    I can't really see it being more than a show truly for little girls. Like others have said... Take away Hasbro, the toy line, and 30-some years of past marketing. Youmre left with a show about friendship and magical ponies. I wouldn't be able to bring myself to watch it because it would have to FORCE the kind of creativity that comes in shows like Adventure Time and Frederator Studios, especially when set in a world with restrictions like MLP has. In the least bit, I can't really see a fan base like THIS growing out of that. It would probably spawn it's own toy line and really cater to 9 and younger little girls. That's the way I see it, at least.

    Good point. Then I wonder what that implies- enchanted tickets? I do feel like season 1 worked on a different logic. I'm sure they never expected me to care

    Take a look at the end of S1 E3, "The Ticket Master". Apple Jack appears to somehow grab the ticket with magic and carry it along with her in an orange aura. I think the ticket is able to be controlled by its owner, which also explains Tank's aerial transportation device. Thoughts?

    He's strongly featured as a main character in one of the IDW comic arcs (if you consider them canon). You'd have to read it, I guess ... He is quite a bit like Obi-Wan Kenobi.

    Nice start.... I'm with jackie, I think the body is a little too big and cylindrical (not quite "bean-shaped" enough). Then again, I haven't done any MLP art yet!(besides my avatar)

    FLUTTERPIE. wrong ship. whoops. In the IDW comics, theres an arc that prominently features a pirate ship. In fact, I can't really see why the WOULDN'T have naval transport... they've got plenty of water channels, like in Pinkie Apple Pie.

    I was thinking the EXACT same thing!! I liked her because her shyness and apprehension was really a core part of her character in the earlier seasons! And now, it makes her more bland. Shoot, SHY is in her NAME. I think I want her to be the nice, adorable, shy, unwilling Fluttershy we knew before. I mean, I knew she'd have to change but she thus far has changed too much in too many aspects for me to love/hate her the way I used to. She's rather bland now, I guess. She can be aggressive, I feel like she was a bit mean to Discord in that recent episode.

At the moment we are sort of really scraping for saxophone players- we're not really on any time crunch or anything, but it seems that in general it's really tough to find good brony saxophone players who are interested.     Yup, I feel like they sort of "opened the flood gates". I feel like the new method is the representative that the show is widening its demographic and general appeal. I DO want more of the Mane 6, but I'm liking the season a lot anyway!

    The music is pretty awful to be honest. I found only maybe two out of both that I actually sort of liked- Trixie's song (because of its unique style) and "Awesome as I Want to Be" because it is just SO BAD and absolutely describes Rainbow in every aspect. All the others were just generic "inspirational" pop songs for little girls, if you ask me.

    The Stanley Parable, for sure. Also the Wii U versions of Super Smash Bros and Mario Kart look AWESOME. I'm not a big gamer, unfortunately.

    I can't afford to NOT quote this one. It's pretty hilarious to me, really! So I guess there are the two camps... one says they writers/artists choose them because they are relatable... but I love what the other thoughts are! I think its logical that ponies would simply trade and adopt the existing technologies. The theory that different equine races were one enemies is certainly interesting! I personally would have to go with that humans are/were a thing at some point. I actually really believe that (if you've read and accept IDW comics AND EQG) Celestia could've entered some portal to the human world ages ago and brought the technology with her, as well. That's a possibility.
