What do you call soft drinks?
Wonderbolt_Spitfire replied to Quill The Pony.'s topic in General Discussion
I have always called it soda I try not to drink soda any more though because it's generally unhealthy for you. I understand most people from the central United States call it pop and I guess that's just their thing. We should all just start calling it a carbonated beverage get it over with. -
It really aggravates me when people walk by dragging their feet. The noise of shoes scuffing is annoying and it makes me think you are just generally a lazy person if you can't pick your feet up to walk to where you're going.

You can upload image files directly from your computer to the site if you click the "Upload Files + More Options" button and post your images in a thread from there. Or if you are looking to have them all categorized and what not then you can make an 'imgur' account and upload your images to there and then post the links from 'imgur' straight to here which should show the image itself (not the hyperlink).

A True, True Friend (Orchestral Cover)
Wonderbolt_Spitfire replied to ArtemYegorov's topic in Fan Music
When I hear this I imagine Octavia and the Canterlot Orchestra playing this. This is amazingly well polished. How long did it take you to completely finish this? Do you plan on doing other songs like this because if you can you totally should! Once again great job and I hope to see more Orchestra versions of other MLP songs! Великая проклятую работу!- 20 replies

Do you ever regret being a brony?
Wonderbolt_Spitfire replied to Gigapony's topic in Sugarcube Corner
It's okay to vent, but if you haven't had a negative experience then you don't know what or how it will happen. Depending on where you live most negative experiences don't go as bad as the extremes you hear about. They are usually pretty civil (relatively speaking) and the worst that happens is words are exchanged. There is always going to two sides to everything (one who loves and one who hates), and you just have to do what makes you happy. Your happiness and mental & physical health should always come first. -
Click on your username at the top of the screen. When the drop down menu shows up click 'My Settings' it will bring you to edit your profile. Once there on the left side of the screen find the Tab marked 'Notification Options' and click it from there you can choose specific things to be emailed about or uncheck them all and you will not be emailed about anything on the site. Once you have checked or unchecked what you want make sure to click 'Save' at the bottom. Any other questions I'm glad to help.

gaming What have you bought during Steam Summer sale?
Wonderbolt_Spitfire replied to a topic in Media Discussion
Currently I have only bought Counter Strike:Global Offensive for $5 (Flash Sale), I hope that is all I buy because I don't need my bank account to be empty before BronyCon. That would just be awful. I probably won't buy anything else unless its an unbeatable deal. -
gaming First videogame you played ?
Wonderbolt_Spitfire replied to Soultensionb's topic in Media Discussion
The first video game I played was Duck Hunt on the NES. As a kid I cheated by putting the gun up to the TV and shooting. I had tons of fun though. -
Which members on MLPF do you respect?
Wonderbolt_Spitfire replied to King's topic in General Discussion
I respect everyone on the forums. Everyone joined this site because they enjoy/love MLP:FiM and that's enough to earn my respect. I give everyone the respect they deserve until I see someone do something to lose my respect. Whether it be flaming, making uninformed claims, or stating an uniformed opinion. That will lose my respect very quickly, although I am quick to forgive and forget. -
Would you make a presentation for your class about MLP?
Wonderbolt_Spitfire replied to POW's topic in Sugarcube Corner
I would without a doubt be able to give a presentation about it. Although the circumstances would have to be right for me to have my topic be MLP:FiM. I'm very confident in public speaking and I feel I wouldn't have trouble doing it because I make sure I know what I'm talking about before I start speaking. I've watched many other students do presentations similar to this regarding MLP and all I have to say is Great Job! Be confident in what you love and don't let anyone hold you back!- 40 replies

