeps telling me I'm gay, though it's much more lighthearted than hateful.
