  1. I loved it, and it's a good thing too-I was really holding my breath after 'Rainbow Falls' But, luckily this episode was very funny (plus, I think I can see why Dash was kicked out of flight school, now.)
  2. No, despite her being 'sworn in'-I don't think we see or hear from her enough to be considered a member-especially since we haven't since last Season. So I still only see Scootaloo, Sweetie Belle, and Applebloom as the only Cutie Mark Crusaders.
  3. Well, since a few of the Mane Six's dreams require them to leave or do a lot of travelling-to make their dreams come true, I honestly don't see a way that some of them won't have to abandon their friends. Rarity wants to be a successful fashionista and move to Canterlot. The Wonderbolts do a lot of travelling as performers and since Dash is a back-up, that means that she will probably have to travel with them when an accident occurs, like when Soarin was watching the cheerleaders instead of the skies back at the Equestrian Games try-outs, especially since we've seen that the Wonderbolts are arrogant, reckless, and incompetent on several occasions. Personally, I'm hoping she ditches the Wonderbolts after realizing that they're just a bunch of stuck-up jerks (as we've seen in 'Rainbow Falls') who only care about themselves after making an ultimatum for her to stay one of them, only if she ditches her friends (as we've seen in 'Wonderbolts Academy', and 'Rainbow Falls').
  4. Actually, on her twitter Amy Keating Rogers said that she didn't think about that at the time when another user told her the people were flipping out over that and she only used the name because she thought it sounded like a cool name for the founder of the Wonderbolts and she wasn't trying to step on anyone's toes. And she can be one or the other, both, or neither based on what we as individual fans would like to think.
  5. This guy reminds me a lot of myself, sure I graduated from high school but ultimately, so what? It doesn't make me more important than anyone else, I still don't feel as if my life has any actual value, and getting a diploma doesn't automatically guarantee you a job. We're born, and we die-usually without our lives ever having had real meaning.
  6. I'm not sure... He seemed to be more of a friend or adoptive younger brother to Twilight than an actual slave or a pet and the 'Crystal Empire' seems to reiterate this with the door of fear and again with 'Spike At Your Service' where both he and Twi are visibly distraught at him leaving as well as the fact that he was allowed the task of looking after the Mane Six's pets while they returned to the Crystal Empire to meet Miss Harshwhinny. I REALLY want to say 'no' but, in Equestria Girls he is turned into a dog (which in the human world is a pet) which is confusing because its the exact opposite of what we've been lead to believe up until this point. In Season 4, 'The Power Ponies' claims that he isn't a pet and more of a sidekick character-so it feels like the writers can't really make up their minds on what they want him to be.
  7. I neither loved or hated the first film, I just thought it was rushed and overall pretty 'meh', but I'm willing to give this one a chance. With that said, there are a few things I'm hoping for in this sequel. Sunset Shimmer, while I realize that I'm in the vast minority of those that actually like her and enjoyed her appearance in the last film, I would like her to make an appearance or at least be mentioned if Twilight is coming back to the human world-since she was the driving force behind the Mane Six falling out in the first film and subsequently meeting Twilight-not to be mention the whole demonic entity/mind-control thing being simply forgotten would be weird. Vinyl Scratch having either an entirely silent role in the film, since it's HIGHLY unlikely that Hasbro will allow Nowhacking to voice her. Gilda, Lightning Dust, and/or Suri Polomare having a cameo or background appearance. An clarification or explanation on whether two years have actually passed for Twilight to return through the portal or a way for her to return without having to wait, like some sort of magic spell.
  8. So far, just about every episode that Discord has appeared in tied with Maud Pie.
  9. This is why I don't see it as too much of an issue, and I believe they have also called Cheerilee by her name while omitting the 'Miss' on occasion as well. And I think Twilight and the girls seldom call Cadance 'princess', unless speaking to a third party. (Not counting 'A Canterlot Wedding')
  10. Yeah that really sucks, I first heard that she wasn't going to be available when I first heard about the toys via facebook and I'm left to wonder if it's because they believe her Rainbow form wasn't as aesthetically pleasing as the others? I remember when Rainbow Power was first officially announced and when the art was released I remember a lot of people complaining about her form having an ugly design. But again, since she's part of the Mane Six-excluding her from something like this just seems wrong-regardless of how pleasing her design may or may not be to some.
  11. My favorite would have to be Seabreeze because I enjoyed his attitude throughout the episode and the revelation of his family at the end helped show why he was so short tempered. My least favorite would be Spitfire (who I used to love), my opinion of her (and the Wonderbolts as a whole) declined SIGNIFICANTLY over the course of the episode, making her the only 'key' character so far that I actually HATE. With that said, Cheese Sandwich was my second favorite, but Coco Pommel and Silver Shill I couldn't really care about one way or the other.
