1. I was about 12ish.
2. Not much anymore. I just think it's fun and cute.
3. Yes.
4. My dad was pretty embarrassed by it. So was my mom, but she came around eventually. My brother pretends to hate it, but he often watches the show and fan videos on his own when he thinks he won't get caught.
5. I don't get treated differently very often. Any time I receive any sort of acknowledgement of it is when someone compliments my Rainbow Dash snapback or MLP t-shirt.
6. I've gotten trash talk online, but I've learned to put up with it. It's not nearly as common nowadays, anyway.
7. I guess just the whole concept. On one hand you have people saying it's weird, creepy, unnatural. On the other you have people saying it's about fun, friendship, and creativity. In reality, it's an odd mashup of both. Everywhere you have people saying it's just a fad, and any day now it will surely die. But it hasn't. Everyone expects the Brony fandom to be wildly different, and to some extent it is, but it is also like every other fandom, in the sense that it is just that: a fandom. Nothing extraordinary, just a bunch of people who like a cartoon.
