I don't dislike Celestia at all or any of the Princesses for that matter. I think they all serve their purpose as developed secondary/tertiary characters. I really don't understand why there is so much hate for the princesses I mean come on Luna and Celestia have hair that moves and waves on its own!

movies/tv Avatar: The Legend of Korra - Book 2: Spirits
Wonderbolt_Spitfire replied to Hansel's topic in Media Discussion
When did they announce this? because I heard that they were only adding one more season because of it doing so well. If they are adding a couple more seasons then I will be ecstatic. -
movies/tv Avatar: The Legend of Korra - Book 2: Spirits
Wonderbolt_Spitfire replied to Hansel's topic in Media Discussion
I'm really glad/excited/sad that the final season is on its way for Legend of Korra. I have been a big fan of the Avatar series since I began watching S1 TLA when I was a teen. I really liked the premise of the show and it was really cool so I held onto it. When I heard about a new Avatar series I was extremely happy that Nickolodeon brought it back. Although I wish we could have seen the adventures of Older Aang, but that is moot. I am sad that this will be the final season of LOK but since it was only suppose to be a one season show in the first place, I really can't complain now can I? -
How often do you change your username/avatar
Wonderbolt_Spitfire replied to NothingIsEverything's topic in General Discussion
I don't change my avatar often and I probably won't change my username (unless I shorten it) because I feel that changing a lot doesn't allow you to become known in the community if your changing all the time no body really remembers that, but if you are something that has been a constant then people tend to remember that more often. -
Do you have a habit of cracking your knuckles?
Wonderbolt_Spitfire replied to Eureka's topic in General Discussion
I will crack just about anything. Normally my neck and knuckles are the ones I crack the most, but I will also crack my back and toes every so often. It tends to relax me and gives me something to do because I tend to get restless if I'm not doing anything for a long time. -
How old is too old for Halloween?
Wonderbolt_Spitfire replied to Musix's topic in General Discussion
I honestly don't think there is such a thing as being too old to go trick or treating. Its people giving out free candy for being dressed up in a costume. Most of the time when I have been giving out candy we are still left with a ton of candy left so there being more trick or treaters out (no matter what age) wouldn't hurt anyone as long as they are acting normally. -
Episodes you seem to overlook/forget?
Wonderbolt_Spitfire replied to Moonlight's topic in MLP:FiM Canon Discussion
The only episodes that I forget are the ones that are centered around Spike. I just don't like him as a main character. He is good as a Tier 1.5 -2 Character but not a Tier 1 character (In my opinion). Other than those types of episodes I remember every other episode because when it centers around the mane 6 I know to expect awesomeness or shenanigans to happen. -
Do you follow a daily schedule?
Wonderbolt_Spitfire replied to Moonlight's topic in General Discussion
My days are too chaotic to follow a schedule. I normally have to prioritize what needs to get done everyday and then go from there, but it changes on a day to day basis. Also during my free time I'm usually doing something different every time because being in a routine/schedule is boring and just doesn't really seem like something I would want to do. -

I really haven't been disappointed in any of the songs through S1-S3. Daniel Ingram has done great work on every song and is amazing. This song is definitely catchier than most of the S3 songs.

gaming Need help with PC build for Next Gen.
Wonderbolt_Spitfire replied to Psychotic Muffin's topic in Media Discussion
Yes, your current build will last you for longer than 5-6 months if needed. Although I may not like your lack of SSD and your choice of Processor, it will last for a couple years probably even longer depending on the game you play. On a side note make sure that your RAM's clock speed is initially supported by your MOBO because if it isn't then you will have to go into your MOBO's BIOS to edit that and normally people who don't know what they're doing will screw something up when doing that. I'm sure you already know this but it's worth mentioning that when you change your Processor you are going to have to buy a new MOBO. -
Have you ever been singled out in class before?
Wonderbolt_Spitfire replied to Moonlight's topic in General Discussion
I only got singled out in class a few times and normally it was for talking. Since I usually already knew the content being covered in class the teacher wasn't too harsh on me. I was usually was the one silently laughing at the people who got called out in class for trying to disturb or disrupt the class. -
gaming What's the longest time you've spent on a video game?
Wonderbolt_Spitfire replied to Sanic Screwdriver's topic in Media Discussion
I have roughly clocked in about 2000+ hours on DOTA 2 and on World of Warcraft my total time played was roughly 4800+ hours. I quit WoW so now my main games are DOTA 2 and CS:GO, but I'm new to the CS series so I haven't clocked in a lot of hours on it just yet. -
If you aren't taking a class run by a professor who is paid to teach you the skills needed for programming and the language itself then choose a language that is going motivate you to learn on your own. Do your research on multiple languages and pick one that you think you are going to use the most for what you want to do. Learning any programming language on your own is tough and there really is no 'easier' language to learn. Although when I was learning C in school I thought it was easy and is a great starter language for someone not used to writing any code or thinking like a programmer.