  12. I've dealt with this myself after encountering the same problem and basically what I'd done is have both of them in my headcanon, but separate in 'alternate universes'. In short; If you enjoy more than one ship, that doesn't necessarily mean you have to stop enjoying the other.
  13. Well, compared to the other ponies I'd always imagined her being at least the size of a mare from our world, so that right there would lead me to assume 'no'. But, even if that weren't the case I'm lead to wonder how much her horn weighs (although, I'm not sure if the wings would be that significant in this calculation), which would add onto that of the aforementioned mare. And then there is her royal attire to take into account (assuming she's wearing it). Given her nature as a teacher, I believe that she would be very patient and understanding of human limitations. Even if she felt sad, one could simply remind her of the biological differences between homo sapiens and equines as the reason such an attempt failed..
  14. Well, I've seen article about this dating back to 2005 and that was nearly a decade ago. I'm not saying that this will never ever happen, but as someone with anxiety I've worried about stuff like this for years (because of sensationalist media-all of which turned out to be false) until I realized there's no point in worrying about something you can't control. It's definitely good that you are trying to look out for those you care about, though.
  15. From when AJ and Applebloom cornered him to the end of the episode I felt that he didn't really have much character outside of being a plot device for giving Applejack her key. I'm not saying he's a bad character, there just wasn't enough to get me invested in him.
  16. Given the date I'm pretty sure when this news was posted, it was an April Fools joke. With that said, to me the only person in the world who could voice Vinyl is Nowhacking.
  17. Yeah! I mean I spoke with my best friend after the episode 'Rarity Takes Manehattan' aired (like we always do) and he said that he really enjoyed it, which shocked me because he DESPISES Rarity.
  18. What you are saying is true, though some people have a legitimate reason to be irritated when some of us have a tendency to be let's say...overenthusiastic about our interests when some of these people legitimately try the show and don't find it to their liking, so I think some (not all) of them are trying to vent out of frustration. It definitely doesn't excuse this type of behavior, but just because someone is a part of this fandom doesn't necessarily mean that they can't act like a bit of a jerk (intentional or not). So neither side is completely innocent-even if a small minority of us are actually like this.
  19. What were your first impression upon hearing about the Wonderbolts and how has your opinion on them changed over time-if at all? Who is your favorite or least favorite and why?
  20. Anything by Dubstep or Skrillex, I don't HATE wubs, but they are definitely overused in this fandom.
  21. Doctor, what happened to your hooves? Sore from all that running?
  22. Before the beginning of the "Reflections" arc I would have believed they were canon. So now, even if it's confirmed as canon-I'll have extreme difficulty believing it as well as having much less respect for the character for being so irresponsible.
  23. What really disturbs me so far is (and I'm probably wrong here) but, with all of the scenes between Celestia and Starswirl in the past, it seemed (to me at least) that THEY were dating and then Celestia fell in love with Sombra, so I felt like there was a whole love triangle thing going on and that was why Starswirl wouldn't even let her say goodbye. It seemed like a PG version of finding out your girlfriend is cheating on you and doing whatever you can to cut off any contact she has with the other guy. Of course, I'm probably overreaching-but, that was the impression I got. Plus, it seems kind of cold that Celestia would say the Starswirl didn't understand friendship in Magical Mystery Cure, when we clearly see in this comic that they (at least in the beginning) were friends. If Celestia was really willing to abandon her sister (who was clearly having issues) as well as a blossoming new kingdom in dire need of strong leadership, then it doesn't really make her look too good.
  24. Well, again like you said it was implied and many (myself included) after having to wait a while will draw certain conclusions for lines of dialogue such as Of course, there is also a subtle possibility that Plus, it doesn't make Celestia look to good when she said that Starswirl either had no friends or didn't understand the value of friendship (I don't remember which) at the end of 'Magical Mystery Cure' which makes her seem like a liar given their relationship in Issue #17. Even if he is 'good', that doesn't necessarily mean they didn't have some sort of romantic involvement, especially since that's the only reason I could see her having to return to the alternate world in the first place.
  25. Probably, given the amount of discussions this particular subject seems to be getting-it doesn't seem like the laws regarding copyright are very clear-so fan artists, fanfic writers, and musicians who don't know the law too well, could easily be intimidated an not want to risk jeopardizing their future careers (like Jan). Regardless of whether Hasbro is right or wrong, I think their intentions should be clear for those of us who aren't entirely certain what fan material they consider to be 'okay'.
