    Oh man, Wubsie hit the mark for one of the games that made me cry. The only other game that really made me cry was Gears of War 2. After Marcus and Dom went through all the waves of flesh and sinew to reach Maria, after ten long years of Dominic searching, they finally reach her. But what they find though, and what Dom does, is so heart breaking. It just connected with me on such a personal level and the whole scene was believable. In the end though, Dominic saved his princess from the castle.

    I'm sure that it'll have bursts from time to time. After all, it's the middle of the month and it's very likely that people will donate once the next month rolls around. I know I will But lets say that no one else donates, it stays at the current mark of $555 and Feld0 doesn't go to Bronycon. To Feld0 and crew, what do you have planned for the amassed funds? I have several guesses for what plans you'd have for it, such as an emergency 'buffer' reserve, going towards the server as regular donations to just saving it for next years Bronycon. I ask though because I'm sure that there will be others with the same question and I doubt many will scroll through all the replies to get an answer.

    I'm glad and thankful that you've taken the time to create this Dave. I was thinking about creating a thread just like this, but now that I found this lovely little topic you've saved me all the work. Not to mention that you've also given me some new sites for me to explore and suggest to other fellow users whom are just beginning, or struggling, in the art of drawing. Indeed, this thread is incredible and it's a shame that not many budding artists have seen this as of yet. My thanks good sir, I'll be sure to recommend fellow artists to this topic

    Could we get a bit more information? It's hard to give suggestions if we don't have a rough idea as for where he lives or what he likes. I want to say that he lives in Japan judging by what you said, but he could also easily live in Korea, China and other places within Asia. Really though it doesn't matter, even if you give him something he has or something truly alien to him, I'm sure he'll like it 'cause it's the thought after all.

    How about Tom? Nah but come now, surely I can instill something more than that into your noggin now. His special talent is baking, so thus these are the names I've been able to think of. Of course, some may not really fit with your character but it's more for getting the wheels in your mind turning. Pastry Flour (Yes, I went there!) Cookie Dough Auburn Glaze Kindre Beik? (Get it? Sounds exactly like BAKER! I'm soo smart ) Off topic, but I'm not sure about the idea of your OC being insecure about his talent. All the characters we've seen in FiM have been proud of their cutiemark/special talent and aren't affected by others opinions. Sure, some ponies may not like anothers special talent, but even then they usually won't point it out. It is your character though, follow what your heart decides. P.S. It's Flour not Flower. I thought you were talking about a bag of flowers with a wooden spoon at first, confusing myself for the first several minutes

    I must say that this is some lovely work. The attention to detail is clearly there and I can't wait for you to give this some color and values! I took a look at your DA and your previous works and I must say that I admire your strength in drawing portraits. I'm looking forward to the finished version of this piece. Now for the fact of selling your goodies, I'm sorry but I have to be blunt. While there will be individuals whom will buy your works, it's not a stable source of income. You will get one or two sales, especially if you draw something that the buyer is yearning for. But the fact of the matter is that sales will be sporadic and you can't rely on this as your main source of income, at least not yet. I'd suggest going through the rings of finding a job while positions are starting to open up. You can draw, there's no doubt about it. The biggest issue that you're going to face is the lack of people who know of you and the competition throughout the net.

    Everyone else has covered what looks out of place for your pony except one thing I noticed. If I was going to point out one flaw that just grabbed my attention more than anything, it's her right eyes Iris. It seems a bit thicker than it should be thus giving off a sense of being slightly deformed. My suggestion would be to simply trim her iris to where it's a more uniform size to her pupil. Good job overall my friend, keep it up!

    Nicely done mate, I'm proud that you decided to try something besides drawing ponies. I know the first two characters quite well, the third one is quite interesting. You say that you drew it out of your 'sick mind' but it reminds me of a Titan from Attack On Titan. A Titan which affected the very life of the protagonist, how peculiar indeed.

    Nicely done mate, I feel as though you nailed the exact theme you were going for. Your pic gives me the relation that when one is indeed under financial hardship that we do whatever we can to make some financial progress. We become so desperate that we sometimes do extreme things just to make that precious dollar to keep our lives going. At the end of the road though, with the stress and extremities such a situation can be on oneself, it can literally erode (or evolve) our souls to the point where we don't even recognize ourselves anymore. This should be getting more attention than it has received Vexx, excellent job

    If there's anything in this world I truly fear, it'd be the following. I fear the night for my sight is limited and the world becomes alien to me. I fear making speeches because of how I'll be judged if I screw up. I fear driving because of how insane many people can be on the road. I fear deep bodies of water for they house the unknown. I fear being physically around people, especially those that I know. Some of these are weird phobias I know, but by being aware of them I can at least slowly erode the wall which stops me from overcoming these fears.

    Glad to hear you like it Your OC was drawn via a Wacom Tablet in SAI. While I do have more experience with traditional mediums I decided to do ponies strictly in the digital. A weird idea one may say but the reality is that I have more experience drawing ponies in the digital, just as I have more experience drawing people in charcoal. I'd really like to get a Cintiq model in the future but those suckers cost an arm and a leg!

    This is unfortunately one of the reasons why I'm still feeling out the waters for RPing. The times that I have RP'd with others it seems as though a lot of users want to save the day more than their character should be capable of. Once in a while is alright, but when it happens over and over and over... I just lose interest because it feels as though nothing really interesting will happen in the RP session. No matter what I or anyone else in the topic does, that same character will save everyone from any and all future conflicts in the story! I know I'll find some good RP topics when I gain more experience, it's just growing pains P.S. The Unstoppable Rage and Heroic Resolve tropes fit these kinds of situations

    As much as I'd love to wish you a good luck, I have to agree with John here. It seems as though not much thought was put into this project. Nothing here really makes the game distinguish itself from many of the other proposed game ideas out there. Besides, do you have a 'bible' for this game of yours? What kind of games and systems you have planned out and how will they be implemented? How will simple game play and maneuvering around the world be like? Will this be a 2D or 3D game? Do you have a core idea as to how exploration will work out or even a UI? While I'm thinking about it, is there any concept drawings to give us (and yourself) a visual aid? What role are you playing towards the team? Etc. Etc, the questions go on. I don't want to destroy your aspects of creating games, but making a working game is incredibly difficult (I know, I've tried!) Even if you find a handful of individuals who could make amazing sprites and animated them to perfection, the biggest issue you're going to run into is finding not one, but TWO programmers. My suggestion would be to start on something easier, like a simple platformer or even a pony themed tetris clone.

    "IMA FIRIN MAH LAZOR!!!" Somehow, this screenshot always gives me a good laugh. If only I had this in manly spike edition... Say, now that's a thought! "Oh Celestia, what's going on?!" This one always gives me a giggle as well and was even my wallpaper at one point. For whatever reason, the pony dressed up as a mummy had her eyes open the entire scene. Sure, it was to give some slight variance in the scene but it always cracked me up during Luna Eclipsed. "Oh, sorry..." I love this one for one simple reason, composition. "<3!" This screenshot always just felt warm and gave me the fuzzies. " ;-; "
