  1. I was super afraid of dogs, too. I got bit by a Dalmation when i was a toddler, and forever hated a certain Disney classic. Only these past two year have I warmed up to dogs, because my family dog Buddy is such a loveable little goof.
  2. I realize that this won't be a very helpful answer, but I think there's no point trying to adapt it to fit canon lore. As you said, it was conceived way before all these details were ever established, so of course it does more than diverge from the show's timeline. However, it is because of this that I think leaving it as it is is the best route. Fallout Equestria is one of the earliest "big" pony fics out there. I really enjoy going back and reading it, because it's like a blast to the past. I reread details and I think, "Man, remember when we thought that?" It was big because it made a good story out of one big "What if?" Bending over backwards to fill in the blanks feels like it would take the magic out of it. I think it should just remain appreciated for the gem it is, and the world it created on its own.
  3. That is a tough one. I'm no game critic, so I can't break down exactly what works and doesn't work in each game, but I know which one I enjoyed less. When I played Sonic 06, I disliked it because it felt like it was cheating. The broken gameplay made it hard to understand and harder to beat. I disliked Sonic Boom because everything about just screamed lazy. I kind of enjoy the Sonic Boom cartoon, so I expected that at least maybe the dialogue would be funny. But it wasn't. The whole game was boring, repetitive, disengaging, and sloppy. I was trying to be positive about Sonic Boom when it was a huge scandal in the Sonic fandom, so it left me feeling very disappointed. It didn't even keep with the tradition of "bad Sonic game, awesome soundtrack". So in my opinion, Sonic Boom ranks lower than Sonic 06.
  4. I don't imagine much will happen at all. Fan content may slow down. The big cons won't go anywhere. A bunch of people will leave, or threaten to leave, and most will come back once G5 hits.
  5. She can talk. She's done a few times in the background. It's just that the fandom would eat itself alive if her voice was anyone's besides Nowhacking.
  6. Canonically, no. At least, there hasn't been any definitive yes or no proof. This question has been up in the air since before I became a Brony, and I doubt it'll ever get answered (though I remember on a discussion of a YouTube video a couple years back some folks were talking about some show staff, I can't recall who, said FlutterDash was the most likely to become a pairing out of the mane six ships. Take that with a grain of salt). Honestly, I would prefer if they left that unanswered. As much as I enjoy Flutterdash, having it open to interpretation is probably for the best. That way folks can have their headcanons, and Hasbro won't have to deal with the shitstorm of featuring a lesbian main character.
  7. Steven Spielberg? I would watch that in a heartbeat. He got the magic touch. Now music, I'm not too picky on. Though I do have this fantasy of Adam Young writing and producing a song for a My Little Pony movie. It clicks in my head: a lot of his songs have a wondrous, magical, awe-inspiring tone. He's made music for animated movies in the past. And though he doesn't interact with his fans online as much as he did back in his MySpace days, given the Owl City PMVs out there, I would be surprised if he wasn't aware of the show, at the very least. Ah, but I dream.
  8. "Why does anyone like any TV show? I think it's good." That's exactly what I said the one time I was actually asked that question in person.
  9. I just assumed they became friends, and the romance came at a later date. The way I've heard it described, the person you love so much that you would commit to marriage should be your best friend. I guess that sounds kind of weird, but it makes sense to me. Why and how would anyone fall in love with someone they're not friends with?
  10. I want to say video games, but I hardly play nowadays. I guess voice acting. Getting roles ain't easy, but I enjoy doing stuff with my voice.
  11. It's occurred to me that I don't have many friends because I'm not particularly sociable. I'm usually open, if prompted, but I decided to go a step further. I've been here for almost 3 years now, may as well. So, ask away, if you feel like it. I'm an open book.
  12. Absolutely. I watched older gens because of FiM. No reason why I wouldn't watch a new one.
  13. The scariest moment I faced in gaming was when I was playing Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets. There are certain levels where you have to be all sneaky and ninja past some sort of sentry and DEAR GOD THERE IS NOTHING MORE TERRIFYING THAN MAKING IT ALL THE WAY TO THE END OF THE RESTRICTED SECTION AND HEARING "HEY WHAT ARE YOU DOING IN HERE!"
