  1. Indeed, I love her character. People usually say she doesn't deserve reformation because she's evil, and that there was no reason whatsoever for her to change her ideology, but I strongly disagree. As a person who has lost his only friend, I can tell you how much that can mess up your mind, the loss itself is pretty hard, but growing up with that pain, and specially being an emotionally immature filly, is worse. She didn't turn out evil though, she wanted to create a world in which no one would get hurt, like she did. People, or in this case, ponies, are complex creatures, not every cult leader has a crazy back story of some tragedy. Starlight came up with the idea, and had the natural talent and intelligence to make it happen, but she lost herself trying to accomplish her objective. That's something that happens in the real world and that doesn't make her evil. Her philosophy consisted of 2 things. First, differences are bad. Second, because no one should be better (or different) than anyone else, then no one is essential or more important than anyone. Now, her entire philosophy was proven wrong in the end of the premiere, then she spent months spying the mane 6, and in all that time she should have realized how their differences made their friendship stronger, and then in the end Twilight made her realize the big impact some ponies could have in the world, not only the mane 6, but her old friend as well, who was the reason she almost destroyed Equestria (without meaning to nor being aware of it). Once again her philosophy had been proven wrong, if that's not a good enough argument for her to reconsider stuff I don't know what is. Once she released her anger and frustration by opening up to Twilight, she was able to finally see things right. I don't get why people want her to be punished for "destroying the world". She didn't intend to do it, and more important, she didn't do it. The only ones that were affected by what she did in the finale were Twilight and Spike.
  2. Yes I am. Watching new episodes is always fun, and it keeps me entertained until the season ends. However, most of the old episodes don't feel nearly as good as I remember them, and I feel like now I can only enjoy the newest stuff. Besides, I'm not as excited for season 6 as I was for season 4 and 5, but I know I'll still watch the new episodes every Saturday.
  3. I'm 178 cm (5'10"). Compared to most males in my country I'm pretty tall, so I'm happy with my height, but I wouldn't mind being a little taller. I can still do it, I'm 17.
  4. Only if my hatred for that person has something to do with that thing, like over obssesive fans. Otherwise I think it's silly. Edit: The question wasn't if I would, but if I do, so my answer is no.
  5. I don't plan to watch movies, but I also don't plan not to watch them. The only 2 movies that I know I'll never watch are the Hunter X Hunter movies since they're fillers and not written by the creator, and I don't trust anyone else but him when it comes to write the story. Aside from that, I have very little interest in watching almost any movie that people tell me I should watch because everyone else has, but I wouldn't mind watching them if someone invites me to watch it.
  6. It's interesting how I found this thread, considering I just watched the movie some days ago. I remember seeing it when I was a kid though, but it was never something that kept me interested. After re-watching the movie I simply love it now. Everything from the story, to the music, the beautiful animation and the moral is simply perfect. A lot of people seem to dislike the gargoyles, but they work as a comedic relief and I like to think they're just inside Quasimodo's imagination, which actually works and I think that's what was intended in the first place. I'm guessing it's underrated because most of us saw it as kids, and well, I don't think most kids can truly appreciate the depth of the movie, and the religious and sexual connotations it has (Specially in Hellfire).
  7. This year has been the most "different" year of my life. I moved away from my house, I don't live with my parents anymore, now I'm in a big city, I'm also in college which is way different from high school, I have to manage my own money, also my aunt died and my family is becoming less united thorugh the time. I also found out lots of things about myself, did some dumb things and had some hard times, but overall I'm happier now than before and I'm more confident and mature.
  8. One of the things about having a little sister is that you end up watching a lot of TV shows for girls, and that's how I first saw MLP. As a person who enjoyed watching Barbie movies I didn't have any problem watching ponies, and I knew the show was something else because I actually would watch the episodes myself without my sister. When I found out about bronies I thought it was really cool and that I wanted to be a part of it, so I watched all the episodes and here I am.
  9. I didn't know squad was slang, I like that word. Of all the other words the only one I use is yolo, and I don't really do any yolo worthy things.
  10. I know that feeling, I haven't been able to find a permanent group of friends in college and the people I talk to live far away. It kinds sucks but I'm optimistic.
  11. Tanks For The Memories, the whole episode felt like a bad joke for me, and I had never felt like it watching any MLP episode, not even Power Ponies. This is my least favorite episode ever. Appleloosa's Most Wanted, I disliked it because I have mixed feelings about the moral, plus the CMC went from mature to annoying. What About Discord?, I don't really dislike it, and the moral is really good, but the rest is boring, weird to watch and feels like wasted potential. Princess Spike, other episode that I don't dislike, I just find it boring and wouldn't watch it again. This season is by far doing great, I don't have so much to complain about, and it had less bad episodes than season 1, 2 and 4. Season 3 had less but it also had less episodes.