Do you plan to go to college after high school? Because let me tell you right now that if you think your teachers don't teach, then wait till you enter college where most professors expect you to teach yourself 50% of the material. For the majority of college though your actually going to classes more than you do now in high school so enjoy what you have now because college is fun, but man I would give anything to re do high school. To be honest I always take the "my teacher hates me is why a got a bad grade" excuse with a grain of salt because In most cases the person who got that grade earned the grade they got by not putting the effort into the class (which is your fault not the teachers) and usually the teacher is angry at you because you are being lazy ( I hate lazy people too so I understand where they're coming from). I have yet to see a teacher give a grade they didn't 'deserve', but I also wouldn't be surprised to see it happen (although it is highly unlikely) For your math packet I understand your frustration it can be really tough when you haven't continued to practice the subject material for awhile. You tend to forget simple applications ( it happens to everyone). The biggest rule in Algebra though is that "Whatever you do to one side you do to the other!" Usually that will get you through the majority of Algebra even up to Calculus. If you need help with math I'd be more than willing to lend you my knowledge of math (I'm in Calc 2 right now but I'm pretty confident about my algebra and geometry skills) if you want me to teach you the mechanics and tutor you from the packet.

What Fan Animators Could Work Best on the Series?
Wonderbolt_Spitfire replied to Radiance64's topic in Sugarcube Corner
The two animators I'm familiar with are Jan and Zachary Rich(& Team). I would give the edge to Jan currently as I believe he actually does freelance animation work whereas Zachary Rich just finished his degree and recently got a job at a studio(iirc). I would be happy with either of them doing the animating. But the bigger thing is the Director. The director of the series is much more crucial to the success as they have final say in whether an animatic is ready to go to production. Which is then just animated by the animators. The good thing is that DHX wouldn't just suddenly stop working on the series (that's like saying "no we don't want your money hasbro!") because at this point Im pretty certain a lot of the animators love working on the show.- 10 replies

I would probably choose to move to Canada if I had to leave the US. It's relatively close to me so moving wouldn't be a huge hassle. Plus all the people who live there are so nice (except for most French Canadians, although I have met a few nice ones). Free Healthcare is always a plus as well and the fact I am a huge hockey fan makes this a no brainer for me. Other countries I've considered are The UK and Australia

technology What headphones do you use?
Wonderbolt_Spitfire replied to Lisa's topic in Media Discussion
I use a wireless headset made by skullcandy. The sound quality is really good compared to my previous headsets and I can walk around my house with them on without losing range on them. The only thing that may be below average is the microphone quality, but I don't do anything that requires a professional level microphone so I am overall very happy with my headset.- 263 replies

Just be confident when you are asked about it. Whenever people ask me about it I just tell them the truth. It's a great cartoon and amazingly funny. Don't try and push the show on them, just answer there questions honestly and confidently. If people are trying to put you down then just try your best to avoid confrontation, but if you want to defend yourself then don't be afraid to do so. Confidence is a big thing here though.

Is Equestria Girls Worth a Watch?
Wonderbolt_Spitfire replied to idonotreallycare's topic in Equestria Girls
Equestria Girls is without a doubt worth the watch. If you have an open mind about the movie then you will most likely enjoy the movie. You can either watch it on youtube or wait for it to be put on TV, or even wait for it to come out on DVD. Anyway you watch it you will be definitely agree it was worth it. -
I try my best to use proper grammar at all times. Although when I am fooling around I ignore most grammar rules just screw around with people. Using proper grammar is very important though because you don't want to end up being the person everyone looks at like you have three heads because you said something idiotic.

Looking for help making a Pony Rpg
Wonderbolt_Spitfire replied to supersonicfan91's topic in Miscellaneous Fan Art
Not to be negative or anything, but you shouldn't make a thread asking for help and not list specifically what you need help with. It makes you seem disorganized. Some big questions of mine are: 1) Have you written a game design document? 1a) (if yes to 1) What help are you looking for specifically? Coders? Artists? Play Testers? Etc.. 2) What is your definition of 'Alpha'? Many people/studios have different interpretations of 'Alpha' 3) Do you have a time frame in which your looking to release or are you 'playing by feel'? When trying to get help from people you have to take it seriously and show people you have flushed out your idea fully. You may have done it, but your post doesn't show that. I think your general idea is great (mainly because I have had similar ideas that I plan to pursue later on down the road) but it is being poorly executed.- 3 replies
