  1. Rad old-school Lexus ES 250. Rare and uncommon for a normal car. Presumably only around 30,000 where only made, brought and sold over here from Japan for just two years. I have a affinity for old JDM cars and this was more interesting than the LS 400 of the same vintage. You don't see these anymore due to the few number of them being made, hand-me-down negligence, lack of care/maintenance and the public's overall general perception that it was just a fancy Camry but a close look reveal otherwise. This was the beginning of the Lexus brand. The ES 250 was quickly overshadowed by the bigger, more sensational LS 400 Luxury sedan alongside its inception and after a short two year run, the ES 250 was no more. ...and yes this was how more creative the marketing was back at this time. Sliding in the rain like some sort of playful, rampaging puppy. I welcome more of this even for normal cars. The quick lived ES 250 was eventually replace with a new model, the ES 300 but the charm, nostalgic and early roots of the original was lost in the process. Long live the ES 250, the Forgotten Lexus.
  2. I find that the show referencing the Movie to not be well received in Season 8. I am unfavorable of the Movie also because of what events did happen and did not happen during the Movie. Lost/wrong characterization, cramped devoid storytelling and the amount of change whilst still being considered canon to FiM really makes the Movie an unnecessary and odd addition to the show as a whole. It does not fit anywhere and anytime in the way that the show can potentially benefit from.
  3. It's going to be a very hot day well into 100°. It's been months with no rain and the dryness is typical for this climate.
  4. Pizza usually destroys me...so I rather go with burgers.
  5. A terrifying confrontation by gunman was the absolute most worst feeling that had ever shaken me. The possible end of my life was all I can feel. I was powerless, scared, trembling with fear with no sense of what will happen to me. I'm glad that the worst didn't happen and luckily still here. It's haunting and very disturbing when I recalled that very moment.
  6. I live in California so it's as worst as it can be here. Just about everything, especially when people drive in the rain due to our dry climate. It's like they never see rain before and absolutely must overreact to every drop.
  7. My most liked and favored artwork of Starlight.
  8. I'm easy to make friends and keep them close to me.
  9. I never do because I don't want a picture of me to falling into the wrong hands. I don't even use any social media sites like what other people are doing nowadays because I want my privacy and keep my life to myself.
  10. Idk what to say...It feels like the same sort of stuff we seen before. All the fighting, jealousy, villain, denying, forgivness...nothing really much, tbh. What's with the serious amount of blushing with this one? C'mon Hasbro don't go this route just to be relevant now. Eqg don't need it.
  11. Pretty excited for a weekend gateway to the mountains. Going to test all of my photography gear up at the lake. Beautiful sunsets, starry nights, vast vistas and spending time with love ones.
  12. The last part when the Mean 6 shrivelling and turning into "raisins" before they were "killed" is a bit disturbing tbh...but the rest of the episode is really good because the real Mane 6 never really acknowledged them and they finally made-up and forgiven each other without further complicating the conflict. The resolution is good and leaves the speculation of Chrysalis's further plans for revenge.
  13. Photography is my main hobby. Nothing too crazy but I collect old lenses and use them on my mirrorless camera. I love the vintage style and character of old lenses mixed with the modern body design.
  14. Once about four years ago. It was for Hillsong Winter Jam.
  15. Starlight's listening face. The animators are so proud right now. This is all I'll ever remember in season 8.
  16. Trying to be more healthy and active again, naturally being in nature also is enjoyable and good. I see the time to find a chance to look forward at a mountain hike or nature walk. Carry all of my camera equipment and gear too, setting forth a good day to hone in on my skills too.
  17. It's summer and maybe it's time to go to the beach. Seaside cliffs, cool crisp air and of course spend the time with the family.
  18. Not as strong as season 7. With the follow-up of the Movie, I supposed the show would be riding on gained momentum for now usually recalling the events of the Movie. The School of Friendship, new students and new characters(which the latter occurrs at almost every episode now) and of course Spike's huge accomplishment. The show feels more opened which is good in a world building aspect. Consistency wise, some episodes are good while others don't do it for me. Mane characters are a mix bag of reception and the lack of songs this season just feels void compared to earlier performances. The show is wrapping up as a whole so I can't expect more but that depends on what happens later or not. I'm still holding out for Season 9 to maybe rekindled the interest I originally had. Season 8 so far had its ups and downs but I personally think it's weaker by far. Time will tell on how well it ages.
  19. Another good episode of Season 8. Some highlights: •The cmc's becomes friendship tutors. •Starlight's guidance counselor role comes into play and saves the day. •Cozy Glow learns about friendship and help support the cmc's. •We see get to see more of the mane 5 as there roles as teachers. •Winged Spike continuity. I can see this episode, Twilight did raised some concern in regarding to who can go to her school and how she reacted towards the cmc's. A little harsh...but at least Starlight was the one with the right idea, listening and supporting her students when they needed help. The resolutions were good even when everything was shaky but it held up strong at the end.
  20. I collect some old 35mm film cameras primarily for their lenses. When it comes with a old roll of used, undeveloped film that is inside the camera, it's mysteriously intriguing. I have several rolls of them lying around and this can be someone's life in pictures just waiting to be developed but never did. Weird that I hold them even if it's not mine. I feel like that someone's memories are just sitting there. Maybe I should get them developed but it's not right to look through someone else's pictures.
  21. Tech giants in Silicon Valley. Apple, Tesla, AMD, Intel, Cisco...etc Lots of natural produce like fruits and nuts. Pistachios, Almonds, Oranges, Cabbage, Cauliflower...etc I suppose and know that we have quite the largest automotive following in the country. Lots of people who likes all kind of cars. Several racetracks and car events in the sunny climate. Maybe hipsters also...
  22. I think I have overstayed my welcome. I have no reason to leave either. I feel like Starlight right now...just on and off
  23. Happen to be in the neighborhood...feeling a bit nostalgic about my time here, reflecting and looking back. Find some old posts from years ago and having a couple laughs at the same time.