  12. My favorite season 5episodes: The Cutie Map, by far the best premiere and the second best episode for me (After MMC), though the most solid. Starlight Glimmer is the perfect villain here since she provides an interesting dilemma and is not a magical being from 1000 years ago who can only be defeated through the power of freakin' rainbow lasers. Crusaders Of The Lost Mark, it's like Magical Mistery Cure, and I love it. It also had great character development for DT and the CMC and ended up with a very good conclusion. Amending Fences, because of the clever use of random stablishments from the first episode plus a very good conflict and awesome characterization of Twilight. Besides, I loved Twilight's old school mates. The Cutie Re-Mark, Starlight keeps being an awesome villain, her backstory is cool and so is her reformation (though a little rushed). The rest of the episode is pure epicness. Slice Of Life, because even fanservice needs to be done right. Who cares about the plot making sense? It's an special ocassion! Leave the deep analysis to the next episodes. Bloom And Gloom, because of all the creativity and craziness of the things that happened, plus the lesson, plus more Luna helping the CMC in their dreams. Make New Friends But Keep Discord, because Discord and Fluttershy were amazing here, also I loved Tree Hugger and everything was hilarious. Brotherhooves Social, the whole episode was funny and interesting, but that ending turned something good into something amazing. Rarity Investigates, because it was really hilarious, creative, and Rarity is best pony. I've also been wanting a RarityDash episode for a long time. Canterlot Boutique, nice episode with nice conflict, and also new song from best pony. Made In Manehattan, because the conflict was really good and the lesson feels realistic yet optimistic. Party Pooped and The One Where Pinkie Pie Knows, both because they're full of Pinkie's randomness and humor. Simply hilarious without them having so much depth, which I enjoy from time to time. The Lost Tresure Of Griffinstone, I loved seeing Gilda back and the conflict was cool. I feel like this should be higher but for whatever reason i just don't like it as much as I'd like. The Mane Attraction, cool episode, Rara is a great character and the songs are simply amazing, specially The Magic Inside. However, it was a little rushed and forced to me. Do Princesses Dream Of The Magic Sheep?, it's cool the writers are feeling comfortable with humor and randomness, but in this episode they were way too comfortable with that. The conflict was still cool and so was the resolution, but i feel it could have been done better. I have mixed feelings, but overall it was still really good. I had to do a top 15 (though it actually features 16 episodes) because all those episodes deserved to be mentioned imo. The rest were either average or terrible (Mostly average, there's only 1 episode that I consider terrible).
  13. Alright this is very forced to have me just thinking randomly stuff for the sake of writting it fast for this thread though I'm kind of pulling it off but there are lots of mistakes I'm making cuz I'm writing so fast so if you don't see them i got them fixed cause I don't wanna give you more cancer that the one you'll get for the lack of commas in this very long sentence so badadadadum chiki chiki wow oww zipt sa wiki wiki salami with gummy fluffy panzeroiti. I stopped writing cause everthing stopped making sense
  14. Oh pity, we could have been nice friends, it's also equeally possible that it wouldn't happen, but it could!
  15. I'm not sure if people know me or just ignore my existence, and I also don't know what they think of me, so I probably just have a reputation for being a phoenix
  16. Well my family and some friends know, and if you ask it I won't deny it. However, I don't have merchandise or wear MLP clothing, but thats because I don't usually buy that kind of stuff.
  17. God, that voice... It makes me feel like doing whatever you tell me to do for the rest of my days.
  18. Twilight might be smart and talented, but she has almost no experience in combat. She only had to use combat magic to defeat Tirek, Starlight probably trained a lot before the finale. Besides, she couldn't just go crazy like she did with Tirek. She's close to innocent children who might get hurt or killed, and she didn't even intend to kill Starlight in the first place. About her not getting protection. It was pretty obvious that Starlight was really talented since The Cutie Map, royal guards would be useless for protection. Besides, Twilight couldn't just become paranoid with the threat of Starlight coming back for revenge, in the end she would have gotten away with it anyway, unless of course Twilight asked for an entire army to take care of her, which didn't happen for obvious reasons. Twilight is the princess of friendship, she's not supposed to be good at combat or strategy. She's more of a diplomat, and she's also supposed to be close to the average ponies. She can't just lock herself in a castle being completely unreachable to anyone, that wouldn't be good for her image. Starlight isn't powerful because "reasons". Only a powerful unicorn could have done what she did, and it also serves as a lesson as to why her philosophy was never right to being with. She had to be different and special in order to achieve her goal, which was a society where no one was better than anyone.
  19. There will be CMC in season 6, most fans would be dissapointed if their "adventure that has only just begun" ended.
  20. Alright, so I've watching the finale like a million times and I've just realized now that Rainbow had a prosthetic wing.

  21. Not for me, this season was great and by far the best for me. There were a lot of good episodes that are now my personal favorites and only 1 episode that I disliked. I'm impressed of how they've managed to keep the quality improving after 100+ episodes.
  22. Pizza burgers! Cause who needs arteries anyway? Now seriously. I only like the burgers my mom makes (which are absolutely delicious) while pizza is always tasty, so I'lll stick with pizza.
