  1. Goblins from Final Fantasy. One of the first grunt-like enemies that I've encountered that actually had a menacing design for such a weakling.
  2. Well, it seems the tie has been broken. I'm willing to start this up again, but should I just start over with a new format that works more efficiently or should I just keep this tournament going?
  3. If it's a game I'm really good at and I memorize to death, such as Crash Bandicoot or Spyro The Dragon, I will try to do speed-runs, no death runs, or even "no special moves" runs (yes, there are ways). If it's a game that I can't really master or memorize the paths a whole lot, then I just play it for fun and try to study the game as quick as possible.
  4. I never usually play online matches on my PS3 or Wii but when I do, it's actually really tame when it comes to the PS3. I guess it's because I can either handle the immaturity or it's because I don't use my own mic a lot.
  5. I live in the Empire State, New York! However, unlike most Bronies here, I don't live in NYC. I live in central NY, in Syracuse. Definitely a big city but not as ritzy as Manhattan lol.
  6. This kind of reminds me of the work of Yoshitaka Amano, famed concept art designer for the Final Fantasy series. This is a really, really great piece of artwork you drew. Keep it at, man! With your skills you can easily get a job at some of the great comic studios someday!
  7. They really are something. When I see Tara Strong doing a voice like Timmy Turner and then going to Twilight Sparkle, it's like listening to a completely different VA. It's really amazing how much these actors/actresses can do with their talented voices and how much work they put into making animated pictures the wonders that they truly are. Three cheers to the MLP cast members!
  8. It's really not even worth arguing about because it's ultimately either "YEAH THE WRITERS SUCK AT ESTABLISHING CHARACTER" or "Well, the writers are doing the best they can with the characters and the Mane 6 are entertaining, nevertheless." I like every character in some way or form, even if it's the CMC. They all have redeeming qualities that odds out their mostly bland personality.
  9. I like Applejack. To the people who say that AJ doesn't represent her element well, then how do you explain the others? Dashie isn't always loyal to other people (just look at "The Mysterious Mare Do Well"), Fluttershy isn't kind all the time ("Putting Your Hoof Down"), etc. Every pony makes their mistakes that don't really represent their elements.
  10. I have gone to many forums who have tried to do this sort of member recognition, and everytime it adds up in some sort of flame war or drama fest. Best to say that I don't agree with spotlighting anybody, since all the members here make up the greatness that is MLP Forums. To single out one member every month might not hold over so well with others.
  11. There's always that one character that each individual seems to really dislike in the show just because the characters don't relate to them personality wise. Like the CMC, I really don't like their storylines and their personalities (well, except Scootaloo because she is like the mini Rainbow Dash) but I don't necessarily hate them. I just get bored when watching an episode that involves them, that's all.
  12. These are really good, CD. It makes me go back to the days where I would get the Sony Playstation Magazine and they would have character inserts sort of like this. It's really informative to anybody who wants to have a quick overview of the villains too. Keep up the good work!
  13. I added myself as well. TrinityLimit_X is my name however I really only go on every once in a while. But who knows, maybe interest will peak after I join the group!
  14. Am I the only person who doesn't like That 70's Show? I just thought the premise was entirely contradictive as it was more of a 90's show than a regular depiction of what actually happened in the 70's. I think the most "70's" episode from the show is when Eric Forman streaks in front of president Gerald Ford and his father asks Ford a very taboo question. Other than that, the ideas really came from a 90's standpoint, besides mentioning bands and television shows that were clearly from the 60's or 70's. Besides Seinfeld, I absolutely love one-camera angle sitcoms like Malcolm In The Middle and Scrubs. I just think that without a studio audience and a laugh track, the show seems to have a lot more creativity and a sense of realism that makes the content more humorous and more enjoyable to watch. Also, I'll leave you with my all-time favorite clip from the greatest sitcom to ever live.
  15. August 8 - I get to attend the Great Galloping Gala with Sweetie Belle..... .....Uh, erm, yeah, this is the worst birthday ever lol. I must go back in time and make my parents conceive me on the date I get to hug Rainbow Dash.
  16. I don't really keep up with today's modern music. I usually just listen to "blast to the past" radio stations or just download classic oldies from the internet via Youtube-MP3 converter. At least I'm tech-savvy when it comes to that sort of stuff lol. I also didn't really get into this gaming generation. I own a PS3 and Wii, but I only have 5 games for the Wii and I barely play with my PS3 anymore (last game I played was Final Fantasy XIII, I think). I usually play my N64, PS1, and SNES a hell of a lot more just because I like revisiting the games of old that made me get interested into the medium in the first place.
  17. MOVE OUTTA THE WAY, 2012 PERSON COMING THROUGH HERE! *stumbles in* Nice to meet you, ya old geezer! I personally think coming back and meeting all the newcomers here is a breath of fresh air. Sure, you wanna talk to some of the people you recognize and catch up, but I always think it's fun to roam around and meet some of the new freshmeat that has invaded these here parts. So, I'll go for it! Put it here, pardner! *spits in hand; AJ handshake style*
  18. I would probably want to spend it with both TailsAlone and Chaotic Discord. @~Chaotic Discord~ basically messaged me out of the blue one day in a very nice manner and applauded one of my posts. A very nice guy, if I do say so myself! Plus, we both have a case of Dashie Fever so that's always a plus! has virtually the same kind of interests that I do, plus we seem to have the same tastes for Sonic games. Seems like a guy who knows what he's talking about and has very great tastes in gaming.
  19. I honestly think Daniel Craig is the best Bond actor next to Sean Connery. Casino Royale and Quantum of Solace are some of the best action movies produced in my opinion. I haven't seen Skyfall yet but I really want to.
  20. Hahaha, that's great! I used to watch that show growing up, but I never really caught on with the whole voice. Perfect allusion though to the color of his mane. I swear, these animators/writers are pretty darn clever.
  21. I actually have a few nicknames. I get commonly called "Aegis" just because that's my main internet screename. Some people call me "bukkake" for some reason, just because I talked about it one time in the cafeteria and everybody though I loved looking at that stuff. So the name stuck......*sigh* >.> Then people call me "Prince Vegeta" because I do a mean Vegeta impression, the Christopher Sabat version though, not the Ocean Dub.
  22. It's to make people feel miniscule and feed on their jealously. They then get a sudden urge to spam massively around the forums until they can't even eat or sleep. And that's all they will ever do. They will post until their fingers all break off and they slump back into their rotting chair. Their life will be meaningless. Game over, man. You died posting on forums. .......Or, it's just for forum stats. Whatever works for you.
  23. When Rareware got bought by Microsoft I think that's when my childhood fell into the toilet. Not only did they castrate Banjo-Kazooie by making Nuts and Bolts which didn't even retain the same great gameplay and character drive, but they never released any Conker sequel and cancelled the highly anticipated Donkey Kong Racing and a DK64 sequel. They were one of my most favorite video game developers but because of lust and greed, they partnered up with the death machine.
  24. I always feel that Equestria is simply a representation of the afterlife. Once we die, we go to a place that's peaceful (most of the time), colorful, lush, and comfortable, and the best part is that it's ran entirely by ponies! If Equestria were to exist somewhere, make sure that humans stay the fuck away from there.
  25. Doesn't matter, man. 90 years old is still wicked old at least for our standards of today. I'm just talking about animation in general.
