  1. I happily see any picture you feel comfortable to share, but this being MLP related site, let's go with Cadence and Starlight. I have never watched Steven Universe, but if I remember correctly my friend said once it was good. Should I give it a go?
  2. There is 7 times more vitamin C in skin of an apple than in actual pulp.
  3. Let's see, I'm bearded man with glasses in my late 20's, so far rather stereotypical, but My relation to ponies and animals in general is platonic I don't find cartoon characters/ponies sexually attractive I find any sexual content or interaction involving minors disgusting and wrong (and so will hopefully every else in these forums) I'm heterosexual (Is being gay really common stereotype about bronies? I always thought that they would be rather viewed as hetero beta-males) I'm not a virgin I don't live with my parent and I'm employed I have served in army I like sports I have many good friend and active social life I don't care about magna, anime or cosplay Don't really care about technology or computers (still have my thrustworthy Nokia 3310) I don't have any pony related items Haven't participated in any fandom convention of any sort
  4. I like this one, strong outlines give it depth and help picture to pop up from paper. Well done. I always tend to left my own drawings too pale when using normal wooden coloured pencils. I saw you had posted quite a bit older pictures, have any recent ones to show too?
  5. As in every large group of induviduals, there are people with different personalitys and habits. Some bronies fit better in this general stereotype of geek with no friends and pimpled face. Others can be complete opposite, being athletic, outgoing and not intersted in computers and games at all. Bronies can be very heterogeneous croup since only link between them can be loving MLP. But yes, stereotypies tend to have some thuth in them. In generally one could presume that bronies, like members in every other fandom would be little more quirky and less talented in social situations. But bad hygiene? Nah, doubt that. Most of us are "normal" working people who wouldn't stand out in bus stop.
  6. My ruler and country needs my efforts? What an honor, Celestia have choosen me from all of the other ponies in Equestria! This task is so important that she gives it to me, rather than asking help from her own pupil and fellow-princess or captain of the royal guard. I'm flattered and after completing this secret mission, also filthy rich! What I know these pills could just be some cough medicide. And even if they would be dangerous, I'm confident that who ever is going to drink that tea have done something horrible to deserve this to happen. After all she is a princess, she knows what have to be done. For princess, for Equestria!
  7. What Bakudan stated would be proper way to interact with Equestrian ponies, if one petting them would be indeed human. But original scenario was that both of you were ponies. Would it be ok to hug and pet them like we would do to real animal? What we can understand from show, ponies are almoust identical to humans. They are sentient beings with rules of behaviour and etiquette similar or at least very close to ours. Thus, petting them would be considered as rude and creepy if random person would start to cuddle with you without asking your permission first.
  8. I'm as good as dead, that pony's hoof is going to breake my glasses in to a million peaces.
  9. Door opens. You walk in but cant't see anypony standing in the doorway. However, you notice that doorhandle is surrounded by violet magical orb that fades away after door closes behind you. You can hear somepony walking in upstears.
  10. "What is this strange portal?", Twilight whispers: "Something have to be done to stop this madness! Who knows what horrid creature will come through next!"
  11. Sweet! Can't wait the rebirth of fanmade content, when bronies get some new material to work with.
  12. Yeah, there's nothing to be added, Hasbro would definitely shut it down as fast as they would heard about it. Even though, I would be more than happy to fund this kind of project. This could be possiple only in distant future, when Hasbro have lauched new generation and stopped everything related to FiM. Maybe.. More likely is that they would still shoot fanprojects like this down, only because they wouldn't profit from them. It sucks, but I can't really blame them. If we think this from Hasbro's perpective, brands only reason is to make money for it's owners and stockholders, not make fans happy for free...
  13. They sure are more ceremonial than useful I always had issues with that war scene in "Cutie Re-Mark" where earth pony armys clash together in the battlefield. Unicorns -being op "master race"- would have wiped them off with ease, guess same goes with pegasi. Physical strenght would clearly be useless against creatures with magical abilitys. Yet writers wanted to include this rather weak pony army in the series. It's an interesting idea, but not flesh out as well as it could have. Now guardsmen are just silly supporting character that only get in trouble. For story standpoint their role is basically just be stereotypical high school jocks or alternatively "damsels in distress", to show audience how desperate situation is before mane six rushes to save the day. . With minor changes guards could actually have been kinda cool, somewhat like wonderbolts. Also, I can't understand why they are all male. Show does excellent job speaking behalf of equality, but then starts to divide occupations for gender basis.Guards had potential, but they are maybe my least favourite faction. If they aren't even remote useful or interesting, why they had to be added to show in the first place. Well, this is just my bit exaggerated opinion of course, feel free to disagree. When it comes to princesess and them being demigods able to control heavenly bodies, two sisters (sadly Luna particularly because of her limited screen time) don't always feel that powerful to me. Of course Twilight is protagonist and saving Equestria is her task, but I would love to see other princesess being victorious for change. Especially in the movie these wonderful characters were neglected completely. Hopefully in upcomig season/s our monarch's role is something more interesting than being captured time after time. By the way, are these comics something I should invest? I have long been curious about them.
  14. Wait what, in 19 days? Where have I lived these last months? Time flies when you forget what you were waiting for in the first place... Since this year so many top athletes are banned from the olympics because of doping scandals, I'm looking foward to see surprise winners. It get's very boring very fast if same names win every single year. One of my favourite memories from winter games is from years ago when skier- I think he was australian or spanish, anyways from warm country with hardly any snow and even fewer winter olympic medals - with zero chances to win finished third and won bronze. He was so happy and bewildered that he didn't know what to do after crossing the finishing line. It's always great to see underdogs doing well.
  15. In Equestria there is no shortage of evil individuals who spread mischief and mayheam where ever they roam. Were it brainwashing and cutie mark stealing ponywizard, notorious conman brothers or hungry pack of timberwolfs, you name it, ponies have suffered from that scourge. On the contrary, law enforcement are much more rarely seen fenomenom. Even though we have seen royal guards from the very first episode of the show and quite impressive war efforts against King Sombra in one of Starlight's alternative futures in season 5 finale, ultimately saving the day seems always depend on certain alicorn and her friends. Kindom of Equestria have serious lacks on its armed forces, police corps and justice department, all which are needed to guarantee and maintain order and society's civil peace. Military presence can only be seen in capital Canterlot. City is under attack so regular basis that defending crown and it's subjects should be rather familiar concept for Celestia's soldiers? Nope. As it turns out, wooden spears aren't that effective against magical beasts... Polices patrol in busy streets of Manehattan and ponies of Appleloosa have local sheriff and his deputys watching over their settlement. But how about poor Ponyville and it's citizens? Whenever Beebear or GREAT AND POVERFUL TRIXIE appears, peasants are left on their own. "Where is justice?!", frightened and angry mares and stallions cry. Clad you asked. Ponies don't have justice department that would punish wrongdoers. They are either banished to the moon or gently lectured. Simple! Equestria's form of goverment is autocracy and absolute monarchy. However, capital have representavive democracy in form of town hall. Smaller communities such as Ponyville have only ceremonial occupation of city mayor. She mostly hosts openings of new hospital wards and another festivitys. (But since she is so ravishing looking bird, I ignore her uselessness for townfolks wellbeing.) Equestria: functional, fair and fantastic?
