    Honestly, if it wasn't for that movie, I wouldn't be into fantasy as much as I am these days. The movie, and the music especially, touched me in ways no other movie did. It is one of my top-10 favorites; easily.

    Well, it's their opinion, and they're allowed to express it. Likewise we may despise was groups like the KKK and the Westboro Baptist Church stand for & shout about, but they're free to have those beliefs. I may disagree with the so-called 'anti' group, but I won't get in the way of what they're saying.

    Well, I have no problems with things like Pokemon, but I wouldn't call myself a fan. I do like anime I will admit, though my interest has waned. Really, for me, I think the only interests that I have that the general brony population would be into would be things like gaming, sci-fi/fantasy, and maybe certain shows like Game of Thrones. In the end, we're all still unique. XD

    To me, the best PMVs are ones that can take a song and match it up the feeling or atmosphere of whatever they're wanting to capture in the show. To me, it's not about lip-syncing. The important this is timing; at least to me. If you can get the scenes times well enough to the music, then you have a winner for me. Yeah, there are a LOT of PMVs that are rather sub-par and some that are down-right awful, but there are a few that stand out in my eyes.

    What can I say? Zebras are indeed awesome! Zecora is one of the best characters in the show IMO, and I wish we could see more of her species. Plus, I liked how there mention in the "Journal of the Two Sisters" though I will admit the geography doesn't totally make sense. But yeah, Zebras.

    They all have a part to play. While in theory you could have one without the other; it really takes the whole lot to have a strong & true friendship. And honestly, @Jeric said it best, so I'll leave it at that.

    For me, that would easily be "Rarity Takes Manehatten." For me, this had the best combination of voice work, story, character development, & comedy that the season had, and it is easily in my top-5 favorite episodes. Plus, Coco Pommel is a BIG plus as well.

    Well, if bronies would be considered sub-groups of furries, then wouldn't the same be true of fans of Sonic & Star Fox? I mean, if that's what you believe, then more power to yah, but I personally can't see the connection. I mean, bronies are specifically centered around one show while furries are more-a-less a general fandom. And honestly, the definition of a furry is a little complicated. Some treat it like a hobby, while others treat like a lifestyle. I'm not saying some bronies don't so the same, but it's no where near the level that I've seen it with furries (and I'm not saying that it is a bad thing).

    Well, don't get me wrong. She's a favorite character of mine as well, but I haven't seen much reason to deduce the same conclusions that you have. I agree that she has plenty of potential, but whether the writers believe that or not is another story.

    Well, those are some interesting coincidences, but there really aren't more than that. I know one of the more popular fan-canons was that Trixie is Luna's apprentice, and while I do like that, it's a bit of a stretch, However, as previously mentioned, Trixie's repertoire is limited compared to Luna's or even Twilights, and Trixie was an antagonist due to pure ego, where as Luna's was a result of loneliness & jealousy. In the end, they aren't as similar as we might believe. ...thought I do ship them sometimes...

    It's never explicitly stated. I mean I had assumed that it was a public library, but there isn't much evidence to support. Though I will say there was the one episode in season 1 where Twilight & Cheerilee had walked in, only to find that the CMC had raided the books, so.......maybe?

    Well, to be honest, at least they're focusing on something other than things like drugs & alcohol; though I will admit that if they focus on love a little too much, then that can lead to the aforementioned things. In the end, it is a learning experience for young people. They'll experience what they think is love, and they likely experience it end not long afterwards. They'll hopefully learn from that.

    That doesn't necessarily mean he doesn't live in the empire though. Have we even seen Cadence's room? In the end, the alicorns are the one considered royalty. While I am sure power could be shared in theory, Cadence is the one known as the 'crystal princess' to the crystal ponies.

    Well, we really don't know if they hunt or not, but part of me wants to say no. I really haven't seen any indication that ponies are hunters. I would tend to agree. Some sort of artificial or imitation leather would make the most sense to me within the confines of the show.

    Aye. For most unicorns they would either have to be naturally gifted or take rigorous training to achieve any sort of spell that would dominate others. As it stands, most unicorns aren't like that. I mean, I doubt Vinyl, who talent is supposedly centered around music and entertainment, would really dominate a unicorn of...say, Spitfire's caliber, IMO.

    As you said, it largely depends on the artist, and I think this artist is, so far, the bed I've seen in that regard...though his designs are obviously more based on Equestria Girls...it still counts. :3
