  1. Happy valentine's everyone! ^w^

  2. Yeah, here it is, with all it's glory, the first video interview, and lucky for you guys it's with the guy who has the 2nd most sexy voice on the forums. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R74S0QRLSs4 Caution: I dropped an f-bomb, and his voice may or may not cause you to squirm uncontrollably.
  3. It's 2 AM and I'm not tired. Thank you mono ;D

  4. OH, OH, PICK ME! I wanna join this soooo much, here's my OC (a.k.a. my ponysona) River Bank (stallion). This is going to be the best RP ever /)^3^(\
  5. Who knows, maybe they just didn't want Twilight alicorn in the comics, ever, which is why she isn't one, it could happen. What I mean is that it doesn't necessarily mean Twilicorn is here to stay, it could just mean that the comic series decided to ignore it.
  6. Haters don't have what we call "common sense" or "human emotions", they just want to spread their hate everywhere and get attention like a virus. Because of that, we probably can't stop them, but we don't have to acknowledge them either, so if you manage to let it go it's a win-lose situation, which is good because I don't like haters. Also, suicide won't solve a whole lot, it won't do anything good that's for sure, if you want to find a way to make any sort of pain go away, go to psychiatrist, that's what I did, granted I wasn't suicidal but still, it's a very good solution. You should talk to your parents or someone else about getting an appointment with a psychiatrist.

  8. Here, freaking, interview, with Alex-Kennedy, whoop-dee-freakin'-doo. You can tell I'm tired huh? 1. When did you first become a fan of the show, and what drew you towards the fandom itself? I first became the fan of the show sometime in late August (or maybe early September, I don't remember exactly). The story of how I ended up watching the show is long, stupid, and ultimately disappointing. At the beginning of the school year (I'm a freshman at community college) only a couple of my friends could drive, which made hanging out at each other's houses difficult if one of them didn't show up or was too lazy to pick everyone up or whatever. My friend Ben, who would later become infamous for being a scumbag, never wanted to go pick up one of my other friends, who lived really far away. I felt bad about my friend not being included, so I made a deal that if I watched mlp, he would pick up my other friend whenever it was necessary. He also agreed to watch Highlander as part of the deal. Of course my other friend got his driver's license the next week, and Ben never watched Highlander, but on the upside, I got ponies. I had never actually heard of bronies before that, and I didn't even know there was a new generation of mlp. I thought it was just something stupid my friend was making me do. Then I learned how big the fanbase was, and I realized that I really liked the show, but I've never been one to have much activity in any online community, so it was months before I did anything about it. Finally, I stumbled on this forum via google, and for whatever reason, I decided to join, not expecting to stay for more than an hour or so. As fate would have it, I'm still here after several months, and this place has basically taken over my entire life. 2. Who is your favorite character from the show, and why? I always struggle to name one favorite character, but for whatever reason I've narrowed it down to either Fluttershy or Luna. Luna, because she's really funny in Luna Eclipsed, and I really like her design, and Fluttershy because she's adorable and I love the whole tree thing. Oh, and assertive Fluttershy was awesome. Also, Iron Will is best minor character. 3. How do you feel about the cease and desist of Fighting is Magic? I barely even knew about it, honestly. I looked at the site one time and thought, "yeah, this looks pretty cool", but I hardly ever play games on my computer anyway. Something about the feel of it just doesn't work for me. I will say, though, that people shouldn't be as surprised and angry as they are. Hasbro owns MLP and it's well within their rights to say that a game can't be made based off of it. Still, it does really suck for the people who were excited about it, and I can see how it seems unfair. 4. If you had to choose one thing to stick with, and you could never have the other, would you choose the show or the fandom? The fandom would just be strange and pointless without the show, and I wouldn't have had any reason to be interested in it in the first place. I was quite content before I became involved in the fandom, so I imagine I could do without it if it were to disappear. 5. Is there anything the fandom has done that wasn't okay with you? I've mentioned this before, but I really hate all the grimdark stuff the fandom has produced. A big part of what I love about the show is the purity and innocence of it, and to see it corrupted really doesn't sit right with me. I also don't like the porn stuff for the same reason. I realize, though, that it's inevitable that those things will show up in any fandom, and there's not much you can do but accept it and try to stay away if you don't like it. 6. What do you predict 5 years from today in the fandom's future, and will you still be a part of it by then? Well, depending on how long the show continues, the fandom may have broken up by then. If it is still going strong, then I would like to think I'll still be a part of it. I don't think gen 5, whenever it happens, will have the same kind of magic that attracted people of both genders and all ages to gen 4, and as a result, I think it's inevitable that once the show is over, the fandom will begin to decay without any new material to fuel it. That doesn't necessarily mean it will go away entirely, though, and I hope it doesn't. 7. Apples or oranges? Well, I have a surprisingly long answer to that. I used to like oranges much better than apples, but then I realized apples give me a chance to show off my knife skills, which is always fun. It depends on the kind of apple, though, whether I like it better than oranges. Also, I prefer clementines over oranges. No, I didn't know they were called clementines either. I thought they were tangerines. Also, happy valentine's everyone! Hope you all got dates, I know I do
  9. Thank you Flipturn sooo much for teaching me Spanish /)^3^(\ My friends are gonna be surprised tomorrow morning :)

  11. To me, MLP:FiM is only important because of the fandom. Don't get me wrong I love the show, but I wouldn't be anywhere near as much into it if it weren't for this amazing fandom. So, it's a source of revenue pretty much, because I mostly already stand by most of the lessons in the show, and I did so before I even started watching it, so, you know, whatevs.
  12. I think my worst trait is also my best trait. It's the fact that I'm logical and reasonable more than anything, which could be both good and bad, depends on who I am talking to most of the time. I don't let emotions get to me, but I try to care for others' emotions, I tend to say the truth even when it's brutal, because it's probably better than lying, probably. I don't know, I'm also like, very complicated, so yeah I dunno, maybe what I said is true, maybe it's just a phase, you can't know. At least I hope I stay like this, but I can't say for sure, I'm only 14 after all.
  13. Guys, we are humans, not ponies, start referring to people as such.

