  1. I participate in this community so I can achieve the third level of Maslow's hierarchy of needs. The feeling of belonging:
  2. I'm sure blind people wouldn't agree with your conclusion that having audio only is pointless.
  3. Love is not something you simply have. You have to put constant effort into it, and sometimes you get nothing in return. But if you know where to look and what you're looking for, love can be a quick way to happiness.
  4. I've seen them, but only in forum games, and I've never spoken with them.
  5. Welcome to the forums. it's good to have someone with a lot of energy here, because from what I've seen in my days, energetic users come together to make a lively community. I hope you have a great time here. If you need anything, I'll try to help the best way I know how.
  6. I just don't like Fallout 3 because it slaps the previous lore in the face. It's a good game, but in my opinion it's not a good Fallout game.
  7. I don't believe in God, but I don't subscribe to the belief that just because some people do I have to be pompous about my disbelief. In my opinion that would be like bragging that I prefer tea over coffee, nobody really cares.
  8. In my personal opinion, New Vegas is superior. Most people who disagree and prefer 3 do so because 3 was their first game in the series, so NV has too much 'Politicking' for their tastes. I, however, having played Fallout and Fallout 2, appreciate the references to both of those games NV includes, as well as the advancement of the stories of the factions introduced in Fallout 2 (The NCR, for example).
  9. If it's anything like the Oculus Rift, I would get motion sick pretty quick, so it's safe to say I wouldn't play long. Plus, a virtual reality Equestria would just cause me to feel melancholy due to the inability to ever actually go to Equestria. It's a fair question though, and I'm interested to see other people's thoughts on the matter.
  10. My honest guess is that the reason they don't include the hat is that it would add to the production cost, since most of Hasbro's toys are just color-swaps and not actually unique in any way at all.
  11. I dislike touch screens because they add hundreds of dollars to the price but really don't contribute anything valuable to the computing experience.
  12. That's because all Hasbro cares about is making money. If you're looking for quality merchandise, get something custom-made. Usually they're reasonably priced for the quality of what you're getting.
  13. A tie between the games in the Fallout series, for me. Lately I've been quite partial to New Vegas, especially since it draws some lore from my favorite game in the franchise, Fallout 2.
  14. Spike wasn't necessary in previous seasons, either, besides I suppose to make the scenes when Twilight isn't with the other ponies more interesting to watch. I don't think they will get rid of him, if that's what you're trying to suggest.
  15. Yes, it's possible. It's also possible that Twilight fell out of the carriage on the way out from Canterlot, bumped her had, and everything afterwards was a coma, but it's not something likely enough that I'll lose sleep over the chance it's canon. But if you refer to the fact that "Sister" can be an honorary title, it's certainly possible that's the case, especially since we don't know who the parents of either of them are (Or accurately, if they even have parents).
  16. Currently, that honor goes to this one that I rediscovered recently after replaying a certain game for nostalgic purposes. If you can guess which, then give yourself credit for having a good taste in games.
  17. I'm just going to leave this quote here: "When I die, I want to be buried by everyone who has ever done group work with me, that way they can let me down one last time."
  18. I own an Ithaca M37. I'm not particularly worried about anyone who may try to make their way into my humble abode with the intent to harm.
  19. I'd tell them to avoid Derpibooru and DeviantArt like they were the bubonic plague.
  20. I like to believe I have a very cultured and well-educated mannerism of speaking, thank you for noticing. I think that I'll enjoy my time here, especially if it's filled with fine folks like those who have replied to this topic. I did know, but thank you anyway, I always appreciate people who are naturally helpful. I appreciate your welcome.
  21. Lucid dreams are terrifying for me, because my mind is predisposed to worrying, so as soon as I realize it's a dream I think of all the bad things that could happen, almost by reflex, and then they do happen.
  22. This is one of my favorite episodes, mainly because it's a cautionary tale that is a twist on the classic warning that what you want isn't necessarily what's best.
  23. I'm not feeling any emotion in particular that strongly right now. Perhaps satisfaction.
  24. Thank you for the warm welcome. I am familiar with forums in general, so I'll probably find my way around just fine, but I appreciate the offer of help. And thank you for complimenting my name. It means 'Persistent'.