What sort of things have people made fun of you for?
Wonderbolt_Spitfire replied to Moonlight's topic in General Discussion
The main things people used to pick on me for were reading all the time ( I used to read all the time like legit Twilight walking and reading.) and for being quiet and not talking to anyone. Now that I'm not in high school though and I'm out in the real world where most people are mature and civil towards each other so I don't get made fun of any more:- 240 replies

iirc the initial reaction from critics wasn't good. I only heard bad things about the movie, but I loved it so it didn't deter me but I thought that all the negative feedback/reviews I was hearing were going to kill the first one at the box office. I was obviously wrong and I'm okay with that because I get to watch the sequel now.

The worst thing that could happen is clearly another para sprite infestation that happens in Ponyville while Pinkie Pie is away visiting her parents at the rock farm. All the ponies would die(including the rest of the mane 6) and Pinkie would come back to Ponyville with no friends. She would have to revert back to her 'Party of One' friends.

Readers: Do You Prefer E-books or Regular Books?
Wonderbolt_Spitfire replied to Moonlight's topic in Media Discussion
For me it depends on what type of book. If it is a book I'm going to be reading for pleasure then I prefer Ebook format because I can read it on my iPhone anytime. But if it is a college textbook then I need a physical copy to touch and feel also because pages don't get 'messed' up when you have the physical copy (ie: a professor references a books page number, but in the Ebook that same page is a different number).- 57 replies

I'm pinkiecited for this one! I loved the first one but didn't expect a second one to be mentioned at all. I thought that the critics hated it so much that it wouldn't be given a sequel. Now that it is though I can't wait to see it in theaters. From what I've seen it looks like Nicholas Cage's character survived? Which will be awesome because his character truly was BADASS.

Favorite and Least Favorite Classes in School?
Wonderbolt_Spitfire replied to Moonlight's topic in General Discussion
My favorite classes have to be any math class and any science class with the exception of biology. I have always been very good at understanding math and science quickly so I did well in those classes. The class I hated the most was English just due to the fact that all the classes are about older writers who wrote almost in completely different languages plus the fact that I'm not good at seeing symbolism, motifs, themes, etc because you have to read between the lines for that stuff and I take everything at face value because my brain thinks everything is like math (everything is one way and there is nothing tricky about it). -

Wonderbolt_Spitfire replied to Psychotic Muffin's topic in Media Discussion
Then pick up an i5 instead of the AMD. The sad thing is that even the the i5s are better processors than the AMD ones. To be honest AMD has been putting out crap lately, the only thing they are good for is for large amounts of numerical computations because of their higher base clock speeds. The only redeeming quality they have to a gamer is their price point, but that only allows you to see the saying "you get what you pay for" If you are going to build it your self then I suggest a full tower case there is a lot more room to fit parts in and it will allow for more air circulation. Other than that you NEED an SSD that will make your build better, but until you change the processor out it's going to be like a sports car without an engine. If you decide to switch your processor then make sure to not skimp out a MOBO. Just buy an above average MOBO. You don't need anything crazy top of the line, but the MOBO will be your bottleneck that holds you back, considering all your other parts. -
Those paintings were well worth more than 35 a piece! Have some faith in your abilities mate! Wonderful painting by the way! I hope someone buys it and appreciates it.

Am I The Only Person That Loathes Derpy Hooves?
Wonderbolt_Spitfire replied to MLPForums Phanact's topic in Sugarcube Corner
I'm pretty much indifferent about Derpy. The only fun thing to do is plat 'Find Derpy' in every episode. Other than that she could not be around at all in the background and I honestly wouldn't notice or be too upset. She does serve her purpose as a fandom Easter egg and that shows me that writers and animators care about more than just the 'target' audience demographic the show is 'intended' for -

Aftermarket heat sinks don't matter unless you are overclocking your processor if you plan on doing that and want a solid safe temperature then you should purchase an aftermarket heat sink. One thing you need to include is an SSD they are well worth the money and make load times instant. Another thing is that you should be looking at buying an i7 the Intel processors generally out perform AMD by a substantial margin. Although their price point is pretty steep, I suggest getting an Intel unless money is an issue, but if you want a next gen Gaming PC then money shouldn't be the issue. Lastly I will preach for the GTX 700 series they have a nice high bit rate (264 I believe) which is honestly the most important thing to your video card lasting 5+ years and no game being able to make it strain. My GTX 470 is a 320 bit rate and has lasted me 5 years and no game has given it any trouble. Of course clock speed and memory size are nice too but bit rate is key. If you are looking for any particular suggestions on part then let me know (I build gaming PCs), but for me half the fun is looking at the parts yourself and comparing and contrasting. Lastly I suggest building the PC yourself by buying all the parts you are going to be grossly overpriced for labor which is honestly not worth it when you can do it yourself. All the connectors for all the pieces are self explanatory and anything you have questions with google or I can answer. Plus building your PC yourself is so much fun and gratifying. -
what do your parents think of mlp
Wonderbolt_Spitfire replied to Mr. Changeling's topic in Sugarcube Corner
My dad gives me crap about it only in a playful manner. Although I think he is into it more than he leads on. I'm a young adult so he doesn't really care what I'm into as long as I'm not killing people or torturing children in our basement. He also knows I'm into trying and doing just about anything so he gives me all the opportunity to do whatever I want without judging too harshly. -