Fair enough, and how exactly did you manage to get a computer? I assume people don't just hand out electronic devices to equines.

Ponies can type with hooves the same way Strongbad types with boxing gloves on.

  14. I've had experience with guitar, trumpet, piano and drums, and by far the drums. It's SO much fun playing the drums, and so easy too.
  15. Personally, I don't have anything to compare it to, because I only became a brony after season 2 ended, so I don't know how it is with having 26 episodes. However, I will say that I don't mind it that much, because aside from Games Ponies Play I liked all of the episodes. So really, it maybe could have been better with 26 episodes, but I'm not complaining, I got what I wanted, which is good episodes.
  16. We can split this question into 2 parts, biological and social. Let's just assume for a second that when I say social I mean modern world country where women have equal rights. From a biological stand-point, it's pretty obvious, men don't have to worry about most things that happen to women, for instance menstruation, or child-birth. Girls also tend to be more emotional than boys, which could be either positive or negative, depends on the individual, but either way they probably go through more emotional bull-shit than boys. So, men have it easier by a long-shot. Now, there's still the social aspect. In today's society, men are judged much quicker than women, they are automatically put into some gender roles as where women can like what men like and just be considered a tough girl, nothing more to it, but with men, if they like what women like, they are considered weak or gay, or something. I hope that last one will change soon by the way. When it comes down to it, both genders have their ups and downs, and really there's no one definitive way to say which gender is better, so I can conclude that no gender has it better.
  17. I just beat Bastion, and I'm doing new game plus on it, that's a hella good game. Also I beat Antichamber a few days ago, it wasn't as hard as it sounded most of the time, just have to go with the flow in that one. On a more general note, I play TF2 and LoL a lot.
  18. Dude, not every brony is a clopper, and not every clopper is a brony. Cloppers and bronies just share their likenesses for the ponies, that's literally all they have in common. Me, I'm both, but I know that most bronies aren't cloppers, that's a very well known fact, and that not all cloppers are bronies. You really shouldn't jump to conclusions my friend.
  19. On the contrary actually, I felt like that during the summer, but that changed when season three started. Before season three I wasn't an active brony while the show had episodes coming out. I mean before the season started I never experienced the fandom while a season was going on, because I joined the fandom after season 2 ended. I don't think there's really any sort of scale or measurement for being 100% brony, because to be a brony all you have to do is think of yourself as one, nothing more to it. You don't even have to like the show, you could just like the concept and the fandom, and vice-versa, you could just like the nice people in the fandom, it doesn't really matter. As to if I consider myself 100% brony, well, I don't know, I really can't determine something like that. Don't get me wrong I love the show and the fandom and everything that happened to me since I became a brony as a brony, but there's just no way of saying if someone is "100%" brony or not. You could say that because I don't make any contributions to the fandom, that makes me less than 100% brony, or because I watch other things than just ponies, then I'm not 100%. There's no actual way to say if someone is "100%" brony, but that's not really the point. Oh wow I just realized I went off topic there. If you feel distant, then perhaps you're not as much involved in the fandom as much as you used to be, that doesn't make you any less of a brony, that is, if you still want to be one. The only case where you would stop being a brony is where you stop considering yourself as one, so, there you go, there's a sure-fire way of telling if someone is a brony or not, if they think themselves as a brony or not, that's your scale.
  20. Receive a dictionary BITCH insert the broad side of my ass
  21. If I were still human, I would go to Lyra's house for a surprise party :3 If I were my ponysona however, I would go testing my body for one, and then fly to Cloudsdale, to see how that is. Generally I would explore. I would want to go meet the CMC and specifically Sweetie Belle, but I would be too old to hang out with them I think. And yes, that too
  22. Of course dude! Not that there's a scale of how much a brony is a brony but if there was you would be in the top 5! You are, without a doubt a brony, that is, if you want to consider yourself as one, I won't force any titles on you
  23. Yes, because the casual gamer crowd has grown, game developers had to make games accessible, so they had to make them easier. However, there are still games that will kick the living shit out of you if you don't know what you're doing, such as Antichamber, that game is supposedly hard as balls, not for me personally because I got used to it very quickly, but most gamers will have SUCH a hard time trying to beat it if they don't try it right. As a generalization, a big YES, but that's because the market has changed, not because the games are inherently becoming easier.
  24. I am a guy, and if I were female for a day I would just be curious as to how the anatomy works really. I hope this doesn't sound perverted but I'm really interested in biology, so I would just want to see how it fairs at first person. I mean, I know how the body works from 8th grade biology classes, but still. Once again, I hope this doesn't make me a sick bastard.
