    So I've been seeing the Making Christmas Merrier campaign going on for a while now and I've personally been feeling sad that I can't contribute to it since I'm a high school student with no money. Because of this, I've decided to make a thread where we can share other good things we're doing for others this Christmas(and beyond!) as well as share ideas on things we can do. As a note, this thread is for everybody and not just those who aren't able to donate. Also, it's not supposed to make anyone feel guilty for not donating. I guess I'll start with saying that I've been trying to be really friendly with someone who's only recently started coming to my church and seems really shy. So what are you ponies doing this Christmas to make Christmas merrier?

    For a long time I viewed all three of them equally, but recently, I've been really liking Sweetie Belle a lot more. At least for some episodes, she seems to be the most rational, while also really cute!

    That's an awesome video! I love the way they did O Holy Night. Black Gryph0n is probably my favourite brony musician. It amazes me how he's been able to become friends with the VAs.

    I think it would be cool to see a spin off about Twilight's old friends in Canterlot. Since Amending Fences, I've been wanting to see more of those characters. I doubt there would be an actual spin off series, but I wouldn't be surprised to see them again in a future episode.

    Oh yeah, The Fear of Flight is awesome! Also, you should really check out Black Gryph0n. He even does some collabs with a couple of the show's VAs!

    I like all of the stuff from Black Gryph0n. I also like Aviators and Carbon Maestro. The first fan song I heard though was Rainbow Factory... with an SFM... after midnight... I listen to different stuff now.

    I really don't know what my reputation is here. I don't make tons of posts and I've only been here for a few months. If I do have a reputation though, I don't think it's a bad one. (At least I hope it's not!)

    I've got the Rock n Rave 2 player set as well as a canterlot nights booster pack. I only have my sister to play with though. There is a hobby/games shop in my city that does a demo of the game every month or so. I went to one, but I don't think there's much of a community to play it with here, at least not one that's very organized.

    I'm really hoping to get the RD plushie for christmas. I dream of having all of them one day though! The only plushie I have is a Fluttershy one (not 4de though). Once I get the 4de RD, I think I'll try to get Fluttershy one next.

    Dash was pretty beat up, but when you think about it, she was probably the only one who could take it.

    I used to collect pencils and I've also got a few coins, but recently all my focus has been on ponies.

    I'd love to see the movie in theaters! I probably can't though because I intend to be serving a mission for my church when it comes out and it would take special permission for me to go and see it. Also, I wouldn't be allowed to go alone and I don't expect I'd be able to find another missionary who'd be interested in MLP. Oh well, I still expect it to be worth the wait!

    I'm personally hoping that season 6 will include more of the characters from Amending Fences. It confuses me that even after Twilight made friends with them again, they went straight back to being background characters with no interaction with Twilight. I don't want them as main characters, but I think it would be nice to see them taking a small role in an episode now and then.

    I admit that when I said Twilight, I didn't really have much of a sypnoses on my mind. It was more of just a gut feeling. Thinking about it though, I think Groban would be good in an episode about love. Not necessarily about "true love" though. I'm thinking that prehaps in an episode about Shining Armor and Cadence's newborn baby, there could be a large family gathering where maybe Groban's character is a musician with a lack of inspiration. Twilight might have to help him regain some inspiration useing the feeling of love that comes from Shining and Cadence's family. I'm really not that good at thinking up stories though.

    I agree with that. Though I think it's more of a combination of both shyness as well as being anti-social. I've always viewed shyness as being a fear of socialization and being anti-social as a lack of interest or basic dislike of socialization. It seems that Marble is so shy that even the slightest bit of socializing scares her so much that she doesn't even have an interest in attempting to face her fears which makes her anti-social.

    Fluttershy has always been my favourite pony, yet I also really like Marble Pie. I guess I would consider her to be an almost secondary Fluttershy. I'd like to see more of Marble in season 6. I think Marble is currently more shy than Season 1 Fluttershy, yet I could see the writers doing something with her in the future. Maybe there could be an episode where Fluttershy helps Marble Pie overcome some of her shyness.

    I'd have to agree with everyone else here so far and say that MLP is excellent in teaching good morals as well as being very entertaining. That's what I love about the show.

    Seeing what the writers did in S5, I actually wouldn't be surprised to see some more of Starlight's history in S6. I agree that we still know very little about her. I don't think there's any way that losing a childhood friend could have been the only factor in making her who she is in S5. I'm guessing that it just sparked a chain reaction combined with other events in her life to make her decide to learn high level magic and create that sameness town. I also think she will be a very interesting addition to the main cast as her personality and background open up a lot more episode ideas.

    That would be so awesome! I think it would be really cool to have him in the show. There's so many good singers out there though, I doubt it would happen. It's fun to think about though! I'm not sure which pony he'd fit with. Twilight comes to mind, but I think it could be any of the mane 6.

    I have noticed that this season had a lot of helping other ponies overcome whatever struggle they had. Even the CMC were doing this. It does seem to be the theme of the whole season. I agree with your idea of the episodes concerning past, present, and future. I think it's cool to see how the characters are growing and progressing to a level where they have fewer problems among themselves and are able to do more of helping others. And good job on writing such a long post. It's nice to hear some depth now and then.

    From what I could tell, the ending seemed to suggest that Starlight would be a main character. Twilight appears to be her only friend and Twilight also said she'd teach Starlight about friendship. I think we'll just have to wait for Season 6 to see what actually happens though.

    I was amazed at how dark this episode got! I think it's my favourite two-parter now. There were a lot of things I didn't see coming in this episode.

    I really don't know where my favourite holiday spot would be. I've only ever been to a few places on the western side of north america as well the Canadian maritimes once when I was 3 years old. I'm interested in checking out Vancouver or Disneyland someday though.
