I tend to procrastinate. I have difficulty choosing the right words to express myself in speech, especially when given a statement rather than a question, and as a result I tend to speak either slowly and deliberately, or full of stammers and ums. I attribute this to having a wide vocabulary and often trying to force myself to speak more plainly rather than with the eloquence I attempt in the written word. I have ADD but I take meds for it.

Freespace 2 - An excellent space combat game, with ships of unbelievable scale and a well crafted story. Thief The Dark Project - You rob rich/bad people blind, sneaking around with a blackjack and water arrows like a badflank. Mount n Blade - You ride around 5 or 6 kingdoms on horseback, amassing an army and trying to literally rule the world. Awesome epic horseback battles in first/third person, you will lose hours in this game for sure. All of these are PC games.

Dogs are way better. I'm allergic to cats, and also dogs are just better. That's my story and I'm stickin' to it. There's no way any cat can be as excellent as my dog Ozzy.

The world doesn't have to specifically unite under a single government in order to get along as if we are. Do you think the United States, for example, would be better off as one enormous state than as 50 cooperative states? The oversight needed would be tremendous and untenable. Remember how well that sort of thinking worked for every other empire ever. The whole point of organizations like the UN is so that countries can maintain their sovereignty and protect the interests of their people while encouraging international trade and fellowship. Sure it isn't perfect, but it's ridiculous to expect any kind of sociopolitical system run by complex, highly flawed creatures such as ourselves to run as smoothly in real life as it might theoretically. The mathematical model you would need to encompass every society in the world into a single cohesive economic and political force that could be controlled or even predicted would probably match the standard model of physics in complexity. I have a few words about the religious aspect of this that some of you have suggested. Despite the prevalence of religion in the world, it is no longer the vehicle for leadership it once was in centuries past. People will believe what they want to believe, but there's no way dogma and superstition (deal with it) could possibly pull the clout necessary to unite people under a single banner. That's just not the way humans work, unless they've been raised in the Dark Ages and have literally no other options or ideas about the world. This is the age of information, though, and the masses are slowly becoming less mindless.

I fear losing all my senses and living in a world of ever-fading memories and shadow. I'm not really afraid of death, but I am anxious about dying before I feel I've reached my potential. I love to be alone, so that's no big deal, and the dark is more annoying than terrifying when you get past the primal terror it can inflict on the brain.

Hmm.. A few things concern me about doing this myself. 1. I'm a bit of a psychonaut. I admit I love the change in perspective that comes with psychedelia. All these experiences have been measured and finite, however, and I'm worried about synthesizing another consciousness within my mind and the fact that it operates without my express and intentional consent. I am also not stoked about the possibility of it becoming something I did not intend or that I can't readily turn off. 2. I already am the sort of person who is not good at identifying his own emotions. Like an alien or a robot, almost. When I'm sad, for instance, the reason for my sadness is always overridden by my analysis of the fact that my brain is making the "sadness" chemicals, and that I'm currently being a sad person, and it rather makes me impersonal to my own life. Same with anger, and horniness, and happiness, for the most part. With that in mind, I am unsure if I would be able to successfully make a tulpa without constantly reigning it in and remembering what its source is. I don't know if I can trick my brain so easily.

No, dude, no. Some people are both, and I'm sure there's a decent amount of overlap between the two groups, but they're not the same. I think the ponies are great but I have absolutely no interest in anything "furry". Species blending or whatever anthro is supposed to be is too weird for me.

Dubstep is uniformly awful. I don't dignify it by considering it a "genre" of music, as it's not, it's modulating bass and synth waves. BFD, people have been doing that for decades and it has not gotten any cooler. I seriously can't wait until every kid with a laptop and Fruity Loops moves on from this terrible fad. Most anime is way too anime-ish for my tastes. Some shows really lay it on thick and don't seem to realize it, and it makes me feel ridiculous. I much prefer anime that has either great storytelling and style (Cowboy Bebop, NGE, Akira) or some meta humor and a sense of humor about itself (Excel Saga, FLCL, Magical Shopping Arcade Abenobashi). Derpy... not all that great.

I don't have a habit of making enemies, but if I had to choose one person whom I would attempt to foil at every turn, I would pick... governor Scott Walker. He's a scummy shithead.

I'll let Carl Sagan take this one. This should answer your question handily, as well as many others. If you can find no beauty in our circumstance, then it seems to me unlikely you can appreciate anything at all.

I am of the opinion that people put too much faith in unconventional poetry. Part of its beauty and its challenge, I believe, is finding the right words to suit the emotion as well as the rhythm. On that note, congratulations, as this is an excellently crafted poem.

Yes I would, because fuck that guy. He's one of the only people in history whom I would willingly and laugh the whole time. If I can go back in time and make him suffer unimaginably, I'll do it every day. It would be delicious. Barring that, I can live with taking his wallet.
