With that said, I would say no not really. King Sombra is a weird Japanese Samurai Demon Afterthought Villain Pony, while the other thing is a flaming Red Bull. I did think it was funny that it is actually called "The Red Bull." It gives you wings!

    If you don't consider talent as "advanced ability" then there are I guess only a couple who show something a little more. Pinkie Pie is the first one that comes to mind. Though she is an Earth Pony, the most underrated class of pony, she has all of these abilities no other pony has. Main ones: gravity manipulation, insanely fast pursuit, Pinkie Sense, and amazing knowledge (sometimes of the future).

    I am as surprised as you are that I am saying this: I was disappointed. Yes, I said it. I watched the trailer for this close to a year ago and loved it. Seeing the final product, I like it but it was not as good as I thought it was going to be. Don't get me wrong for fan animation it is the best, yet I can absolutely tell the difference between the final product and show material. What blew it? Luna's neck animation probably. What else? I love love love love Luna, but I thought the vocals didn't match seamless to her. Looking forward to her confirmed singing in Season 4 with a passion. So yeah, still am blown away by the teaser (funny enough), but my high expectations were not met by the finished item.

    Obviously she is not one of the mane six, but I know FOR SURE what a certain pony's favorite food is... Though Applejack is a big eater and loves practically anything made with apples, Pinkie as you alluded to is easier to pin down. Generally, all sweets. She talks about them in the most detail. Other than the Mascarpone Meringue Madness, the food I think she got the most excited about was the Chocolate Rain emitting Cotton Candy Clouds ala Discord.

    This and the also posted minifigure of Chrysalis are going to be out soon. What I am surprised about is that no one has counted the fact that Chrysalis is indeed herself a changeling. She just so happens to be the queen. I absolutely see changelings coming out in the next year or so. If they released her (which by little girl standards is creepy), they are bound to release a "standard" changeling.

    This can be said of the performing arts in general, in that it is a poor way to making a living. On the whole, it's a very big yes. However, there is that very small few that have become millionaires from it. She thought she had something special, and could be both praised and paid for it. As the episode played out, this was not the case. While Sapphire Shores was on tour of Equestria, she worked on a rock farm.

    True, Trixie before the Amulet wasn't evil. However, she was a major b*tch and a hack. The amulet simply pushed her temporarily into the dark side, similar to Anakin Skywalker. It was hiding in plain sight! Wow thanks. Even though it is strictly cosmetic, there is potential for this connection to have a deeper meaning. The irony is as delicious as chocolate cake. This concept is an intriguing episode in the making.

    I personally haven't seen any material on Braeburn being gay, but apparently it exists? I would say it is highly inaccurate to say most fans. Five or even twenty isn't most. It is frankly funny how a small group of people wants to make as many things or people gay as possible. If something is gay, it's gay. Otherwise...no. From my observations, the only characters that fit the stereotype of gay on the show are: and mayyyyybe As for Braeburn, I don't see it. Verdict: straight.

    The one "type" I am surprised you didn't mention was Friendship. It apparently is the greatest magic of all. Interesting list though. You can probably consolidate it to just normal and dark magic, or maybe into just one. The magic in the show seems to be similar to the force in Star Wars. It is all the same, however it can be manipulated to do simple things like move a rock or major things like create life.

    I sincerely love this question. It supports the fact that the concept of Alicorn Twilight is so flawed and almost completely driven by the Hasbro marketing team. True, some of the writing team is on board with it because when they have lemons by God they make lemonade. However I think most of the team (including creator and past team leader Lauren Faust) were not receptive to or at least did not envision it. As so the question, not I think she will remain the same height. I wouldn't be surprised if she reverts back to a unicorn some time in Season 4.

    So if five posts say no and four say yes, will you not watch it? What are you precisely wanting to hear to convince you one way or another? What buzzwords? Yes watch it. Because nopony you would like dies, because it is made by the same amazing people that make the show, because it is an actual MLP movie, because Pinkie has some really funny lines... What would someone have to say for you not to see it though? Curious.

    Though this item is indeed connected to to the thread about merchandise we wished existed, I feel it deserves its own topic. It may take a little more momentum for Hasbro or another company to do this, but who else would buy articulated pony figures? A poster on another blog voice the same opinion, so I know I am not alone in this want: http://neftyshouseofrants.blogspot.com/2011/08/dear-princess-celestia-ponies-for.html [Posted by Nefty ] Though Hasbro is fully capable, I could see a Japanese company like Kaiyodo do some or all of the Mane Six for their Revoltech line of articulated action figures. Interchangeable expression heads and accessories would also be very cool. Even if they charged $30 a piece, I think there is a serious market for such things.

    Yeah, it isn't cheap that's for sure. Is it worth the price though? When lit up, and putting on your favorite wubs...yes. It was $54. Technically they were $50 but for expediency they asked $54 to cover CA sales tax. Congrats on the order! When do you expect it to arrive? We should maybe post a review of sorts. The Funko line is THE best collector MLP line. I don't know if you have seen it yet but I have a pic of the prototype of their DJ PON3: Funko's will probably be the best, yet the Hasbro one is more of the prestige piece. Plus, it kind of broke ground being a Hasbro produced molded mane fig (not including the minis).

    Wow. I have never seen a gun just like that before. Spring or gas? You will get a lot of comments if you take it to a field. If you make another, perhaps take the more subtle Sucker Punch route: Instead of painting the slide, perhaps attach Cutie Mark charms to the lanyard loop, with maybe a MLP engraving looking sticker applied to the slide.
